RESUMO

Surface particulates collected from the workshop floors of three major e-waste recycling sites (Taizhou, Qingyuan, and Guiyu) in China were analyzed for tetrabromobisphenol A/S (TBBPA/S) and their derivatives to investigate the environmental pollution caused by e-waste recycling activities. Mean concentrations of total TBBPA/S analogs in surface particulates were 31,471-116,059 ng/g dry weight (dw). TBBPA, TBBPA-BGE, and TBBPA-BDBPE were the most frequently detected in particulates with average concentration ranges of 17,929-78,406, 5601-15,842, and 5929-21,383 ng/g dw, respectively. Meanwhile, TBBPA, TBBPA-BGE, and TBBPA-BDBPE were the most abundant TBBPA/S analogs, accounting for around 96% of the total. The composition profiles of TBBPA/S analogs differed significantly among three e-waste sites. Similarly, principal component analysis uncovered different pollution patterns among different sites. The discrepancy in the profiles of TBBPA/S analogs largely relied on the e-waste types recycled in different areas. E-waste recycling led to the release of TBBPA/S analogs, and TBBPA/S analogs produced differentiation during migration from source (surface particulates) to nearby soil. More researches are necessary to find a definite relationship between pollution status and e-waste types and study differentiation behavior of TBBPA/S analogs in migration and diffusion from source to environmental medium.

RESUMO

Long-term potentiation (LTP) in the hippocampus is the most studied form of synaptic plasticity. Temporal integration of synaptic inputs is essential in synaptic plasticity and is assumed to be achieved through Ca2+ signaling in neurons and astroglia. However, whether these two cell types play different roles in LTP remain unknown. Here, we found that through the integration of synaptic inputs, astrocyte inositol triphosphate (IP3) receptor type 2 (IP3R2)-dependent Ca2+ signaling was critical for late-phase LTP (L-LTP) but not early-phase LTP (E-LTP). Moreover, this process was mediated by astrocyte-derived brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). In contrast, neuron-derived BDNF was critical for both E-LTP and L-LTP. Importantly, the dynamic differences in BDNF secretion play a role in modulating distinct forms of LTP. Moreover, astrocyte- and neuron-derived BDNF exhibited different roles in memory. These observations enriched our knowledge of LTP and memory at the cellular level and implied distinct roles of astrocytes and neurons in information integration.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: The vesicoprostatic muscle (VPM) is a longitudinal smooth muscle that originates from the trigone of the bladder or the opening of the ureter and is involved in urination as part of the detrusor apron. We explored the effect of VPM reconstruction on immediate and early recovery of urinary continence in patients undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALP). PATIENTS AND METHODS: A total of 523 patients with localized prostate cancer were enrolled from June 2018 to June 2020. All patients were diagnosed in our department based on magnetic resonance imaging and pathological findings on prostate biopsy. After 1:1 propensity score matching, 105 patient pairs were matched. The study was approved by our institutional review board and all surgeries were performed by three experienced high-volume surgeons. Demographic data, total operation time, pathological outcomes, the urinary continence rates of the two groups at different times after RALP, and factors influencing postoperative urinary continence after RALP were recorded. Student's t test was used to compare continuous variables and the Pearson χ2 test to compare categorical variables. Logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors affecting immediate and early postoperative urinary control. RESULTS: VPM reconstruction promoted immediate and early recovery of urinary continence (immediate continence, 66.67 vs. 40.00%, P = 0.000; 3-month continence, 80.95 vs. 64.76%, P = 0.008). CONCLUSIONS: VPM reconstruction improved immediate and early urinary continence in patients who underwent RALP.

RESUMO

This study presents a convenient approach to the synthesis of indole- and benzofuran-based benzylic sulfones using unactivated alkynes containing aryl iodides and sodium sulfinates under visible light irradiation. The procedure involves a sequential series of dehalogenation, carbo-cyclization, and radical sulfonylation. Plausible insights into the reaction mechanism are derived from control experiments, leading to the proposal of a radical cascade reaction pathway.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The effect of working memory training (WM-T) has been found to transfer to emotional wellbeing, despite some debate on whether an affective component in training is necessary to achieve specific emotion-related benefits. These novel cognitive trainings have not yet been tested in highly anxious individuals, who have deficits in implicit and explicit emotional regulation and should be the potential beneficiaries of these trainings. METHODS: We designed two types of mobile phone-based training applications: (1) WMT and (2) an emotional working memory training (EWM-T) that comprised negative face distraction. Ninety-eight participants (33, WM-T; 35, EWM-T; 30, Control group) with high trait anxiety completed the 21-day intervention or placebo program and conducted pre- and post-test procedures, including questionnaires, emotional regulation and emotional Stroop tasks alongside electroencephalogram recording. Late positive potential (LPP) in emotion regulation task and P3 in the emotional Stroop task were adopted as neutral indicators for the explicit and implicit affective regulation/control processing. RESULTS: Those who had received training (WM-T and EWM-T) showed enhanced explicit regulation (indexed by reduced LPP during reappraisal) compared with the control. Besides, individuals in EWM-T showed reduced behavioral attention bias and a decline of P3 in response to negative faces in an emotional Stroop task. The altered neural indicators were correlated with corresponding behavior indexes that contributed to the anxiety alleviation. CONCLUSIONS: The general WM-T was effective in enhancing explicit emotional regulation, while training with emotional add-in further improved implicit emotional control. (E)WM-T shows potential as a beneficial intervention for the anxiety population.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: This study aimed to explore the appropriate location of renal tumors for retroperitoneal approach. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed 1040 patients with renal tumor who were treated at our institution from Janurary 2015 to June 2020 and had underwent retroperitoneal robotic assisted-laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (rRAPN). Clinical features and postoperative outcomes were evaluated. RESULTS: Patients with incomplete data were excluded, and we included 896 patients in total. The median tumor size was 3.0 (range: 0.8-10.0) cm. The median RENAL Nephrometry Score was 7 (range: 4-11), and the median PADUA Nephrometry Score was 8 (range: 6-14). The median surgical time was 120 min, and the median warm ischemia time was 18 min. The median estimated blood loss was 50 ml. The follow-up time was 20.2 (range: 12-69) months. The mean change of eGFR 1 year after operation was 14.6% ± 19.0% compared with preoperative estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). When compared the tumor at different locations, as superior or inferior pole, anterior of posterior face of kidney, there were no significant differences of intra- and post-operative outcomes such as surgical time, warm ischemia time, estimated blood loss, removal time of drainage tube and catheter, postoperative feeding time and hospital stay, and changes of eGFR one year after surgery. We also compared tumors at special locations as endophytic or exophytic, anterior of posterior hilus of kidney, there were no significant differences in surgical time, warm ischemia time, estimated blood loss and changes of eGFR. There was no significant difference in intraoperative features and postoperative outcomes when tumor larger than 4 cm was located at different positions of kidney. Though the surgical time was longer when BMI ≥ 28 (132.6 min vs. 122.5 min, p = 0.004), no significant differences were observed in warm ischemia time, estimated blood loss, changes in eGFR. Twenty-seven patients (3.0%) had tumor progression, including 8 (0.9%) recurrence, 19 (2.1%) metastasis, and 9 (1.0%) death. CONCLUSION: Retroperitoneal approach for RAPN has confirmed acceptable intra- and postoperative outcomes and suits for renal tumors of all different locations. Large tumor size and obesity are not contraindications for rRAPN.

RESUMO

Livestock production is greenhouse gas (GHG) emission intensive, and thus the increasing international trade of livestock products in recent decades has resulted in increased embodied emissions. Considering the varying emission intensity in production in different countries and the expected further increase in livestock product trade in the future, it becomes crucial to understand the spatial and temporal dynamics of such embodied GHG emissions for climate change mitigation in the livestock sector. In this study, we aimed to address such gaps and analyzed the spatiotemporal patterns and network characteristics of GHG emissions embodied in the international trade of seven major categories of livestock products among 228 world economies during 1986-2017. The results showed that the total volume of GHG emissions embodied in livestock product trade reached 92.0 MT in 2017, accounting for 2.6% of the total emissions from livestock production. Sheep meat has replaced cattle meat as the major contributor to embodied emissions. In 2017, the largest flows of embodied emissions were within Europe, followed by the flows from Oceania to Asia. The fluxes in intra-upper middle and intra-high-income economies accounted for most of the total embodied emissions. Although the global average emission intensity of livestock production declined in these four decades, the trade flows from high to low emission intensity economies increased, especially for cattle and sheep meat. This resulted in an overall increase of contribution from the global livestock trade in GHG emissions from the global livestock sector. Therefore, effective measures and policies must be designed from both consumption and production perspectives to ensure proper accounting of these embodied emissions and maximize the reduction potential for a sustainable food system transition.

RESUMO

A boy, aged 2 years and 5 months, had recurrent epistaxis, and the coagulation function examination showed that activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) was significantly prolonged. Further laboratory examinations showed that the prolonged APTT was not immediately corrected in the APTT correction test, with positive lupus anticoagulant and low prothrombin activity. The boy was diagnosed with hypoprothrombinemia-lupus anticoagulant syndrome. The condition was improved after treatment with glucocorticoid, immunoglobulin, and vitamin K1. The boy has been followed up for 6 months, and no epistaxis was observed. Prothrombin activity returned to normal, and lupus anticoagulant remained positive. This is a relatively rare disease, and for patients with bleeding symptoms and coagulation disorders, it is recommended to perform the tests such as APTT correction test, lupus anticoagulant testing, and coagulation factor dilution test, which can improve the detection rate of this disease, so as to achieve early diagnosis, provide rational treatment in the early stage, and improve the prognosis.

RESUMO

In the second near-infrared (NIR-II) biowindow, multimodal optical imaging-guided precise antitumor therapy is a novel strategy for high-efficiency tumor theranostics, however, the all-in-one dual NIR-II photoacoustic (NIR-II PA) and NIR-II fluorescence (NIR-II FL) nanoprobes have been rarely reported mainly due to the short of a simple and universal design approach. Herein, a NIR-II PA/NIR-II FL imaging-adjustable nanozyme (HSC-2) is designed and developed to guide precise photothermal-catalytic synergistic therapy. Based on the ionic liquids adsorption capacity, the electronic structure of zeolite nano-Beta (three dimensional 12-ring pore system and large surface area) can be turned from the indirect band gap to direct band gap via doping carbon in the framework, resulting in outstanding NIR-II FL emission characteristics. As the silicon etching reaction proceeds, HSC-2 shows superior dual-modal NIR-II PA/NIR-II FL imaging performance facilitated by the optimal silicon-to-carbon ratio, simultaneously ensuring efficient tumor photothermal therapy (PTT) in the NIR-II window. Impressively, the peroxidase-mimic activity of HSC-2 in the tumor microenvironment could be further remarkably enhanced by its photothermal effect, leading to excellent synergistic PTT/catalytic therapy. Moreover, the HSC-2 exhibits dual-enzyme activity, and its catalase-like property could effectively eliminate excessive ROS for protection of the normal cells.

RESUMO

Multi-modality cancer diagnosis techniques based on the second near-infrared window fluorescence (NIR-II FL, 1000-1700 nm) imaging have become the focus of research attention. For such multimodality probes, how to take advantage of the tumor microenvironments (TME) characteristics to better image diseases and combine efficient therapeutics to achieve theranostics is still a big challenge. Herein, a novel TME-activated nanosystem (FMSN-MnO2 -BCQ) employing degradable silica-based nanoplatform is designed, adjusting the ratio of intratumoral hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 )/glutathione (GSH) for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)/NIR-II FL imaging and self-reinforcing chemodynamic therapy (CDT). Innovative bovine serum albumin (BSA)-modified fusiform-like mesoporous silica nanoparticles (FMSN) is fabricated as a carrier for NIR-II small molecule (CQ4T) and MRI reporter MnO2 . Remarkably, the BSA modification helped to achieve the dual-functions of high biocompatibility and enhance NIR-II fluorescence. The FMSN-MnO2 -BCQ with FMSN framework featuring a stepwise degradability in tumor interior released MnO2 and BCQ nanoparticles. Through the specific degradation of MnO2 by the TME, the produced Mn2+ ions are effectively exerted Fenton-like activity to generate hydroxyl radical (•OH) from endogenous H2 O2 to eradicate tumor cells. More importantly, the GSH depletion due to the synergistic effect of tetrasulfide bond and MnO2 in turn induced the oxidative cytotoxicity for self-reinforcing CDT.

RESUMO

Pentraxin 3 is considered an important inflammatory marker is known to increase in patients with ischemic stroke, but the relationship between pentraxin 3 and intracerebral hemorrhage mortality is unclear. The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of pentraxin 3 in serum and its impact on prognosis in 307 patients with intracerebral hemorrhage. During the 5-year follow-up, the mortality rate of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage was 22.5%. The serum pentraxin 3 level of the brain-dead patients was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Logistic regression analysis indicated a high correlation between the pentraxin 3 level and the mortality rate 95% (hazard ratio: 3.671; confidence interval: 1.558-4.297). The receiver operating characteristic curve showed that pentraxin 3 (Area Under Curve = 0.801) had a higher diagnostic value than C-reactive protein (Area Under Curve = 0.701). The pentraxin 3 level increased significantly after intracerebral hemorrhage and has an important predictive value for a prognosis for intracerebral hemorrhage mortality.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to explore the impact of lymphadenectomy and umbilectomy on long-term survival and progression-free survival (PFS) of patients with urachal carcinoma. MATERIAL AND METHODS We performed a retrospective analysis of 39 patients with urachal carcinoma. Clinicopathologic outcomes were evaluated, and overall survival (OS) and PFS were assessed by Kaplan-Meier method and Cox regression analysis. RESULTS Thirty-four (87.2%) patients underwent partial cystectomy, and 3 (7.7%) patients underwent radical cystectomy with en bloc urachal resection. Eighteen (46.2%) patients underwent lymphadenectomy and 27 (69.2%) patients had umbilectomy. Multivariate analysis showed that tumor size (P=0.011), Mayo stage (P=0.012), and umbilectomy (P=0.007) were the independent prognostic factors for OS. The median overall survival time was 67 months. The differentiation degree of tumor (P=0.049), Mayo stage (P=0.004), and umbilectomy (P=0.046) were the independent prognostic factors for PFS. Lymph node resection was not a predictor of OS. Patients had poorer prognosis when the tumor invaded the entire wall, including the mucous layer, muscular layer, and serous layer of the bladder compared with those that invaded only the muscular layer (P=0.014). CONCLUSIONS Lymph node metastases and failure to undergo umbilectomy were the independent prognostic factors for OS and PFS. Lymph node resection was not a predictor of OS. Patients had poorer prognosis when the tumor invaded the entire wall of the bladder compared with those that invaded the muscular layer.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) has been widely applied in recent years; however, only a few studies are reported about long-term urinary continence after surgery. The present study aimed to examine the outcomes of continence rates (CRs) and determine the risk and protective factors of urinary continence in patients with prostate cancer (PCa) undergoing RARP. METHODS: This retrospective study included 650 patients treated with RARP with perioperative data and at least one year of follow-up from September 2009 to November 2017. Also, the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative parameters of the patients were analyzed. Continence was defined as no pad use. Early and late continence was defined as the return of urinary continence within 3 months and beyond 12 months post-surgery, respectively. CRs were examined from 1 to 48 months postoperatively. Logistic regression analysis evaluated the association between the predictive factors and urinary continence in the early and late stages. RESULTS: No significant difference was detected in the CR from 12 to 48 months postoperatively (P = 0.766). Logistic regression analysis proved that pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) was a significant risk factor of urinary continence at 1 month. Nerve-sparing (NS) was a significant protective factor of urinary continence at 1, 3, and 6 months. Advanced age was an independent risk factor of urinary continence at 6, 12, and 24 months. Other variables were not statistically significant predictors of urinary continence. CONCLUSIONS: The current results demonstrated that CR gradually improved with time within 1 year and stabilized 1 year after the surgery. PLND, NS, and age were significant determinants of continence in the early and late stages, respectively. These parameters could be used for preoperative identification of patients at high risk and counseling about postoperative expectations for urinary continence.

RESUMO

Fugitive road dust (FRD) particles emitted by traffic-generated turbulence are an important contributor to urban ambient fine particulate matter (PM2.5). Especially in urban areas of developing countries, FRD PM2.5 emissions are a serious environmental threat to air quality and public health. FRD PM2.5 emissions have been neglected or substantially underestimated in previous study, resulting in the underestimation of modeling PM concentrations and estimating their health impacts. This study constructed the FRD PM2.5 emissions inventory in a major inland city in China (Lanzhou) in 2017 at high-resolution (500 × 500 m2), investigated the spatiotemporal characteristics of the FRD emissions in different urban function zones, and quantified their health impacts. The FRD PM2.5 emission was approximately 1141 ± 71 kg d-1, accounting for 24.6% of total PM2.5 emission in urban Lanzhou. Spatially, high emissions exceeding 3 × 104 µg m-2 d-1 occurred over areas with smaller particle sizes, larger traffic intensities, and more frequent construction activities. The estimated premature mortality burden induced by FRD PM2.5 exposure was 234.5 deaths in Lanzhou in 2017. Reducing FRD emissions are an important step forward to protect public health in many developing urban regions.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND/AIMS: Renal reperfusion injury occurs after the blood flow to the ischemic kidney is re-established under various clinical conditions, such as organ transplantation, renal artery stenosis, embolic disease, and the repair of descending aortic. The current study aims to explore the effects of src homology 2 domain-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase 2 (SHP-2) on the release of inflammatory cytokines and the apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells by regulating the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway in rats with renal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. METHODS: A total of 60 normal clean Sprague Dawley (SD) (WT) rats were used in this study. The levels of creatinine (Cr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were determined using an automatic biochemical analyzer. The apoptosis in renal tissue was detected by TUNEL assay. The renal tubular epithelial cells of rats were cultured, infected and treated with different lentivirus vectors. The serum levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), IL-1ß and SHP27 were measured. Reverse transcription quantitative polymerases chain reaction and Western blot analysis were performed to measure the expression of relevant genes and proteins. Furthermore, the effect of SHP-2 on the proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells was also investigated. RESULTS: In the serum of rats with renal I/R injury and prolonged reperfusion time, the contents of Cr and BUN were increased, the positive expression of SHP-2 was higher, the level of apoptosis was promoted, IL-6, TNF-α, IL-1ß and SHP27 expression in the serum was increased, the expression of SHP2, TLR4, NF-κB, IL-6, TNF-α and Bax was up-regulated, and the expression of Bcl-2 was down-regulated. Lentivirus-mediated silencing of SHP-2 promoted the proliferation of renal tubular epithelial cells, inhibited their apoptosis, and reduced the expression of inflammatory factors in these cells by functionally suppressing the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway. CONCLUSION: The results indicated that lentivirus-mediated silencing of SHP-2 inhibited the release of inflammatory cytokines and the apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells, and promoted the proliferation of these cells by inhibiting the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway in rats with renal I/R injury.

RESUMO

Krüppel-like factor 4 (KLF4) is a transcription factor involved in both tumor suppression and oncogenesis as a transcriptional activator or repressor in a context-dependent manner. KLF4 acts as a regulator of p53 depending on p21 status in breast cancer. However, the mechanisms underlying the distinct role of KLF4 remain poorly understood. Here, we revealed that p21 depletion converted KLF4 from a cell cycle inhibitor to a promoter of bladder cancer cell proliferation. Additionally, KLF4 was acetylated in a p21-dependent manner to inhibit bladder cancer cell growth as a tumor suppressor. However, deacetylated KLF4 functioned as an oncogene promoting bladder cancer cell proliferation. Mechanistically, p21 and CK2 interaction, but not CK2 alone, enhanced HDAC2 phosphorylation and restricted KLF4 deacetylation and subsequent tumor promotion. Furthermore, we observed that KLF4 was acetylated by CBP/p300 and that overexpression of CBP resulted in KLF4 acetylation and tumor suppression even in p21-depleted bladder cancer cells. Moreover, we discovered that Notch-1 knockdown-induced KLF4 is acetylated form of KLF4, which may mediate Notch-1 function in bladder cancer cell proliferation. Our data demonstrate that KLF4 acts as a tumor suppressor or oncogene to activate or repress target gene transcription depending on its acetylation status, which is regulated by p21 and CK2 interaction-mediated HDAC2 phosphorylation. Targeting KLF4 at the post-transcriptional levels may provide novel insight for bladder cancer therapy.

RESUMO

Okra is a widely distributed crop in the tropics, subtropics, and warmer areas of the temperate zones. Its major potential uses as a vegetable, oil and protein source, and source of paper pulp and fuel, or biomass are compatible. It is expected to have high value of exploitation and application. Due to the limited number of molecular studies focused on okras, the methods of morphological and ISSR markers were used to analysis the genetic diversity of 48 okras in the present study. The 22 primers were picked for ISSR-PCR, and a total of 154 fragments were amplified with an overall average polymorphism of 54.55 %. We used the 154 markers to construct the dendrogram based on the unweighted pair group method with arithmetic means (UPGMA). A high level of genetic diversity was found among 48 individuals. The 48 Okras was divided into four clusters at Dice's coefficient of 0.19 with clustering analysis. Based on these data of the genetic diversity, it will be possible to exploit the available resources of okra in more valuable ways.

RESUMO

The rapid growth in the portion of the aging population has led to a consequent increase in demand for biomedical hydrogels, together with an assortment of challenges that need to be overcome in this field. Smart hydrogels can autonomously sense and respond to the physiological/pathological changes of the tissue microenvironment and continuously adapt the response according to the dynamic spatiotemporal shifts in conditions. This along with other favorable properties, make smart hydrogels excellent materials for employing toward improving the precision of treatment for age-related diseases. The key factor during the smart hydrogel design is on accurately identifying the characteristics of natural tissues and faithfully replicating the composition, structure, and biological functions of these tissues at the molecular level. Such hydrogels can accurately sense distinct physiological and external factors such as temperature and biologically active molecules, so they may in turn actively and promptly adjust their response, by regulating their own biological effects, thereby promoting damaged tissue repair. This review summarizes the design strategies employed in the creation of smart hydrogels, their response mechanisms, as well as their applications in field of tissue engineering; and concludes by briefly discussing the relevant challenges and future prospects.

RESUMO

Selectively producing a variety of valuable compounds using controlled chemical reactions starting from a common material is an appealing yet complex concept. Herein, a photocatalytic approach for the selective synthesis of (E)-ß-aminovinyl sulfones and (E)-ß-amidovinyl sulfones from allenamides and sodium sulfinates was established. This reaction exhibits the traits of an eco-friendly solvent and adjustable amide cleavage, and can accommodate a diverse range of substrates with exceptional functional group tolerance. Based on control experiments and deuterium labeling experiments, a plausible radical reaction pathway is proposed.

RESUMO

In the 21st century, the tension between economic growth, resources and the environment in countries around the world is increasing, and the sustainable development of the economy and society is under great pressure. Green development has become the only way for countries to promote sustainable development. Generally, capitalist countries achieve their green development goals through increasingly strict environmental protection regulations, technological upgrading, industrial upgrading and global transfer based on market mechanisms and legal environments. Evidently, this green development strategy relies on the core position of Western countries in the global technological leadership and the global division of labor. However, limited in terms of their economic strength and by technical barriers, how can developing countries, led by China, in the marginal position in the global market competition, carry out green development transformation? In line with the "high-quality development" strategy, governments at all levels in China are actively exploring green development strategies with their own characteristics. Based on the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research and the face-to-face interview method, this paper summarizes a new strategy of systematic government-driven green development combining internal and external factors in the underdeveloped areas of inland China, which has gradually formed in the Xining metropolitan area (XMA) in the past 20 years. This strategy has the following characteristics: Firstly, during the period of rapid growth, the XMA areas have promoted each other through new urbanization and new industrialization and jointly promoted the formation of a green development turn in the new era. Secondly, the government is the core actor and driving force of China's regional green development and has gradually formulated and implemented a series of policy systems during this development. Restricted by local economic backwardness and low industrial profits, the implementation of green government policies tends to be mandatory. The majority of urban residents and rural people support this transformation because they have benefited from the transformation process. Thirdly, this green development strategy is reflected in many aspects, such as industry, ecology, the environment, space and transportation, and is part of a systematic, green-oriented transformation. Fourthly, the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics are the guarantee of the green development strategy. It is noteworthy that this kind of green development transformation requires a large amount of "additional" investment and the "rapid" upgrade of the industry. Therefore, it requires more time and the understanding and assistance of all sectors of society.
