RESUMO

The electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR) has emerged as a promising strategy for green ammonia synthesis. However, it suffers unsatisfactory reaction performance owing to the low aqueous solubility of N2 in aqueous solution, the high dissociation energy of N≡N, and the unavoidable competing hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Herein, a MIL-53(Fe)@TiO2 catalyst is designed and synthesized for highly efficient eNRR. Relative to simple MIL-53(Fe), MIL-53(Fe)@TiO2 achieves a 2-fold enhancement in the Faradaic efficiency (FE) with an improved ammonia yield rate by 76.5% at -0.1 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE). After four cycles of electrocatalysis, MIL-53(Fe)@TiO2 can maintain a good catalytic activity, while MIL-53(Fe) exhibits a significant decrease in the NH3 yield rate and FE by 79.8 and 82.3%, respectively. Benefiting from the synergetic effect between TiO2 and MIL-53(Fe) in the composites, Fe3+ ions can be greatly stabilized in MIL-53(Fe) during the eNRR process, which greatly hinders the catalyst deactivation caused by the electrochemical reduction of Fe3+ ions. Further, the charge transfer ability in the interface of composites can be improved, and thus, the eNRR activity is significantly boosted. These findings provide a promising insight into the preparation of efficient composite electrocatalysts.

RESUMO

INTRODUCTION: The aim of the study was to investigate the clinical characteristics, surgical treatment, and long-term efficacy of primary right heart tumors. METHODS: This study is retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 70 patients with primary right heart tumors admitted to our department between 1980 and 2022 (observation group) and 70 patients with left heart tumors during the same period (control group). The surgical treatment was performed under cardiopulmonary bypass after differential diagnosis by echocardiography, cardiac CTA, and PET-CT before the surgery. The perioperative characteristics, recurrence rate, and long-term survival rates of right heart tumor versus left heart tumor were compared. RESULTS: The most common pathological types of right heart tumors were myxoma (60%), lipoma (8.57%), and papillary elastofibroma (7.14%). During the perioperative period, there were 1 case of systemic embolism in the observation group, compared with 6 in the control group (p = 0.026), 13 cases of malignant tumor in the observation group versus 1 in the control group (p = 0.01). During the follow-up period, there were 15 cases of tumor recurrence and 17 cases of death in the observation group versus 4 (p = 0.002) and 7 in the control group (p = 0.006), comparatively. CONCLUSION: Compared with left heart tumors, primary right heart tumors had a higher incidence of malignant tumors and a lower risk of systemic embolism during perioperative period. During the follow-up period, primary right heart tumors had a higher rate of tumor recurrence and a lower long-term survival rate.

RESUMO

The China Student Nutrition Improvement Plan (SNIP) covers 40.6 million students in the compulsory education stage, accounting for 42% of all students enrolled in rural compulsory education in 2021. This paper utilizes the county-by-county rollout of the SNIP and estimates the effect of this nutritional intervention on students' cognitive outcomes. We find that SNIP increases math test scores but has a statistically insignificant effect on verbal achievement. The effect is greater for middle school students and children from disadvantaged families. The SNIP affects the cognitive performance of students by improving their health status, increasing school attendance, fostering good study habits, raising educational expectations, and improving the human capital of peers.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The health condition during childhood has been shown to influence an individual's health and socioeconomic status in adulthood. Understanding the concentration and persistence patterns in children's healthcare expenditures is crucial for providing risk protection and promoting the well-being of children. Studies regarding the concentration and persistence of health expenditures have focused mainly on elderly individuals in developed regions. To gain insights into factors that contribute to childhood health expenditures, this article examined children with high costs (that is, in the top 10% of the expenditure distribution) and explored the characteristics and spending patterns that distinguished them from other patients in the context of the largest developing economy-China. METHODS: By using a unique individual-level administrative claims dataset over a 5-year observation period, this study identified spending concentrations and the proportion of children whose costs remained high over five years using a linear probability model and logit regression analysis. RESULTS: Teenagers from 12 to 17 years old were more likely to persist in the high-cost group than any other age groups in the study. Pediatric complex chronic conditions and other severe health ailments were predictive factors for entry into and persistence in the high-cost category. More than half of the total health expenditures were attributed to children in the top 10% expenditure group. In addition, risk protection and healthcare insurance support for high-cost children was found to be inadequate, particularly for children from low-income families. CONCLUSIONS: Healthcare support for children impacts individual development and family financial status. This study described the characteristics and spending patterns of children patients in the largest developing country. The fact that over half of total expenditures are concentrated toward 10% of patients makes it valuable to consider relevant support for this group, especially for families whose medical costs are higher than income.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The objective of this study was to examine the relationship of mental health status between self-poisoning suicide patients and their family members, and it also sought to identify potential patient's risk and parental factors for the prediction of suicide attempt, anxiety, and depression. METHODS: In this study, 151 poisoned patients were prospectively included, and they were matched 1:1 with 151 family members. We gathered information on patient's and their matched family member's demographics, lifestyle choices, mental health status, level of intimacy, and history of psychiatry disease. The relationship of patient's and their family member's mental health state was investigated using a correlation matrix. Multivariable analyses (multiple logistic regression) were conducted among patients and their matched family members, to identify potential risk factors for self-poisoning suicide, anxiety, and depression. RESULTS: Of the total patients, 67.55% (102/151) attempted self-poisoning suicide. Poisoned patients had more severe anxiety and depression symptoms than their matched family members, and this difference was even more pronounced among patients with self-poisoning suicide. Generalized anxiety disorder-7 (GAD-7) score for family members was significantly and favorably correlated with patient's GAD-7 score after eliminating non-suicide patients and their matched family members. The patient health questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) score showed a similar pattern, and the family member's PHQ-9 score was strongly and favorably associated with patient's PHQ-9 and Beck hopelessness scale-20 (BHS-20) score. Multivariable analysis showed that married marital status (P = 0.038), quitting smoking (P = 0.003), sedentary time of 1 to 6 h (P = 0.013), and participation in a sports more than five times per week (P = 0.046) were all significantly associated with a lower risk of suicide by self-poisoning, while a more serious anxiety state (P = 0.001) was significantly associated with a higher risk of self-poisoning suicide. Multivariable analysis demonstrated that, specifically among self-poisoning suicide patients, married marital status (P = 0.011) and no history of psychiatry disease (P < 0.001) were protective factors for anxiety, while divorced or widowed marital status (P = 0.004), a sedentary time of 1 to 3 h (P = 0.022), and a higher monthly income (P = 0.027) were significant contributors to anxiety. The propensity of additional family-matched characteristics to predict patient's suicidality, anxiety, and depression was also examined. CONCLUSIONS: Self-poisoning suicide patients have severe mental health issues. Patients who self-poison have a close connection to their family member's mental health, particularly their levels of anxiety and depression. According to the findings, being married and adopting healthy lifestyle habits, such as quitting smoking and drinking, increasing their physical activity levels, and managing their idle time, are able to help patients with mental health concerns and even suicidal thoughts.

RESUMO

Ethanol, as one of the important bulk chemicals, is widely used in modern society. It can be produced by fermentation of sugar, petroleum refining, or conversion of syngas (CO/H2). Among these approaches, conversion of syngas to ethanol (STE) is the most environmentally friendly and economical process. Although considerable progress has been made in STE conversion, control of CO activation and C-C growth remains a great challenge. This review highlights recent advances in the routes and catalysts employed in STE technology. The catalyst designs and pathway designs are summarized and analysed for the direct and indirect STE routes, respectively. In the direct STE routes (i.e., one-step synthesis of ethanol from syngas), modified catalysts of methanol synthesis, modified catalysts of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, Mo-based catalysts, noble metal catalysts and multifunctional catalysts are systematically reviewed based on their catalyst designs. Further, in the indirect STE routes (i.e., multi-step processes for ethanol synthesis from syngas via methanol/dimethyl ether as intermediates), carbonylation of methanol/dimethyl ether followed by hydrogenation, and coupling of methanol with CO to form dimethyl oxalate followed by hydrogenation, are outlined according to their pathway designs. The goal of this review is to provide a comprehensive perspective on STE technology and inspire the invention of new catalysts and pathway designs in the near future.

RESUMO

PURPOSE: Whole-grain intake assessed through self-reported methods has been suggested to be inversely associated with the metabolic syndrome (MetS) risk in epidemiological studies. However, few studies have evaluated the association between whole-grain intake and MetS risk using objective biomarkers of whole-grain intake. The aim of this study was to examine the association between plasma 3-(3,5-Dihydroxyphenyl)-1-propanoic acid (DHPPA), a biomarker of whole-grain wheat and rye intake, and MetS risk in a Chinese population. METHODS: A case-control study of 667 MetS cases and 667 matched controls was conducted based on baseline data of the Tongji-Ezhou Cohort study. Plasma DHPPA concentrations were assessed by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The MetS was defined based on criteria set by the Joint Interim Statement. RESULTS: Plasma DHPPA was inversely associated with MetS risk. After adjustment for age, sex, body mass index, smoking status, alcohol drinking status, physical activity and education level, the odds ratios (ORs) for MetS across increasing quartiles of plasma DHPPA concentrations were 1 (referent), 0.86 (0.58-1.26), 0.77 (0.52-1.15), and 0.59 (0.39-0.89), respectively. In addition, the cubic spline analysis revealed a potential nonlinear association between plasma DHPPA and MetS, with a steep reduction in the risk at the lower range of plasma DHPPA concentration. CONCLUSION: Our study revealed that individuals with higher DHPPA concentrations in plasma had lower odds of MetS compared to those with lower DHPPA concentrations in plasma. Our findings provided further evidence to support health benefits of whole grain consumption.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To assess the bi-directional associations of epilepsy with dementia and Alzheimer's disease (AD). METHODS: We searched PubMed, Embase and the Cochrane Library for longitudinal studies assessing the associations of epilepsy with dementia and AD up to 4 August 2021. Two authors independently extracted study characteristics, exposures, outcomes and covariates. Summary hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were pooled using a random effects model. RESULTS: From 8,545 articles identified in the initial research, 27 publications describing 20 longitudinal studies were included in the final analyses. There were 10 studies on epilepsy predicting risk of dementia, 5 studies on epilepsy predicting risk of AD, 11 studies on dementia predicting risk of epilepsy, and 6 studies on AD predicting risk of epilepsy. Baseline epilepsy was associated with higher risk of dementia (pooled HR 2.00; 95% CI 1.73-2.33) and AD (pooled HR 1.81; 95% CI 1.19-2.75). The pooled HRs for epilepsy associated with baseline dementia and AD were 2.91 (95% CI) 2.11-4.01) and 3.11 (95% CI 2.47-3.90), respectively. These positive associations persisted in sensitivity and subgroup analyses. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings suggested positive and bi-directional associations of epilepsy with dementia and AD. However, these associations should be carefully interpreted due to the presence of substantial heterogeneity, and they need to be verified in additional high-quality studies.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin generated during the growth of Clostridium botulinum and can lead to a rare but life-threatening disease with neurologic symptoms. Relatively little is known about the many types of botulinum toxins in China. The clinical symptoms of the different types of botulism toxin-induced illnesses appear after an incubation period and vary greatly by the serotype and degree of exposure to the toxin. CASE REPORT: We describe 4 patients who consumed vacuum-packaged salted fish and ham and then presented with severe gastrointestinal symptoms, resulting in vomiting and one death. Blood serum and urine samples tested by the botulinum neurotoxin Endopep-MS assay were positive for botulinum toxin types A, B, and E. The patient who consumed the largest amount of fish and ham died after 36 h, and the other patients were treated with botulism antitoxin after being diagnosed with a botulinum toxin-induced illness and recovered after 1 month. These cases illustrate the importance of early diagnosis and early treatment of botulism type E, in particular, because of the risk of respiratory failure and treatment delays, which can result in increased mortality and poorer overall outcomes. WHY SHOULD AN EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN BE AWARE OF THIS?: Our cases illustrate the importance of early diagnosis and especially the treatment of illnesses related to botulism type E because of the risk of respiratory failure and because treatment delays can result in increased mortality and worsened overall outcomes.

RESUMO

AIMS/HYPOTHESIS: There is evidence for a bidirectional association between type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer's disease. Plasma ß-amyloid (Aß) is a potential biomarker for Alzheimer's disease. We aimed to investigate the association of plasma Aß40 and Aß42 with risk of type 2 diabetes. METHODS: We performed a case-control study and a nested case-control study within a prospective cohort study. In the case-control study, we included 1063 newly diagnosed individuals with type 2 diabetes and 1063 control participants matched by age (±3 years) and sex. In the nested case-control study, we included 121 individuals with incident type 2 diabetes and 242 matched control individuals. Plasma Aß40 and Aß42 concentrations were simultaneously measured with electrochemiluminescence immunoassay. Conditional logistic regression was used to evaluate the association of plasma Aß40 and Aß42 concentrations with the likelihood of type 2 diabetes. RESULTS: In the case-control study, the multivariable-adjusted ORs for type 2 diabetes, comparing the highest with the lowest quartile of plasma Aß concentrations, were 1.97 (95% CI 1.46, 2.66) for plasma Aß40 and 2.01 (95% CI 1.50, 2.69) for plasma Aß42. Each 30 ng/l increment of plasma Aß40 was associated with 28% (95% CI 15%, 43%) higher odds of type 2 diabetes, and each 5 ng/l increment of plasma Aß42 was associated with 37% (95% CI 21%, 55%) higher odds of type 2 diabetes. Individuals in the highest tertile for both plasma Aß40 and Aß42 concentrations had 2.96-fold greater odds of type 2 diabetes compared with those in the lowest tertile for both plasma Aß40 and Aß42 concentrations. In the nested case-control study, the multivariable-adjusted ORs for type 2 diabetes for the highest vs the lowest quartile were 3.79 (95% CI 1.81, 7.94) for plasma Aß40 and 2.88 (95% CI 1.44, 5.75) for plasma Aß42. The multivariable-adjusted ORs for type 2 diabetes associated with each 30 ng/l increment in plasma Aß40 and each 5 ng/l increment in plasma Aß42 were 1.44 (95% CI 1.18, 1.74) and 1.47 (95% CI 1.15, 1.88), respectively. CONCLUSIONS/INTERPRETATION: Our findings suggest positive associations of plasma Aß40 and Aß42 concentration with risk of type 2 diabetes. Further studies are warranted to elucidate the underlying mechanisms and explore the potential roles of plasma Aß in linking type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer's disease.

RESUMO

Gastric cancer remains one of the most lethal and prevalent malignancies, particularly in China. The majority of patients are diagnosed with gastric cancer at the late stages of the disease. Besides, the high relapse rate also contributes to the high mortality. Therefore, there exists an imperative need for the development of gastric cancer diagnostic techniques as well as novel indicators for gastric cancer metastasis. Exosomes, secreted by a variety of cell types, play critical roles in intercellular communication, which emerge as promising diagnostic biomarkers for gastric cancer. In this study, we present for the first time, at least to the best of our knowledge, the small RNA sequencing spectra of exosomes derived from the gastric cancer patient plasma using next-generation sequencing, focusing on the exploration of metastasis-related biomarkers. The exosomes enriched from patient plasma samples were well characterized by western blotting, transmission electron microscopy and nanoparticle-tracking analysis. In the following bioinformatic analysis of exosomal miRNAs, three candidates were proposed as the biomarkers for metastasis of gastric cancer, namely miR-10b-5p, miR-101-3p and miR-143-5p, for gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis, gastric cancer with ovarian metastasis and gastric cancer with liver metastasis, respectively. RT-qPCR was performed to test the accuracy of these candidates for validation. In conclusion, we successfully isolated and purified exosomes from plasma of patients with gastric cancer and identified several potential exosomal miRNA markers to distinguish gastric cancer patients with various kinds of metastasis.

RESUMO

BACKGROUD: Chromium has been suggested playing a role in alleviating diabetes, insulin resistance and lipid anomalies, but the effect on metabolic syndrome (MetS) in humans remains controversial. METHODS: We conducted a matched case-control study in a Chinese population, involving 2141 MetS cases and 2141 healthy controls, which were 1:1 matched by age (±2 years) and sex. Plasma chromium was measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. RESULTS: Plasma chromium levels were lower in MetS group than in control group (mean: 4.36 µg/L and 4.66 µg/L, respectively, P < 0.001), and progressively decreased with the number of MetS components (P for trend < 0.001). After adjustment for potential confounding factors, the odds ratios (95% confidence intervals) for MetS across increasing quartiles of plasma chromium levels were 1 (reference), 0.84 (0.67-1.05), 0.76 (0.61-0.95), and 0.62 (0.49-0.78), respectively (P for trend < 0.001). For the components of MetS (high waist circumference, high triglycerides and high blood glucose), the odds ratios (95% confidence intervals) of the highest quartiles were 0.77 (0.61-0.95), 0.67 (0.55-0.80), and 0.53 (0.44-0.64), respectively (P for trend < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Our results indicated that plasma chromium levels were inversely associated with MetS in Chinese adults. The association may be explained by the relations between plasma chromium levels and high waist circumference, and the triglycerides and blood glucose levels.

RESUMO

Pectin is a type of complex hydrophilic polysaccharide widely distributed in plant resources. Thermal stable pectinase has its advantage in bioapplication in the fields of food processing, brewing, and papermaking, etc. In this study, we enzymatically characterized a putative endo-polygalacturonase TcPG from a Talaromyces cellulolyticus, realized its high-level expression in Pichia pastoris by in vitro constructing of a series of multi-copy expression cassettes and real time quantitative PCR screening. The secretive expression level of TcPG was nonlinear correlated to the gene dosage. Recombinants with five-copy TcPG gene in the host genome showed the highest expression. After cultivation in a bioreactor for about 96 h, the enzyme activity reached 7124.8 U/mL culture. TcPG has its optimal temperature of 70 °C. Under the optimized parameters, the pectin could be efficiently hydrolyzed into oligosaccharides.

RESUMO

Metastasis to distant organs is a particularly ominous feature of malignant cancer. LKB1 (also known as STK11) has been identified as a tumor suppressor in several types of cancers. Here, we show that LKB1 is at low levels and is negatively associated with poor clinical outcomes in pancreatic cancer (PC). LKB1 is inversely correlated with Snail protein in PC, in which the loss of LKB1 facilitates metastasis through elevating Snail protein level. Furthermore, LKB1 boosts Snail's interaction with E3 ligase FBXL14, leading to increasing ubiquitin-mediated Snail degradation. Notably, metformin could increase Snail protein ubiquitination via augmenting the location of LKB1 at cytoplasm as well as increasing LKB1 expression. Altogether, our data established that LKB1 impedes invasion and metastasis by decreasing the Snail protein level in PC. Targeting the LKB1/FBXL14/Snail axis may represent a promising therapeutic strategy and metformin might be beneficial for PC therapy through activating the LKB1-mediated Snail ubiquitination pathway.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND This study aimed to investigate the mechanism of CHEK2 gene dysfunction in drug resistance of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells. MATERIAL AND METHODS To perform our study, a stable CHEK2 wild type (CHEK2 WT) or CHEK2 Y390C mutation (CHEK2 Y390C) expressed MDA-MB-231 cell line was established. MTT assay, cell apoptosis assay and cell cycle assay were carried out to analyze the cell viability, apoptosis, and cell cycle respectively. Western blotting and qRT-PCR were applied for related protein and gene expression detection. RESULTS We found that the IC50 value of DDP (Cisplatin) to CHEK2 Y390C expressed MDA-MB-231 cells was significantly higher than that of the CHEK2 WT expressed cells and the control cells. After treatment with DDP for 48 h, cells expressing CHEK2 WT showed lower cell viability than that of the CHEK2 Y390C expressed cells and the control cells; compared with the CHEK2 Y390C expressed cells and the control cells, cells expressing CHEK2 WT showed significant G1/S arrest. Meanwhile, we found that compared with the CHEK2 Y390C expressed cells and the control cells, cell apoptosis was significantly increased in CHEK2 WT expressed cells. Moreover, our results suggested that cells expressing CHEK2 WT showed higher level of p-CDC25A, p-p53, p21, Bax, PUMA, and Noxa than that of the CHEK2 Y390C expressed cells and the control cells. CONCLUSIONS Our findings indicated that CHEK2 Y390C mutation induced the drug resistance of TNBC cells to chemotherapeutic drugs through administrating cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest via regulating p53 activation and CHEK2-p53 apoptosis pathway.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this work is to report our experience with (131)I therapy without recent antithyroid drug (ATD) pretreatment for refractory severe hyperthyroidism complicated by hyperbilirubinemia due to hepatic dysfunction. METHODS: Five patients with refractory severe hyperthyroidism were treated with (131)I at 90 to 120 µCi/g-thyroid (total activity, 6.2 to 10.1 mCi). The patients previously had received ATD treatment from 2 months to 12 years and discontinued ATDs from 2 months to 4 years before (131)I treatment due to treatment failure or severe jaundice. Prior to (131)I therapy, the patients were asked to take a low-iodine diet and were treated with bisoprolol fumarate, digoxin, furosemide, S-adenosylmethionine, polyene phosphatidylcholine, and plasma exchange as supportive treatment for related clinical conditions. Four of the patients also received lithium carbonate in conjunction with their (131)I treatment. The patients were followed for 4 to 9 years after (131)I therapy. RESULTS: After (131)I treatment, jaundice disappeared completely within 3 to 4 months in all patients, and liver function tests returned to normal. Concurrent atrial fibrillation and heart failure, leukopenia and thrombocytopenia, or thrombocytopenia and left cardiac enlargement improved remarkably in 3 patients during the follow-up period. Three to 45 months after (131)I treatment, hypothyroidism was noted in the patients and they were treated with L-thyroxine replacement therapy. CONCLUSION: (131)I therapy without recent ATD pretreatment for refractory severe hyperthyroidism complicated by serious jaundice appears to be safe and effective, with good long-term results. It may be the preferred therapy for such patients and should be used as early as possible.

RESUMO

Bifunctional Fischer-Tropsch (FT) catalysts that couple uniform-sized Co nanoparticles for CO hydrogenation and mesoporous zeolites for hydrocracking/isomerization reactions were found to be promising for the direct production of gasoline-range (C5-11 ) hydrocarbons from syngas. The Brønsted acidity results in hydrocracking/isomerization of the heavier hydrocarbons formed on Co nanoparticles, while the mesoporosity contributes to suppressing the formation of lighter (C1-4 ) hydrocarbons. The selectivity for C5-11 hydrocarbons could reach about 70 % with a ratio of isoparaffins to n-paraffins of approximately 2.3 over this catalyst, and the former is markedly higher than the maximum value (ca. 45 %) expected from the Anderson-Schulz-Flory distribution. By using n-hexadecane as a model compound, it was clarified that both the acidity and mesoporosity play key roles in controlling the hydrocracking reactions and thus contribute to the improved product selectivity in FT synthesis.

RESUMO

Selectivity control is a challenging goal in Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis. Hydrogenolysis is known to occur during FT synthesis, but its impact on product selectivity has been overlooked. Demonstrated herein is that effective control of hydrogenolysis by using mesoporous zeolite Y-supported cobalt nanoparticles can enhance the diesel fuel selectivity while keeping methane selectivity low. The sizes of the cobalt particles and mesopores are key factors which determine the selectivity both in FT synthesis and in hydrogenolysis of n-hexadecane, a model compound of heavier hydrocarbons. The diesel fuel selectivity in FT synthesis can reach 60 % with a CH4 selectivity of 5 % over a Na-type mesoporous Y-supported cobalt catalyst with medium mean sizes of 8.4 nm (Co particles) and 15 nm (mesopores). These findings offer a new strategy to tune the product selectivity and possible interpretations of the effect of cobalt particle size and the effect of support pore size in FT synthesis.

RESUMO

This paper leverages Citespace and VOSviewer software to perform a comprehensive bibliometric analysis on a corpus of 384 references related to smart sports venues, spanning from 1998 to 2022. The analysis encompasses various facets, including author network analysis, institutional network analysis, temporal mapping, keyword clustering, and co-citation network analysis. Moreover, this paper constructs a smart stadiums strategic assessment model (SSSAM) to compensate for confusion and aimlessness by genetic algorithms (GA). Our findings indicate an exponential growth in publications on smart sports venues year over year. Arizona State University emerges as the institution with the highest number of collaborative publications, Energy and Buildings becomes the publication with the most documents. While, Wang X stands out as the scholar with the most substantial contribution to the field. In scrutinizing the betweenness centrality indicators, a paradigm shift in research hotspots becomes evident-from intelligent software to the domains of the Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent services, and artificial intelligence (AI). The SSSAM model based on artificial neural networks (ANN) and GA algorithms also reached similar conclusions through a case study of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), building Information Modeling (BIM), cloud computing and artificial intelligence Internet of Things (AIoT) are expected to develop in the future. Three key themes developed over time. Finally, a comprehensive knowledge system with common references and future hot spots is proposed.

RESUMO

The role of SLC35A2 in breast cancer remains poorly understood, with limited available information on its significance. This study aimed to investigate the expression of SLC35A2 and clinicopathological variables in breast cancer patients. Immunohistochemical analysis of SLC35A2 protein was conductedon 40 adjacent non-neoplastic tissues and 320 breast cancer tissues. The study also assesed the association between SLC35A2 expression and breast cancer clinicopathological features of breast cancer, as well as its impact on overall survival. In comparison to adjacent non-neoplastic tissues, a significantly higher expression of SLC35A2 was observed in breast cancer tissues (P = 0.020), and this expression was found to be independently correlated with HER2 positivity (P = 0.001). Survival analysis indicated that patients with low SLC35A2 expression had a more favorable prognosis in HER2-positive subtype breast cancer (P = 0.017). These results suggest that SLC35A2 is overexpressed in breast cancer tissues compared to adjacent non-neoplastic tissues and may serve as a potential prognostic marker for HER2-positive subtype breast cancer. Furthermore, breast cancer patients with the HER2 positive subtype who exhibited decreased levels of SLC35A2 expression demonstrated improved long-term prognostic outcomes.
