RESUMEN
The effects of platinum nanoparticles on the morphological structures of the solid phase of blood serum and the tone of cerebral microvessels as indicators of the dynamics of homeostasis were studied on outbred albino male rats (n=40) weighing 300-350 g. Platinum nanoparticles were injected to experimental animals in 1 ml of physiological saline. For systemic BP measurements and blood sampling, the femoral artery was isolated and catheterized. The study of solid phase structures of blood serum was conducted by the method of cuneiform dehydration. The results showed that injection of platinum nanoparticles significantly affected the body of experimental animals.

Reversible cerebral ischemia of medium severity was reproduced in male Wistar rats by bilateral occlusion of the common carotid arteries. Solid-phase structures (anisomorphons) were obtained by marginal dehydration of the serum. Small focal isotropic defects in the serum anisomorphon texture were found in 100% cases during occlusion of the carotid arteries. Similar signs were detected in all patients with chronic cerebral ischemia, which proved specificity of this morphological marker of the disease.

The purpose: The purpose. To reveal solid-phase structures of blood serum during and after experimental cerebral ischemia. Methods: Integrated estimation pathophysiological changes at brain ischemia received on solid-phase structures of blood serum (BS) at 27 rats-male Vistar in weight of 300-390 g. Reversible brain ischemia of moderate severity was reproduced imposing surgical clips on both common carotids for 15 minutes then clips removed and provided bloodstream restoration on carotids. Blood took away in Eppendorf`s test tube in volume on 1 ml before imposing clips, directly ahead of their removal and in 30 minutes after bloodstream restoration. By the Method cuneiform dehydration received BS facia (dry a film) which structures analyzed by means of stereomicroscope MZ12 firm «Leica¼. Results of researches fixed on structural parameters BS before imposing clips, after removal clips and in 30 minutes after bloodstream restoration. Results: Before ischemia the integrated picture facias BS rats had the harmonious system organisation: the radial or partially-radial arrangement of the cracks, accurately generated konkrecias that testified to normal physiological condition of experimental animals. During the period occlusions carotids there were markers of a ischemia, activation of a capillary blood-groove, inflammatory reaction and stress. Partially these signs remained at reperfusion. Conclusion: The conducted researches of structures BS on experimental animals have allowed to reveal marker structures BS similar revealed at inspection of people with an ischemia of a brain.

BACKGROUND: The increasing number of long-livers in the developed countries indicates the demand for clarification of the body vital systems' functioningfeatures which allow the long-livers to prolong their active involvement in social life. OBJECTIVE: Aim of our study/research was to define a functional condition of urinary system in long-livers using the new diagnostic technology which analyses the structures of biological liquid at its phase transition in a solid state. METHODS: A case series study was held. All long-livers suffered from atherosclerosis and its complications as well as from associated diseases. An exclusion criterion was acute conditions. The creatinine level in blood serum, indicators of common urine analysis and features of urine facies (using cuneiform dehydration) were defined. RESULTS: Participants included 60 long-livers (mean age 87.34±4.17 years) who were passing clinical laboratory tests at in-patient department of gerontological hospital. In urine facies of 41 (68.3%) long-livers a phenomenon of salt crystals distribution was identified. It presents the concentration of anisotropic salt crystals in the form of a ring in a regional facies zone. The tenfold increase in concentration of calcium and double increase in concentration of phosphorus in comparison with the central zone was detected in long-livers with a higher percent sulphur in the regional zone of urinefacies. CONCLUSION: The urine facies of the majority of long-livers have signs of age structure formation associated with a specific distribution of anisotropic salt crystals which fix detritus in its inert form to block the autointoxication.

Dynamic observation of 32 patients with laryngeal cancer, treated with radiotherapy and combination therapy, was performed using diagnostic technology "Litos-system", including the definition of serum morphotypes by marginal dehydration of biological fluids. In nine of them, on the background of the treatment, there was continued growth of the tumor. In the blood serum seven of nine patients had special microspheroliths, characterized by the presence of "wavy" structures. Such "wavy" microspheroliths could be seen as a harbinger of the continued growth of the tumor, because after their appearance there were detected signs of clinical progression. Apparently, the appearance of mentioned "wavy" structures in the patient's blood is a result of release into the blood of qualitatively new macromolecules produced by a clone of malignant tumor cells.

The difficulty of early diagnostics of weakly symptomatic clinical course of chronic pyelonephritis (CP) is attributable to the lack of adequate methods. We used a novel Litos system diagnostic technology based on morphological analysis of dehydrated biological fluid The aim of the study was to develop methods for CP diagnostics from morphological characteristics of urine at different stages of the disease. It included 108 patients aged 58+/-1.3 yr with CP and 24 practically healthy subjects. Standard examination of all patients was supplemented by the analysis of urine using the Litos system. It was shown that morphological picture of urine makes it possible to objectively detect not only complete remission or exacerbation of the disease but also partial remission and high risk of CH even in patients with weakly symptomatic clinical course of this pathology. In case of incomplete remission, the treatment requires adequate long-term (three-course) antibacterial therapy despite normal results of urine analysis and microbiological studies. Patients at high risk of CP need to be prescribed preventive phytotherapy.

The very old people is a growing population group in Russia and in Moscow in particular that requires more close attention as it demands special medical and social approaches. The investigation was based on data obtained from Moscow district clinics concerning the gender and pathologies structure of people aged 90 yrs and older. In this group women prevailed in total amount and among those older 100 yrs. Striking gender difference was revealed in disturbances of the carbohydrate metabolism. The most frequent pathologies in this population are cardiovascular, nerve and gastrointestine duct systems diseases that have equal prevalence among men and women. Centenarians appeared to be healthier than those in the group of 90-94 yrs. Many of them could serve themselves without extra help (36,48% versus 13,06%). The results obtained in this research must be helpful in the organization of geriatric clinics and cabinets.

In this article the critical analysis of a state of geriatric service in the Russian Federation is given. It is marked, that actually geriatric service is submitted by a wide network of establishments of various functional orientation and specialization: the establishments rendering the medico-social help to elderly patients in-home, in outpatient and stationary conditions. Thus territorial distribution of establishments is of non-uniform and not always corresponds to the actual requirements of region. The geriatric service has not quite satisfactory legal base. It has no vertical administrative connections, and horizontal connections carry mainly initiative, fragmentation forms. Staff of service has no standardization; permanent appointments of geriatric doctors are not entered in list of staff of treatment-and-prophylactic establishments. The professional training of geriatric doctors is carried out only in some educational institutions, and experts of the average level are actually not trained anywhere. All these lacks create the certain pressure in medico-social service of the senior age population and do not enable to use actual potential of geriatric service in full. Some variants on a possible exit from the situation are offered in the article.

The parameters of the wedge dehydrated samples of aqueous humor and tear taken from patients with senile cataract were compared by a morphometric assay. Computer-aided processing of the images of the test biological fluids was made on a Morphotest-1 hardware-software complex. The study has provided evidence for the uniformity of distribution of major structural components in the dehydrated samples of tear and aqueous humor in each specific examinee. This fact opens up possibilities for studying the signs of different intraocular pathological conditions from the morphological pattern of tear.

The data and theoretical points given in the paper mould basically new views of molecular relationships underlying the function of living beings and biological rhythms. The authors' procedure for wedge biological fluid dehydration reveals a wide autowave spectrum that is clearly detectable when the fluid passes into the solid phase. A hypothesis of the autowave interaction of biologically active molecules is forwarded, which considers autowaves as a basis of organization of physiological and pathological processes occurring in the body.

The data on the results of clinico-immunological examination of 46 infants having purulent inflammatory infections in the first month of their life and treated with (a) immunoglobulin for intravenous injection, (b) with hyperimmune antistaphylococcal plasma and immunoglobulin for intravenous injection and (c) without the use of specific hyperimmune preparations are presented. The clinico-laboratory data thus obtained (the levels of serum immunoglobulins and the content of T-rosette-forming lymphocytes) are indicative of the expediency of including the intravenous injection of donor immunoglobulin into the complex therapy of newborn infants with severe and moderate forms of purulent inflammatory infections at an early period of the disease irrespective of its etiology.

Clinico-morphological, cyto- and biochemical, cytogenetic, immunological studies were carried out in 68 patients with chronic monocytic leukemia. It was found that the main diagnostic signs of this lesion are an associated or isolated enlargement of lymph nodes, the speen and liver, persistent absolute and relative monocytosis in the peripheral blood and sternal needle biopsy specimens, multifocal or diffuse outgrowth of monocytic elements in the bone marrow trepanobiopsy specimens from the ileac bone. Also, dysproteinemia mainly on account on hypergammaglobulinemia, a rather in monocytes and the reduced activity of alkaline phosphatase in neutrophils are characteristic of chronic monocytic leukemia. The basic histomorphological manifestations of the disease are leukemic infiltration by monocytes and reticular cells of the bone marrow, of flat and tubular bones, lymphnodes, the spleen, liver and other organs.

Many-year observations, made by the authors, indicated that the main mechanism of medullotherapy is healing of histocompatible allogenic bone marrow, transplanted against the background of immunosuppressive therapy. In patients with hyperplastic anemia bone marrow transplantation results in a persistant clinico-hematologic remission. Observations, made by the workers of the Leningrad Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, have demonstrated that transplantations of the preserved autologous bone marrow to patients with malignant neoplasms contribute to the restoration of hemopoiesis, suppressed by high doses of chemical drugs and associated radiotherapy.

The distribution of transplantation HL-A antigens in 124 patients (cancer of the stomach, mammary glands, the large intestine, the lung, skeletal sarcoma) was studied in microlymphocyte toxic reaction. A comparison with the results of the analogous examination of healthy persons dwelling in Leningrad indicated certain differences in the frequency of encountering some antigens, and the absence of HLA-B18 antigen among patients. Most frequently (in 62%) an "incomplete set" of antigens was found in a group of patients, antigens typical for the whole locus (more frequently "B") being absent in 7.3%. In 6.4% "extra" (live or more) HL-A antigens were noted. The use of adaptive immunotherapy would significantly change antigenic spectrum of lymphocytes in patients.
