RESUMO

The persulfate-based advanced oxidation process has been an effective method for refractory organic pollutants' degradation in aqueous phase. Herein, α-MnO2 with nanowire morphology was facially fabricated via a one-step hydrothermal method and successfully activated peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for Rhodamine B (RhB) degradation. Influencing factors, including the hydrothermal parameter, PMS concentration, α-MnO2 dosage, RhB concentration, initial pH, and anions, were systematically investigated. The corresponding reaction kinetics were further fitted by the pseudo-first-order kinetic. The RhB degradation mechanism via α-MnO2 activating PMS was proposed according to a series of quenching experiments and the UV-vis scanning spectrum. Results showed that α-MnO2 could effectively activate PMS to degrade RhB and has good repeatability. The catalytic RhB degradation reaction was accelerated by increasing the catalyst dosage and the PMS concentration. The effective RhB degradation performance can be attributed to the high content of surface hydroxyl groups and the greater reducibility of α-MnO2, and the contribution of different ROS (reactive oxygen species) was 1O2 > O2·- > SO4·- > ·OH.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of crisis intervention in middle-aged and young patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary stent implantation (PCI). METHODS: A total of 108 middle-aged and young patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing PCI were selected from July 2018 to July 2019 in the Department of Cardiology, Hai'an County People's Hospital. They were divided into two groups, according to a random number table, with 54 cases in each group. The control group implemented routine postoperative intervention, and the intervention group implemented postoperative crisis intervention. The changes in the two groups' sense of crisis, mental state, quality of life and hope level before and after the intervention were compared. RESULTS: The emotional, behavioral, and cognitive scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group after 4 weeks of intervention (P < .05). The mental state scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group (P < .05). Also, the various quality of life scores were higher than those of the control group (P < .05). The intervention group's hope level scores were higher than the control group (P < .05) after 4 weeks of intervention. CONCLUSION: The application of crisis intervention to middle-aged and young patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI can reduce the sense of crisis, improve their mental state and quality of life, and raise the level of hope.

RESUMO

With the increase of real-time stream data, knowledge discovery from stream data becomes more and more important, which requires an efficient data structure to store transactions and scan sliding windows once to discover frequent itemsets. We present a new method named Linking Compact Tree (LCTree). We designed an algorithm by using an improved data structure to create objective tree, which can find frequent itemsets with linear complexity. Secondly, we can merge items in sliding windows by one scan with Head Linking List data structure. Third, by implementing data structure of Tail Linking List, we can locate the obsolete nodes and remove them easily. Finally, LCTree is able to find all exact frequent items in data stream with reduced time and space complexity by using such a linear data structure. Experiments on datasets with different sizes and types were conducted to compare the proposed LCTree technique with well-known frequent item mining methods including Cantree, FP-tree, DSTree, CPSTree, and Gtree. The results of experiments show presented algorithm has better performance than other methods, and also confirm that it is a promising solution for detecting frequent item sets in real time applications.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of the whole-process health management model on the compliance of oral warfarin treatment in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation in primary hospitals. METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 130 patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation treated in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Hai'an People's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2019. Among them, 63 patients who received routine continuing care were included in the control group, and 67 patients treated with whole-course health management model of primary hospitals were included in the observation group. The two groups were compared in terms of the following parameters: Warfarin anticoagulation knowledge, medication compliance, compliance rate (international normalized ratio, INR) monitoring, bleeding events (gingival bleeding, subcutaneous bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.), embolic events (vascular thrombosis), negative emotions before and after management, and patient satisfaction. Logistic analysis was used to analyze independent risk factors affecting the effect of warfarin anticoagulation in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the warfarin anticoagulation knowledge, medication compliance, and INR compliance rate of the observation group were significantly higher, and the incidence of adverse events was significantly lower. Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores were not significantly different between the two groups before management. After management, SAS and SDS scores decreased significantly in both groups, and were lower in the observation group compared with the control group. The management satisfaction was also significantly higher in the observation group. CONCLUSION: Compared with the conventional continuation care model, the whole-process management in primary hospitals can improve patients' compliance with medical advice and treatment efficacy, with lower risk of bleeding and higher patient satisfaction, providing a better option for the out-of-hospital management of anticoagulation for non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients. Age, hypertension, diabetes, knowledge of warfarin anticoagulation and medication compliance were independent risk factors for the effect of warfarin anticoagulation in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.

RESUMO

Development of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is closely associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection. However, NPC occurs with a marked geographic and racial distribution, whereas EBV infection is ubiquitous in the world. This leads to a question whether certain subtypes of EBV have a greater potential to induce cell transformation. Latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) is an EBV-encoded oncogenic protein and its 30-bp deleted variant (del-LMP1) has been reported to be predominant in biopsies of NPC. We have assessed the polymorphism of LMP1 in 47 biopsies of NPC, 107 cases of throat washings (TWs) from NPC patients, and 106 cases of TWs from non-NPC patients in Guangzhou, an endemic area of NPC in southern China, as well as 103 cases of TWs from healthy donors in Haerbin, a non-endemic area of NPC in northern China. Our results found a similar extent of the LMP1 polymorphism between NPC patients and non-NPC patients in Guangzhou, with the del-LMP1 being predominant in both Guangzhou and Haerbin. Sequence analyses showed identical substitutions in other coding regions of the del-LMP1 isolated from Guangzhou and Haerbin. These results indicate that del-LMP1 represents a geographic or race-associated polymorphism rather than an NPC disease phenotype-associated polymorphism.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES: The latent membrane protein gene (LMP) of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) was thought to play an important role in the carcinogenesis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). In this study, the authors investigated the effects of antisense RNA (AsRNA) on LMP for down regulating at the target gene over expression in EBV transformed lymphoid cells, and set up an antisense system to inhibit LMP expression. METHODS: Constructing the single strand antisense transcription system in vitro, the authors have got large amount of AsRNA. Designing and setting up an antisense tracing system in situ (ATSIS), the authors could observe the living particles of AsRNA/sense RNA duplex dimer. With time lapse phase-contrast microscopy, the agglutination phenotype on living cells was easily detected by MTT test, the inhibition rate on EBV transformed cells was calculated. RESULTS: LMP 1.9 fragment ligated into pGEM vector in reverse orientation have been constructed and produced a plentiful amount of AsLMPmRNA which could incorporated into both B95-8 and C1936 cell lines by endophagocytosis and formed the duplex dimer of As/Sense RNA. This particles have been visualized in situ when labelling 35S isotope by ATSIS. When AsLMPmRNA acted as agents for specific inhibition to LMP over expression, the transform phenotype of cell agglutination have been suppressed and MTT particle formatin was apparently reduced both two EBV tansformed cell lines. CONCLUSION: AsLMPmRNA targets at sense strand have a high effectiveness of down-regulation on EBV-LMP overexpression. This down regulating function of LMP and growth inhibition on transformed cell is demonstrated by the antisenes tracing system in situ (ATSIS). The results provide a clue to overcome the latent EBV infection in human bodies all living long time and to prevent it inducing NPC in high incidence area by antisense strategies.
