RESUMO

Objective:To conduct a scoping review of mobile app-based weight management studies in patients with breast cancer.Methods:The studies related to weight management in patients with breast cancer based on mobile apps in nine Chinese and English databases, including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, EBSCOhost, Scopus, Sinomed, VIP database, Wanfang Database and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), were systematically searched with the terms of “breast cancer” “weight management” “mobile health” and “weight”. The search period was from the establishment of the databases to July 29, 2022. The literature was screened, and data were extracted and summarized based on the Omaha system.Results:A total of 7 literatures were included, all were in English. The mobile apps included in the studies varied with sample sizes, ranging from 10 to 356 cases. Six of the studies involved breast cancer patients who had completed surgery or chemoradiotherapy, and none of the studies involved breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Forms of intervention included exercise or diet alone and a combination of both exercise and diet, and most studies had shown good intervention effects. According to the Omaha intervention system, the most commonly extracted intervention component was self-management advice, which was offered to patients in six studies, and none of the intervention studies included intervention components related to case management.Conclusions:An intervention for weight management based on mobile apps in breast cancer patients has a good effect and is feasible. However, there is a limited number of related studies, and there is a lack of interventional research specifically targeting patients during chemotherapy, which still needs to be actively carried out.

This article systematically analyzes the historical evolution of the origin, scientific name, medicinal parts, quality evaluation, harvesting and processing and other aspects of Tsaoko Fructus by consulting ancient materia medica, medical books, prescription books in the past dynasties and combining with the modern literature, so as to provide a basis for the development and utilization of famous classical formulas containing Tsaoko Fructus. According to the research, the name of Caoguo(草果) was first used in the Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang(《太平惠民和剂局方》) in the Northern Song dynasty, Tsaoko Fructus is the correct name of the herbal medicine in all dynasties, and there are also aliases such as Caokou, Doukou, Loukou, Laokou and Caodoukou. The mainstream source of Tsaoko Fructus used in the past dynasties is the dried mature fruit of Amomum tsaoko of Zingiberaceae, but Tsaoko Fructus was often used as a nickname for Amomi Fructus Rotundus or Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen during the Song dynasty. Bencao Pinhui Jingyao(《本草品汇精要》) in the Ming dynasty was the earliest materia medica that recorded Tsaoko Fructus as a separate medicinal herb in sections. Under the influence of early ancient books, there were some books that confused Tsaoko Fructus with other Zingiberaceae plants during the Qing dynasty, it was not until modern times that Tsaoko Fructus was distinguished from other plants. The origin of Tsaoko Fructus is Yunnan and Guangxi, and then gradually expanded to Guizhou and other places. Now Yunnan is the province with the largest planting area of Tsaoko Fructus, and has become the main producing area. Since modern times, it has been recorded in the literature that the quality of Tsaoko Fructus is mainly characterized by large, full, red-brown and strong in smell. According to ancient records, the harvest time of Tsaoko Fructus was in the eighth month of the lunar calendar, and they were mostly used for peeling or simmering. Currently, the harvest period of Tsaoko Fructus is October to November, and then sun-dried or dried after harvesting. The records of the properties and functional indications of Tsaoko Fructus are basically consistent with the ancient and modern documents, which is warm in nature, pungent in flavor, belonging to the spleen and stomach meridians, moderate in dryness and dampness, intercepting malaria and eliminating phlegm, used for internal resistance of cold and dampness, abdominal distension and pain, fullness and vomiting, malaria cold and fever, and plague fever. Based on the research results, it is suggested that A. tsaoko should be used as the medicinal base for the development of famous classical formulas containing Tsaoko Fructus, processing method can be according to the requirements of the prescription, and if the requirements of concoction are not indicated, it can be used in the form of raw products.

In this paper, the name, origin, quality evaluation, producing area and processing methods of Lablab Semen Album in the famous classical formulas were researched by reviewing the ancient materia medica, medical books, prescription books and modern literature. The results showed that the name of Lablab Semen Album in the past dynasties was mostly derived from its shape and color, called Biandou and Baibiandou. The mainstream origin used in the past dynasties was Lablab purpureus, the medicinal parts were mainly white mature seeds, with the addition of the leaves in the Song dynasty and the flowers in the Ming dynasty. Since modern times, the authentic producing areas of Lablab Semen Album are Suzhou, Zhejiang and other places, and now mainly produced in Chuxiong and Xinping, Yunnan and Panzhihua, Sichuan. The traditional quality evaluation of Lablab Semen Album is evaluated as large, solid, full and white. The harvesting time of this herb is recorded from the eighth to the ninth lunar month in related literature, the pods are picked when the seeds are ripe, and the seeds are dried in the sun. In ancient times, the processing of Lablab Semen Album mainly consisted of frying the seeds with skin and then pulverizing for use, or soaking and peeling seeds for raw use. Based on the conclusion of the textual research, it is recommended that the seeds or flowers of the white flowering plants of L. purpureus, a member of the leguminosae, should be used in the famous classical formulas, and the dried seeds or dried flowers of Lablab Semen Album can be used as medicine if the formula did not clearly indicate processing requirements.

In the online teaching of Biochemistry course, a variety of network resource platforms (such as Zhihuishu learning network, teleconference, WeChat, QQ, etc) were used to establish a learning community. The teaching content and teaching plan were carefully designed and implemented, enriching the knowledge system of the learning community. And then blending teaching was performed through the combination of live broadcasting and online interaction. In addition to teaching students the basic knowledge of biochemistry, it is also combined with clinical cases and life examples to interact and discuss with students in various forms, giving full play to the advantages of learning community and improving the quality and effect of online learning.

The prevalence and recurrence rate of depressive disorder are high, while the recognition and cure rate are low. Early intervention can improve the quality of life of patients with depression. In clinical practice, it has been found that psychological treatments can effectively improve the symptoms and prognosis of depression.Cognitive behavior therapy(CBT) has been widely used in the treatment of depression, however, its mechanisms are still unclear. In this paper, the neuroimaging studies of patients with depression before and after CBT were summarized, and the structural or functional changes of different brain regions in patients with depression before and after CBT were described. The findings suggest that CBT improved depressive symptoms by increasing gray matter volume, activation level, and functional connectivity strength in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, reducing activation levels in the amygdala and parahippocampal gyrus, and restoring abnormal brain network activity or functional connectivity. Larger gray matter volume in anterior cingulate gyrus and higher activation levels in hippocampus and amygdala before treatment can effectively predict the effect of CBT in depressed patients. In the future, machine learning could be combined with brain imaging data to more accurately predict the effectiveness of CBT in treating depression.

RESUMO

Esophageal cancer (EC) is one of the most fatal cancers worldwide. According to GLOBOCAN 2020, it was estimated that there were 600, 000 new EC cases and 540 000 EC deaths, while nearly half of all newly diagnosed cases of EC and associated deaths worldwide occurred in China. The annual incidence and mortality of EC have been reduced in the last 20 years in China. However, the early symptoms and signs of EC are not easily distinguished and the disease tends to be within the middle and late stage of pathogenesis when identified, leading to its low 5-year survival rate. Therefore, it could help effectively reduce the burden of EC by clarifying its etiology and risk factors, as well as taking preventive and early diagnosis measures. This article reviews the epidemiology, etiology, screening and early diagnosis of EC in China, to provide systematic references for EC prevention and control.

Abstract@#To explore the association between a digital lifestyle and digital eye strain among adolescents, the present study analyses that a digital lifestyle has direct, mediating and moderating effects on digital eye strain of adolescents, and explores that visual load, attention and cognitive load are identified as the associated mechanisms of digital eye strain. In terms of management, the article highlights the need to raise awareness and promote healthy behavior in respect to the use of digital devices, as well as the importance of diversifying lifestyles, ensuring family and school support, and engaging in multidisciplinary cooperation to promote visual health and digital literacy among adolescents.

Objective To observe the effects of serum containing Jinghou Zengzhi Recipe (JHZZ) on the expression of growth differentiation factor 9 (GDF9) and Bim in cumulus-oocyte complexes (COCs) and cumulus cells (CCs) of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) rats,and to investigate its curative effect and mechanism.Methods The rat COH ovarian model was prepared for collecting COCs and CCs,which were respectively co-cultured in vitro with the blank serum of female COH SD rat and serum containing JHZZ,and the each group was divided into 3 subgroups:the blank serum group (blank group),serum containing JHZZ group (control group) and serum containing JHZZ plus GDF9 receptor blocker group (experimental group),total 6 subgroups.COCs and CCs were collected after 24 h.The expression levels of GDF9 and Bim mRNA were detected by real-time quantitative PCR.The GDF9 protein expression levels were detected by Western blot.Results (1) The expression level of GDF9 mRNA in control group COCs was obviously higher than that in the control group and experiment group COCs (P<0.05);the Bim mRNA expression level in COCs of control group and experiment group was significantly lower than that in COCs of blank group (P< 0.05);the GDF9 protein expression level in the control group COCs was significantly higher than that in the blank group COCs (P<0.05),and also higher than that in the experiment group COCs,but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).(2)The comparison results of GDF9 mRNA expression level in CCs among 3 groups were consistent with those in COCs;the Bim mRNA expression level in CCs of control group and experimental group was significantly lower than that in the blank group (P< 0.05);the Bim mRNA expression level in the control group CCs was significantly lower than that in the experimental group CCs (P<0.05);the GDF9 protein expression level in the control group CCs was significantly higher than that in the blank group and experimental group CCs (P<0.05).(3)The GDF9 mRNA expression level in the control group COCs was significantly higher than that in CCs (P<0.05),and the other inter-group comparisons between COSs and CCs had no statistical difference (P>0.05).Conclusion Serum containing JHZZ can increase the GDF9 expression level in COCs and CCs,maintain the low expression of Bim in COCs and CCs,inhibit the ovarian cells apoptosis and promote the follicular development;COCs is more conducive to the expression of GDF9 mRNA compared with CCs eliminating oocyte.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the Yiqixue Buganshen Recipe(YBR)on the level of serum VEGF in high-risk patients with OHSS. Method 298 infertile women with high-risk OHSS in the reproductive centre of our hospital from June to November ,2016 were enrolled into the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) group (n = 148) and the control group(n = 150). 145 infertile women without high-risk OHSS were enrolled into the normal group. All the patients received the long protocol treatment ,and patients in the TCM group received the YBR treatment. Results Patients have higher quality embryo rate ,lower moderate and more severe OHSS rate in the TCM group compared with the control group(P<0.05). Patients in the normal group have lower serum VEGF compared with patients in the other 2 groups on the all three days. Patients in the TCM group has lower serum VEGF on the day of embryo transfer compared with patients in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusions The increment of the serum VEGF level is closely related to OHSS. The YBR may reduce the rate of moderate and severe OHSS by reducing the serum VEGF level on the day of embryo transfer ,which may prevent the moderate and severe OHSS of the high-risk patients.

Objective To explore the expression level of OTUB1 and its clinical significance in breast cancer.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression level of OTUB1 in 78 cases of breast cancer tissues and 30 cases of normal breast tissue adjacent to carcinoma,and the relationships between OTUB1 and the clinical pathological features of breast cancer were analyzed.Results The positive expression rate of OTUB1 in breast cancer tissues [66.7% (52/78)] was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal breast tissues [30.0% (9/30)],with a statistically significant difference (x2 =11.851,P =0.001).OTUB1 expression level was related to the lymph node metastasis (x2 =5.029,P =0.025),postoperative TNM staging (x2 =4.478,P =0.034),expression of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2) (x2 =8.775,P =0.003),expression of P53 (x2 =4.708,P =0.030),expression of estrogen receptor (ER) (x2 =10.364,P =0.001) and molecular subtypes (x2 =10.934,P =0.012).However,OTUB1 expression level in breast cancer was not related to the age (x2 =2.194,P =0.139),menopausal status (x2 =1.843,P =0.175),tumor size (x2 =0.643,P =0.423),histological grade (x2 =3.580,P =0.167),expression of progestin receptor (PR) (x2 =3.371,P =0.066) and expression of Ki-67 (x2 =1.345,P =0.246).Conclusion OTUB1 expression level increases in breast cancer,which is associated with the lymph node metastasis,TNM staging,expressions of HER-2,P53,ER and molecular subtypes of breast cancer.It suggests that the expression of OTUB1 is related to the progression and metastasis of breast cancer.

Objective To detect the transcription factors of copper ion (Cu,2+) metabolism and oxidative stress by Candida albicans knocked down different transcription factors.Methods Spot assay, growth curve were used.Results The sensitivity to Cu,2+ in Cup2Δ/Δ was increasing and the growth of Cup2Δ/Δ was inhibited in 5 mmol /L Cu,2+ medium.The results showed that Cup2Δ/Δ also increased the sensitivity to H2O2, interestingly, Cu,2+and H2O2 played a synergistic antifungal effect.The tolerance of Cup2Δ/Δ and SN250 to H2O2 induced oxidative stress was increased after BCS chelating Cu,2+.In the fluconazole, miconazole and ketoconazole susceptibility experiments, Cup2Δ/Δ did not show susceptibility to azole drugs.Conclusion Knockout transcription factor Cup2, which could increase the sensitivity to Cu,2+ and H2O2in Candida albicans.Transcription factor Cup2 might be involved in the regulation and control of Candida albicansmetabolism on Cu,2+ and oxidative stress induced by H2O2, but not involved in the regulation and control of drug resistance to azole drugs.

Objective To assess the effects of Jinghou Zengzhi Recipe(JHZZR),a Chinese prescription with the action of tonifying Qi and blood ,on the ovary apoptosis and expression of Bim in ovarian granulosa cells (GCs) of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation(COH) rats , and analyze the possible therapeutic mechanism. Methods A model of COH rats were prepaered and 30 female SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups , including control group,positive control group,low,medium and high concentration group in six rats in each group. The apoptosis index(AI)in ovarian GCs were detected by TUNEL ,and the expression of Bim by qPCR. Results The AI of ovarian GCs in high and medium concentration group were obviously lower(P 0.05)comparing with control group. The mRNA levels of Bim were lower(P0.05)during the three concentration groups in Bim mRNA. Conclusion JHZZR can inhibit the ovarian GCs apoptosis of COH rats through decreasing the expression of Bim mRNA ,which improve the quality of ovarian follicle.

Four planktonic species of Difflugia co-occurring in a south Chinese reservoir were found to be carnivorous, but the diet was widest in the largest species (D. tuberspinifera) and narrowest in the smallest (D. hydrostatica). It included rotifers, ciliates, dinoflagellates, floating eggs, and small particles associated with organic debris. Scavenging and cannibalism were also observed. Species with a collared test (D. biwae, D. mulanensis) showed a form of suction-feeding, while species with teeth on the pseudostome used these, together with their pseudopods, as "inverted crown corks", providing leverage for opening the lorica of their (rotifer) prey. Predators of Difflugia included cyclopoid copepods. In addition, the rotifers Asplanchna priodonta, Ploesoma hudsoni and, occasionally, big ciliates (Stentor sp.) all ingested their prey as a whole.

RESUMO

Objective To observe the effect of Yiqixue Buganshen Recipes(YBR), the compound recipes of Chinese herbal medicine with the actions of replenishing Qi and blood and tonifying liver and kidney, on the endometrial integrin β3 of the mice with embryo implantation dysfunction, and to explore the molecular mechanism of YBR in improving embryo implantation. Methods Ninety mice were divided normal group, model group, and YBR group, 30 mice in each group. YBR group was given Jinghou Zengzhi granules 8mg/kg for promoting post-menstruation proliferation and Cuhuangti granules 8mg/kg for promoting the formation of corpora luteum. At 8∶00 am of pregnant day 4 (Pd4), subcutaneous injection of mifepristone was used for inducing embryo implantation dysfunction in the model group and YBR group. Twenty mice from each group were executed 12 hours after subcutaneous injection of mifepristone, and the uterus was isolated for the detection of mice endometrial integrin β3 mRNA and protein expression with real-time RT-PCR and Western blotting method respectively. Ten mice from each group at Pd4 were executed, and the uterus was isolated and then fixed in 2.5% glutaraldehyde solution for the detection of the formation of pinopode in mice endometrium under scanning electron microscope. Results The detection by real-time PCR and Western blotting method revealed that integrinβ3 mRNA and protein expression levels of the model group were significantly lower than those of the normal group (P<0.05), and YBR group had higher integrin β3 mRNA and protein expression levels than the model group(P<0.05). The formation of pinopodes in the model group was less than the normal group and YBR group, but the number of formed pinopodes in YBR group was similar to that in the normal group. Conclusion YBR can up-regulate the expression of integrin β3 in the endometrium of mice with embryo implantation dysfunction, and have positive regulatory effect on the formation of pinopodes on Pd4.

In recent years, infrared spectroscopy (IR) caught the attention due to its advantages of convenient, fast, nondestructive and pollutionfree for simultaneous determination of multiponents. This article reviewed the application of mid-IR and near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) in the authentic identification, quantitative analysis on active components, quality control on Chinese patent medicine, and detections on production process of Chinese herbal medicine both at home and abroad. Along with the IR technique and its related theoretical development, IR has a broad development prospect in Chinese medicine research field.

Objective To find out the general status about the traditional Chinese medicine therapies that were included into medicare among the selected hospitals in the country's public hospital reform project, and to investigate the reasons for those not included and make recommendations.Methods Collecting relevant information through questionnaires, experts interviews and discussions.Results There are still some TCM therapies not included into the range of reimbursement.Most Of them are external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, massage, special treatments of traditional Chinese medicine and comprehensive therapies of TCM.Conclusions The establishment of negotiations department about medicare in the field of traditional Chinese medicine was needed.Medicare should be in favor of TCM therapies, and traditional Chinese medicine hospitals should strengthen training of personnel and hiring.At the same time, a reasonable increase of the proportion of TCM experts involved in the making health insurance directory was needed.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the distribution of β3-adrenergic receptors (ADRβ3) gene polymorphisms (rs2298423 and rs6986132) and its association with serum lipid in Han and Uighur populations in Xinjiang.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Genotypes of the ADR β 3 gene were detected in 362 Uighur and 653 Han healthy individuals who were randomly selected in Xinjiang by real-time PCR (TaqMan) method.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>1) Frequencies of TT, GT and GG genotypes of the rs2298423 locus were 76.5%, 22.1% and 1.4% in the Uighurs but 74.7%, 23.3% and 2.0% in the Hans. There was no significant difference noticed in distribution of genotypes between the two populations (P = 0.695). 2) Frequencies of GG, AG and AA genotypes of the rs6986132 locus were 81.5%, 16.6% and 1.9% in Uighurs but 59.6%, 33.7% and 6.7% in Hans. There was significant difference noticed in the distribution of genotypes between the two populations (P < 0.001). 3) Total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol levels were significantly higher in GG or GT genotypes than in the TT genotype carriers of rs2298423 in the Uighur individuals (P < 0.01), but not in the Han population. Serum lipid level that including total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoproteins cholesterol (LDL-C), triglyceride and high density lipoproteins cholesterol did not show significant differences in the distribution of rs6986132 genotypes between the two populations (P > 0.05). After adjusting for factors as gender, age, height, weight, waist circumference, blood urea nitrogen, creatin, glucose, triglyceride, smoking, drinking, results from the logistic regression analyses revealed that those individuals who were carrying GG or GT genotype of rs2298423 were expected to face an increased risk for total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol level than those individuals that carrying TT genotype in Uighur populations (OR = 3.140, 95% CI: 1.270-7.764, P = 0.013 in TC level; OR = 3.818, 95% CI: 1.761-8.280, P = 0.001 in LDL-C level). 4) The T-G haplotype appeared more frequent in the Uighurs while the T-A haplotype was more commonly seen in the Han population, respectively (both P < 0.001).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The mutational frequencies of the tagging SNPs in rs2298423 and rs6986132 loci of the ADRβ 3 gene presented obvious differences between Han and Uighur populations of Xinjiang. G allele carriers of rs2298423 seemed to face an increased risk for TC and LDL-C level in the Uighur populations in Xinjiang.</p>

<p><b>BACKGROUND</b>Nowadays, there are published trials in regards to the comparison of caspofungin with liposomal amphotericin B (L-AmB). However, these studies have a modest sample size and convey inconclusive results. The aim of this study was to review the efficacy and safety of caspofungin for the treatment of invasive fungal infections (IFIs), compared with L-AmB.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Electronic databases (up to July 31, 2013) PubMed and Embase databases, the Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar were searched to identify relevant trials of caspofungin and L-AmB. Analyses of efficacy and adverse outcomes were performed by relative risks (RRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Heterogeneity was assessed by χ(2)-test and the I(2)-statistic.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Three trials were included in this meta-analysis with 1249 modified intention-to-treat (MITT) patients. The results showed that caspofungin produced equal efficacy in favorable overall response (RR = 1.02, 95% CI 0.88-1.18; P = 0.81) and mortality rate (RR = 1.53, 95% CI 0.38-6.27, P = 0.55), safer in clinical adverse events (RR = 0.20, 95% CI 0.08-0.54; P = 0.001), laboratory adverse events (RR = 0.69, 95% CI 0. 57-0.84; P = 0.0002), and discontinuation rate (RR = 0.26, 95% CI 0.08-0.83, P = 0.02), compared with L-AmB in the treatment of patients with IFIs.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Based on the results of this meta-analysis, it would appear that caspofungin was measured to have equal efficacy in clinical outcomes and safer in terms of adverse events.</p>

RESUMO

Objective To construct and express a prokaryotic expression vector carrying the gene of FimH 1-156 that comprises human lysosome membrane protein 2 P41-49 gene ,and to express and purify the fusion protein .Methods FimH1-156 gene was cloned from plasmid pPKL241 by PCR ,and inserted into vector pET-28a(+ ) to obtain prokaryotic expression plasmid pET-28a-FimH . After transforming Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) with pET-28a-FimH ,fusion protein FimH1-156 was expressed under induction .The target fusion protein was purified ,and its antigenicity was detected through Western blot .Results The expressed recombinant pro-tein was purified ,the expression of protein was the highest when IPTG was 1 mmol/L and 4h after induction ,it was expressed as include body form ,and the expressed protein was identified to react with monoclonal antibodies 6 × His by Western blotting .Conclu-sion We cloned FimH1-156 fusion protein expressed genes successfully ,constructed prokaryotic expression vector ,and won the in-clusion body purification of FimH1-156 fusion protein .
