RESUMEN
The objective of this note is to report the occurrence of the Biomphalaria straminea in the county of Cachoeira Dourada in the south of Goiás, and with that enhance the knowledge about its geographical distribution in the state. More than identify the species, the collection of thirty samples helped study and verify the presence of cercariae, especially because they were found in a setting which offers proper conditions to the development of a focal transmission site of schistosomiasis.

The first occurrence of the parasitoid Pachycrepoideus vindemiae on pupae of Ophyra aenescens, a fly of medical-sanitary importance, is reported. A swine carcass was used as bait to collect the insects. In the study, 302 pupae of Ophyra aenescens (Wiedemann) (Diptera: Muscidae) were obtained, 6 (1.98%) of them yielded the parasitoid Pachycrepoideus vindemiae (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae

This paper reports the first occurrence of the parasitoid Spalangia endius collected in pupae of Zaprionus indianus using traps with fruit bait. The experiment was carried out at the University of Lavras in Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil, from November to December, 2001. A total of 4 Spalangia endius specimens were obtained from 105 Zaprionus indianus pupae. The overall prevalence of parasitism was 3.8%.

This paper reports the first occurence of the parasite Aphaereta sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Alysiinae) which was collected from Peckia chrysostoma pupae (Diptera: Sarcophagidae) by means of traps containing some fish baits in a wood area close to the Agronomy college (Faculdade of Agronomia) in Itumbiara, Goiás, in the period from March to September, 2001. A total of 362 gregarious specimens of parasitoids from 26 pupae of P. chrysostoma. Aphaereta sp. was collected, with several individuals emerging from the same pupae.

The objective of this study was to appraise the occurrence of parasitoids of the family Chalcididae in Itumbiara County, State of Goiás, central Brazil. Insect samples were collected in pastures and native forest areas using pan traps, from January to December 1998. The traps consisted of circular yellow plastic containers (30 cm in diameter and 12 cm in height) containing a mixture of 2 L of water, 2 ml of detergent, and 2 ml of formaldehyde. Samplings were performed weekly by placing 10 traps at soil level (5 traps in the pasture and 5 in the woods). During 1998, 121 specimens of Chalcididae were collected. Haltichella sp.4 was the most abundant species collected (15.7%).

The objective of this paper was to report on the occurrence of parasitoids of Tuta absoluta Meyrick (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) on tomato plants, under greenhouse conditions, in Lavras County (21 degrees 14'43"S; 44 degrees 59'59"W), State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, from August 2001 to February 2002. Three groups of parasitoids were collected: 21 specimens of Bracon sp. (Braconidae), one specimen of Earinus sp. (Braconidae), and 13 specimens of Conura sp. (Chalcididae). The rate of parasitism for the three species was 4.2%, 0.2%, and 2.6%, respectively. This is the first reported occurrence of Earinus sp. parasitizing Tuta absoluta in Brazil.

This study reports the occurrence of Nasonia vitripennis (Walker) (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) as parasitoid of Cyrtoneurina pararescita (Diptera: Muscidae) (Couri, 1995) in bovine feces obtained in Goiânia, Goiás state, Brazil. Bovine manure samples, collected at two weeks intervals, were taken to the laboratory and the pupae were extracted by water flotation. Each pupa was placed in capsules of gelatin until the emergence of dipterous or their parasitoids. The parasitism percentage was of 2.4%. This paper reports the first occurrence of N. vitripennis as parasitoid of C. pararescita worldwide.

This study reports the occurrence of Pachycrepoideus vindemmiae (Rondani) (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) and Spalangia cameroni Perkins (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) as parasitoids of Ornidia obesa Fabricius (Diptera: Syrphidae) in poultry farms in Morrinhos, Goiás, state Brazil. Samples of chicken feces were collected at two weeks intervals and taken to the laboratory. The pupae were extracted by water flotation. Each pupa was placed in capsules of gelatin until the emergence of dipterous or their parasitoids. The parasitism percentage of P. vindemmiae and S. cameroni was 5.1 percent.
RESUMEN
The synanthropic indexes of Diptera parasitoid present in forest, rural, and urban areas were determined in the municipality of Monte Alegre, MG, from March to November 2006. The dipterous pupae were obtained by the flotation method and individually placed in gelatin capsules until the emergence of the dipterous and/or their parasitoids. The synanthropic indexes of parasitoid Kleidotoma nigra (Hartig) (Hymenoptera: Figitidae), Paraganaspis egeria Díaz, Gallardo & Walsh (Hymenoptera: Figitidae), Spalangia cameroni Perkins (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae), Trichopria sp. (Hymenoptera: Diapriidae), Triplasta atrocoxalis (Ashmead) (Hymenoptera: Figitidae), and Triplasta coxalis (Ashmead) (Hymenoptera: Figitidae) were +0.1, -100, +50, +100, -3, and -100, respectively.

This study determined the species of microhymenopterous of Diptera present in cattle and buffalo dung, from May 2003 to June 2004 and from April 2006 to March 2007 in chicken manure. All samples were collected in Southern Goiás State, Brazil. The dipterous pupae were obtained by the flotation method. They were individually placed in gelatin capsules until the emergence of the flies and/or their parasitoids. The percentages of parasitism in cattle dung and chicken manure were 12.4% and 10.0%, respectively.

This study reports the first occurrence of Muscidifurax raptorellus (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) in Brazil. Chicken manure samples, collected at two-week interval, were taken to the laboratory and the pupae were extracted by the method of flotation. Each pupa was placed in capsules of colorless gelatin until the emergence of dipterous or their parasitoids. In the study, ten pupae of Fannia pusio (Wiedemann, 1830) (Diptera: Fanniidae) were obtained, two of which yielded the parasitoid M. raptorellus . The percentage of parasitism was 5.0 percent.

This study verified the percentage of parasitism and hosts species of the parasitoid Triplasta atrocoxalis (Ashmead) (Hymenoptera: Figitidae: Eucoilinae) in cattle and buffalo dung, collected in the South of Goiás state, Brazil; from January 1998 to June 2004. The pupae were obtained by the flotation method. They were individually placed in gelatin capsules until the emergence of adult dipterous or their parasitoids. The percentage of parasitism in cattle and buffalo dung was 2.5 percent percent and 0.1 percent, respectively.
