RESUMO

In pursuit of enhancing the display performance of gamut extension algorithms across diverse image types while minimizing image dependency, this study introduces a dynamic gamut extension algorithm. The algorithm is designed to extend the sRGB source gamut towards the wide gamut of a laser display. To evaluate its effectiveness, psychophysical experiments were conducted using four distinct image categories: complexions, scenery, objects, and color blocks and bars. The performance of the proposed algorithm was benchmarked against four established color gamut mapping algorithms. The comparative analysis revealed that our algorithm excels in handling wide color gamuts, outperforming the alternatives in terms of preference and the preservation of detail richness.

RESUMO

Holographic optical elements (HOEs) play an important role in augmented reality (AR) systems. However, the fabrication of full-color HOEs is difficult and the diffraction efficiency is low. In this paper, we use the time-scheduled iterative exposure method to fabricate full-color HOEs with high diffraction efficiency. Through this method, a full-color HOE with an average diffraction efficiency of 73.4% was implemented in a single photopolymer, the highest rate yet reported. In addition, the AR system is simulated by the geometric optics method combining k-vector circle and ray tracing and structured by combining laser micro-drop and high diffraction efficiency HOEs. A good color blending effect was achieved in a full-color AR system by using the reconstruction wavelength consistent with the recording light. It can present clear holographic images in a full-color AR display system.

RESUMO

This study explores the application of optical fiber lasers in display systems by integrating a P r3+-doped green all-fiber laser into a laser projection display system. As a control group to compare the results, a 520 nm semiconductor green laser diode module was integrated, similar to the experimental group. The color gamut and speckle performances were studied and compared. The results showed that the experimental group performed slightly better in the color gamut volume. The speckle contrast decreased rapidly in the experimental group when power increased. To our knowledge, this is the first study to apply a fiber laser to a laser display system. The results shed light on developing laser display systems with fewer or no speckle reduction elements.

RESUMO

Cytochrome P450 (CYP) as a monooxygenase catalyzes the limiting-rate reaction in the oxidation pathway of Candida tropicalis (C. tropicalis). Two members of P450 gene CYPA16 and CYPA14 were isolated from C. tropicalis 1230 by cassette PCR method, based on cloning of the P450 partial gene. They are tandemly arranged on the chromosome, encoding the gene products of 522 and 540 amino acid residues respectively. The deduced amino acid sequences of CYPA14 and CYPA16 are identical to those of CYP52A14 and CYP52A16 respectively, and highly similar to those of CYP52A2 and CYP52A1 from C. tropicalis ATCC 750 respectively. Simultaneously, CYPA14 and CYPA16 from several dicarboxylic-acid-producing strains were also cloned, and some site-mutations were found in their sequence. CYPA14 and CYPA16 were expressed in the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain. It was shown that the recombinant P450 content of CYPA14 was lower than that of CYPA16, and part of them were denatured. Comparing to C. tropicalis 1230, no significant changes were observed in recombinant P450 contents of CYPA14 and CYPA16 from every dicarboxylic-acid-producing strain.

RESUMO

POX4 and POX5 were cloned from Candida tropicalis with a simple method. The sequencing results show differences of POX5 between strain 120 and strain pk233. The searching of these two sequences against the curreent collection of Pfam profile HMMS located regions that belong to known domain families. Secondary structure prediction shows that N-terminal secondary structure of PXP4 and PXP5 are homologous to that of pig liver medium-chain acyl-coA dehydrogenase. Thus, the N-terminal of PXP4 and PXP5 may be involved in FAD binding.
