RESUMEN

Since December 2019, the corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has been reported in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Almost 70% of patients susceptible to 2019-nCoV are over age of 50 years, with extremely large proportion of critical illness and death of the elderly patients. Meanwhile, the elderly patients are at high risk of osteoporotic fractures especially osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF). During the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic, orthopedists are confronted with the following difficulties including how to screen and protect OVCF patients, how to accurately diagnose and assess the condition of OVCF patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, and how to develop reasonable treatment plans and comprehensive protective measures in emergency and outpatient clinics. In order to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of patients with OVCF diagnosed with COVID-19, the authors jointly develop this expert consensus. The consensus systematically recommends the standardized emergency and outpatient screening and confirmation procedures for OVCF patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 and protective measures for emergency and outpatient clinics. Moreover, the consensus describes the grading and classification of OVCF patients diagnosed with COVID-19 according to the severity of illness and recommends different treatment plans and corresponding protective measures based on the different types and epidemic prevention and control requirements.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the clinical value of plasma D -D and blood glucose change in treating patients with bone trauma. Methods Selected 200 patients with bone trauma as the observation group,60 cases of healthy persons as the control group. The plasma D -D and blood glucose of the two groups were detected, and the results were analyzed. Results The plasma D -D and blood glucose of the observation group were more than those of the control group, and it was gradually reduced from first day to third day and fifth day.The plasma D -D of the observation group was (174.7 ±40.2)μg/L,blood glucose was (5.2 ±0.4)mmol/L.The plasma D -D of first day, third day and fifth day of the observation group were (1 452.6 ±303.4)μg/L,(982.2 ±215.2)μg/L,(705.6 ± 152.9)μg/L respectively. The blood glucose of first day, third day and fifth day of the observation group were (14.2 ±2.3)mmol/L,(10.3 ±1.2)mmol/L,(7.6 ±1.9)mmol/L,respectively.The difference was statistically sig-nificant(F =3.49,P <0.05).In the observation group, the more severe injury in patients, the higher plasma D -D and blood glucose, and it was gradually reduced from first day to third day and fifth day,the difference was statistically significant(F =4.83,P <0.05).Conclusion In judging the condition of bone trauma,it is important to measure plasma D -D and blood glucose levels, and this method should be popularized in clinical use.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE@#To evaluate the efficacy of Ethosomes encapsulated with 5-FU in treatment of laryngotracheal stenosis in rabbit models.@*METHOD@#The 5-FU ethosome was prepared by the thin film hydration method, and the size distribution and the encapsulation efficiency was investigated. The tracheal mucosa was scraped about 0.5 cm in width with a nylon brush to induce the scar formation in the airway, then animals were divided into three groups: 5-FU ethosome group,5-FU group and saline group. Drugs were injected into scar by paracentesis under endoscope in each group respectively. The severity of stenosis was observed under laryngofiberoscope immediately, 7, 14, 21 days after administration.@*RESULT@#Airway stenosis of 5-FU ethosome group was not significantly different compared with 5-FU group at 7 days after administration, but 5-FU ethosome significantly reduced the airway stenosis at 21 days after administration when compared with 5-FU group and no restenosis was noticed during the observation period.@*CONCLUSION@#Ethosomes encapsulated with 5-FU was effective for laryngotracheal stenosis. It is a potentially new method for ameliorating airway stenosis originated from granulation tissue.

RESUMEN

Objective To explore the correlation between Chlamydia pneumoniae (Cpn) infection and sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSHL). Methods One hundred and twenty patients with SSHL were enrolled as SSHL group, and another 120 healthy subjects were served as control group. Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated, and the expression of Cpn-specific antigen (Cpn-Ag) and Cpn-DNA in PBMCs was detected by direct immunofluorescence test and PCR, respectively. Specific antibodies (IgA, IgG and IgM) to Cpn were determined by microimmunofluorescence test. Results There was no significant difference in the positive findings between direct immunofluorescence test and PCR (P>0.05). There were significant differences in the positive rates of Cpn-Ag and Cpn-IgM for acute infection between these two groups (P<0.01), and there were significant differences in the positive rates of Cpn-IgA and Cpn-IgG for chronic infection between these two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion There is a significantly higher prevalence of Cpn in patients with SSHL. Cpn infection may be a possible cause for SSHL.

RESUMEN

Objective To apply data mining to risk prediction of sudden deafness, and form the association rules. Methods The clinical data of 517 patients with sudden deafness was collected, including the characteristics of 19 attributes: sex, age, season, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerosis, long-term smoking, alcoholism, mental tension, insomnia, weakness, bedridden, infection, congenital malformation, trauma, tumour and autoimmune diseases. The source database were cleaned, then mapped for mining database. Minimum support to 0.1 and minimum confidence level to 0.9 were set for analysis of association rules. Results One hundred and six strong association rules were formed, and the rules contained the relation between the incidence of sudden deafness and the characteristics of 19 attributes. Conclusion This method is conducive to make the abstract theory of mathematical statistics into useful association rules to guide the practice of disease prevention and control.

RESUMEN

It is a promising method to use Liposomes as a carrier in the transdermal delivery system.Presently, llposomes, deformable liposomes, and ethosomes are in common use.The transdermal mechanism of the liposomes is to promote the velocity and the amount of the drugs of transdermal absorbance by affecting the keratoderma, acting on the skin appendages and changing the exterior characteristic of the drugs to make them permeate the skins. The Mechanism of the actions includes hydration.penetration, transforamation, and osmotic pressure driving effect, etc. The liposomes have been approved to have abroad prospect of application in the transdermal delivery system.
