RESUMEN

A cross-sectional study was conducted on 1 052 patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) who visited 10 community health service centers in Chaoyang and Haidian districts of Beijing from March 2019 to September 2019. Basic information, medical history, cardiovascular risk factors, β-blocker use, height, weight, blood pressure level and resting heart rate were collected by face-to-face interview;biochemical tests and on-site physical examination were performed;and the influencing factors of heart rate control were analyzed by logistic regression. There were 563 males (53.5%) and 489 females(46.5%),with a mean age of (66.7±9.5) years. The rate of β-blockers use was 43.6% (459/1 052). The average resting heart rate was (70±8)/min, and only 14.5% (153/ 1 052) patients had the heart rate under control. The resting heart rate control rate in patients with β-blockers use was 17.9% (82/459), higher than that of those without β-blockers use [12.0% (71/593), χ 2=7.23, P=0.007]. Moderate leisure activities were beneficial to the control of resting heart rate ( OR=2.14, 95% CI: 1.26-3.62). The study shows that β-blockers use and resting heart rate control in CHD patients in Beijing community health institutions were both at low levels, and the resting heart rate was not well controlled even in patients taking beta-blockers.

RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate the body composition and sarcopenia in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and to analyze the influencing factors. Methods:A total of 220 patients with stable COPD were enrolled in the study from China-Japan Friendship Hospital during July 2018 to December 2019; 220 age and sex-matched healthy subjects (control group 1) and 220 healthy young adults aged 20-40 years (control group 2) were enrolled from the community. The body composition was measured by bioelectrical impedance method. The demographic characteristics, disease conditions, living background and other related factors were collected by questionnaire. T test or one-way ANOVA were used for comparison between groups, and non parametric test was used for non normal distribution data. Results:Compared with the control group 1 and control group 2, the body fat rate ( Z=-10.037, t=-8.411), the fat free mass index ( Z=-8.165, t=-7.856), and appendicular skeletal muscle index (ASMI) ( t=-7.158, t=-11.989) were significantly lower in stable COPD patients ( P<0.05). Among 220 patients with stable COPD, 51 (23.2%) were diagnosed as sarcopenia; the prevalence of sarcopenia was 18.3% (24/131) in men and 30.3% (27/89) in women (χ2=4.297, P=0.038). The decreased ASMI and grip strength in COPD patients with sarcopenia were significantly associated with age≥75 (χ2= 15.746, F= 14.048), female sex ( Z=5.805, t=2.672), low income ( Z=-4.291, t=-4.789), Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) grade Ⅳ (χ2=22.644, F=3.905), Modified British Medical Research Council (mMRC) Dyspnea Scale grade 4 (χ2=12.475, F=4.369), not receiving systematic health education ( Z=-4.239, Z=-2.474), no exercise (χ2=14.786, F=3.402), insufficient nutrition intake (χ2=40.531, F=10.529). The range of 6-min walking distance was (110-268) m, that was even shorter for patients with mMRC dyspnea scale grade 4 ( F=3.468, P<0.05). Conclusion:The impairment of body composition is common in COPD patients, which will further affect the body function. It is suggested that the routine evaluation of COPD should include the measurement of body composition.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the survival condition of hemodialysis patients in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Methods Interviewed 15 patients with hemodialysis by applying Modified Grounded Theory Approach put forward by KinoSitaYasuHito,a Japanese scholar, the data of which were from qualitative inductive comparative analysis. Results As for the survival condition of hemodialysis patients in Ningxia, two relative themes were extracted, Helpless dialysis life Desire to return to society, the former contained 2 subtopics of hardship in life and susceptible mood, the latter contained 2 subtopics of cherish life and desire for care. Conclusion We should set up a social supporting system to improve the living condition of hemodialysis patients with the purpose of helping them return to the society.

RESUMEN

Objective Production of autotoxin protein in sf9 insect cells with biological activity. Methods Autotaxin cDNA was cloned into pFastBacTMHTA from melanoma cell by extraction of total RNA using TRIzol method and RT-PCR. Bacmid-ATX is isolated from transformed competent bacterial DH10 which carries Bac genomic sequences and transfected into sf9 using lipofectamine 2000. Recombinant ATX virus was amplified in sf9 and further used for infection and expression of ATX protein. Two step purification product using HistrapTMHP and Hiload 16/600 Suerdex 200pg was determined for lysophospholipase D (lysoPLD) activity. Results Correct insertion of PCR fragment is confirmed by BamH I/Xho I digestion and sequencing. ATX virus can infect sf9 and induced enzymatic activity. Column purification and SDS-PAGE resulted 95% in purity and 6mg/liter in yield with significant lysoPLD activity. Conclusion ATX Baculovirus was successfully constructed that can infect sf9 cells and express active lysoPLD. Production of active ATX can be used for crystalography studies and screening for small pharmaceutical inhibitors.

RESUMEN

Objective:To develop a two-step method for purification of monoclonal antibody rhTF243 protein from mouse ascites by using hydrophobic charge induction chromatography(HCIC) and affinity chromatography with protein A sepharose CL-4B.Methods:The ascites was first purified by HCIC after centrifugation and filtration. Then the fraction containing the protein of interest was directly purified by affinity chromatography with protein A sepharose CL-4B.Results:The purity of the obtained monoclonal antibody was up to 97% with recovery of 73% and of high activity. Conclusion:The method for purification of monoclonal antibody is developed using HCIC and Protein A affinity chromatography and the obtained antibodies are of high purity and activity.
