ABSTRACT
Interleukin-8ï¼IL-8ï¼ is an inflammatory factor secreted by multiple cells. It has a variety of biological effects such as trending inflammatory cells and promoting angiogenesis in the body. Currently, it is found to play an important role in promoting airway inflammation. Chronic rhinosinusitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the nasal cavity and sinus mucosa. Under the stimulation of a variety of factors, the secretion of IL-8 in the nasal mucosa and nasal polyps of CRS patients could increase. Therefore, it can cause inflammation and mucosal damage by trending chemotaxis neutrophils and eosinophils.
