RESUMEN

To study the changes of motor and cognitive function of pituitary tumor rats after the operation. Methods: The experiment was divided into three groups: control group, model group and operation group (30 animals for each group). Female Fischer344 rats were selected. Model group rats were subcutaneously embedded with 10 mg estrogen sustained-release pump to induce a pituitary tumor model, and control group rats were subcutaneously embedded with a normal saline sustained-release pump as control. The operation group was successfully treated by microsurgery after the model was established. The quantitative expressions of PTTG, FGF-2 and VEGF were detected by Western blot. Morris test was used to detect the spatial learning and memory ability of rats. Western blot results showed that compared with the model group, the expression of the operation group was decreased, but still higher than that of the control group (p < 0.05). The water maze test results showed that the incubation period of searching the safe island in the model group was significantly longer than that in the control group on the 8th and 9th day after the injury, and the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). The incubation period of searching the safe island on the 8th and 9th day after injury in the operation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group. Through the detection of behavioral-related experimental and protein, the motor memory of rats after pituitary tumor surgery can be improved to some extent.

RESUMEN

Cotton is one of the most important crops in the world. With the increasing scarce of global water resources, irrigation water will become a major limiting factor in cotton production. Deficit irrigation is an irrigation method which consumes less water than the normal evapotranspiration of crops. It is an effective water-saving method due to improved water use efficiency without sacrificing cotton yield and fiber quality. We summarized the effects of deficit irrigation on the growth and water use efficiency of cotton. The results showed that deficit irrigation promoted the transformation from vegetative growth to reproductive growth, reduced plant height, leaf area, and total biomass of cotton, and subsequently improved the harvest index, stem diameter and water use efficiency. Finally, based on the current research and combined with cotton production reality, the application and future development of deficit irrigation were proposed, which might provide theoretical guidance for the sustainable development of cotton plantation in arid areas.

RESUMEN

To examine the effects of biodegradable film on preservation of soil temperature, moisture, growth and yield of cotton fields in Hexi area of Gansu, the trials were conducted with four treatments of DA (biodegradable film A with thickness of 0.012 mm), DB (biodegradable film B with thickness of 0.008 mm), common plastic film and unmulching were used to analyze the changes of degradation property, soil temperature, moisture, weeds control, and yield in 2016 and 2017. The results showed that the induction period of DB was three to five days earlier than that of the DA and the degradation rate was higher than DA. The mass loss rate of DA and DB could reach 95.6% and 94.5% respectively under 180 days landfill treatment. The DA showed good performance in water retention, soil warming in seedling stage, with no significant difference with the common plastic film. Due to the high degradation rate, water retention property, and insulation of DB were significantly lower than that of common plastic film. The growth period of cotton prolonged by biodegradable film compared with common plastic film, but with no significant difference of the emergence rate, boll number per plant, boll mass and lint percentage. However, the pre-frost yield and weeds control effects significantly decreased. There was no significant difference of cotton yield of DA compared with common film, but significantly increased by 73.1% and 59.9% compared with unmulching. The cotton yield of DB was significantly decreased by 11.8% and 7.1% compared with common film. In summary, DA played good performance on the preservation of soil temperature, moisture and the yield increasing effect, which could be applied in Hexi agricultural area of Gansu.
