RESUMEN

Public-private partnerships ( PPP ) can realize public goals of improving human health through the private investors′ financial resources and professional skills. The authors summarized the three models of PPP implementation in public hospitals. 94 PPP projects with complete information from the project database operated by the Ministry of Finance were selected and analyzed. Problems identified include shortage of relevant organizational capacities and experience of government departments, low qualification requirements for potential private investors. Furthermore, these projects are faced with lack of competitiveness, insufficient awareness of the risks, lack of clear performance evaluation standards and difficulty in supervision, as well as poor attraction to private investors. Relevant countermeasures and suggestions have been put forward.

RESUMEN

Objective To analyze characteristics of pathogenic microbiology and antimicrobial susceptibility of Vib-rio vulnificus (V.vulnificus)causing infection in patients at a hospital in Shantou City. Methods Four patients with V.vulnificus infection admitted to a hospital between June 2013 and June 2014 were analyzed retrospectively, blood specimens of patients were collected for culture, blister fluid and wound secretion were taken and inoculated on blood agar plates,MacConkey agar plates, and thiosulfate citrate bile salts sucrose (TCBS)plates, isolated strains were identified and performed antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Results Among 4 patients with V. vulnificus infection,3 died,1 was cured;patients developed primary septicemia and lower extremity infection be-cause of eating pickled crab, steamed scallop,or contacting with seafood products after trauma. Blister fluid from patients A and B,wound secretion from patient C,and blood from patient D were all isolated oxidase-positive gram-negative bacteria which produced green colonies on TCBS plate, these strains were identified as V.vulnificus, which were resistant or intermediate to cefazolin, intermediate to cefotetan, and 1 strain was resistant to cefepime. Conclusion Four patients infected with V.vulnificus have high mortality rate (3/4),positive rates of blister fluid and wound secretion are higher than blood;timely medical consultation, early antimicrobial therapy, and active de-bridement will help to cure the disease.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE To explore the relationship between intubation of general anesthesia and lower respiratory tract infection.METHODS Totally 947 cases were divided into bronchial intubation group(groupⅠ,541 cases) and(tracheal) intubation group(groupⅡ,406 cases) for a retrospective analysis about lower respiratory tract(infection). The(sputum) samples of(infected) patients were took germiculture and antibiotic susceptibility.RESULTS There were 26 cases arisen lower respiratory tract infection in group Ⅰ and there were 18 in group Ⅱ.The(incidence) was 4.81% and 4.43%,respectively.86.36% pathogens of sputum samples were non-zymophytes,it was a direct proportion between high(antimicrobial) resistance rate and lower respiratory tract infection rate. The infection rate of 60-70 years old and under 49 years patients was 9.56% and 2.04%,respectively.The infection rate of(patients) undergoing anesthesia less 3h and over 3h was 3.26% and 6.14%,respectively,with significant(differences)(P
