RESUMO

Traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) decoction contains complex bitterness. In this paper, the simple mixing of TCM monomer bitter substances is used as the entry point to study the law of bitterness superposition. With berberine hydrochloride( alkaloids),geniposide( terpenoids),and arbutin( glycosides) as mother liquor, sophoridine( alkaloids),gentiopicroside( terpenoids),and puerarin( glycosides) as additive substances, these different additive substances were mixed with different mother liquor according to concentration gradients to form different liquid mixtures. The bitterness of the additive solution and the mixtures was evaluated by traditional human taste panel method( THTPM) and electronic tongue; the bitterness-concentration fitting model of the additive solution and the liquid mixtures was established by Weibull and logarithmic curves. By comparing and analyzing the bitterness-concentration model and the bitterness difference( ΔI_0/ΔI_e) of the additive solution and the mixture, the influence of mother liquor on the bitterness of the mixture was investigated. The results showed that both the additive solution bitterness model and the liquid mixture bitterness model were consistent with the Weibull model and the logarithmic model( THTPM: R~2≥0. 887 0,P<0. 01; electronic tongue test:R~2≥0. 753 2,P<0. 05). The fitting degree of the Weibull model was generally higher than that of the logarithmic model; the bitterness difference( ΔI_0) was monotonously decreasing; the fitting equation of tongue bitterness and electronic tongue bitterness: R~2≥0. 874 2,P<0. 01. In this article, through the superposition of different kinds of TCM bitter substances,THTPM and electronic tongue test was combined. It was found that the bitterness after superposition was still in Weibull or logarithmic relationship with the concentration of additive substances; THTPM showed that the effect of bitter mother liquor on the bitterness of the mixture decreased with the increase of the concentration of the additive; the bitterness of the electronic tongue was obviously related to the bitterness of THTPM. However, further verification is needed later by optimizing the concentration gradient and expanding the sample size.

RESUMO

A novel dual-targeting Pluronic/poly(lactic acid) polymersome containing transferrin and folic acid ligands (Tf/FA-F127-PLA) has been designed to study its application in the targeted drug delivery system. Both biotin and folic acid conjugated Biotin/FA-F127-PLA polymersomes (Ps) were prepared as the precursor. The dual-targeting behaviors of Tf/FA-F127-PLA over C6 glioma cells were then fulfilled through connecting the precursor with biotinylated transferrin by using a three-step biotin-avidin technique. Paclitaxel (PTX) was loaded successfully into Biotin/FA-F127-PLA and showed a burst release followed by a slow-release process in vitro. It was also obtained that Tf/FA-F127-PLA had higher cytotoxicity and cellular uptake amount than non-targeted and single-targeted Ps did. These results could be because more PTX-loaded Tf/FA-F127-PLA Ps entered C6 cells through both FA-folate receptor (FR) and Tf-transferrin receptor (TfR) specific affinity and thus possessed the better anti-tumor ability. It was further proved that the uptake of Ps by C6 cells was through the endocytosis related to clathrin, caveolae, lysosome, etc. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that the uptake of dual-targeting Tf/FA-F127-PLA Ps by C6 cells was related to the endocytosis mediated by both FR and TfR. These findings indicated that dual-targeting Tf/FA-F127-PLA Ps could be a potential carrier in targeted drug delivery systems.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the constituents of essential oil from different processing drynesses of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae. METHODS: Water steam distillation and GC-MS were used. Relative contents were determined by area. RESULTS: 37 compounds were identified. The constituents of essential oil the constituents from Radix Angelicae Dahuricae by insolation, drying and microwave dryness were similar, but one by dryness after sulfurizing and dryness after perspiring were different. CONCLUSION: Dryness after sulfurizing and dryness after perspiring are not fit for the dryness of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To establish HPLC fingerprint analysis for the quality control of processed Radix Angelicae Dahuricae. METHODS: HPLC fingerprint analysis of processed Radix Angelicae Dahuricae was developed Agilent C18 column (250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 microm) was used, with mixture of acetonitrile and 5% phosphorous acid mobile phase in a gradient mode. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. The wavelength of measurement was 254 nm. Fifteen batches of processed Radix Angelicae Dahuricae were determined. RESULTS: The methodological evaluation showed that the method had a good repeatability. CONCLUSION: The method can be used to identify and evaluate the quality of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae conveniently.

RESUMO

This paper presents a study of FeNi-based thin film materials deposited with Mo, Al and B using a co-sputtering process. The existence of soft magnetic properties in combination with strong magneto-mechanical coupling makes these materials attractive for sensor applications. Our findings show that FeNi deposited with Mo or Al yields magnetically soft materials and that depositing with B further increases the softness. The out-of-plane magnetic anisotropy of FeNi thin films is reduced by depositing with Al and completely removed by depositing with B. The effect of depositing with Mo is dependent on the Mo concentration. The coercivity of FeNiMo and FeNiAl is reduced to less than a half of that of FeNi, and a value as low as 40 A/m is obtained for FeNiB. The surfaces of the obtained FeNiMo, FeNiAl and FeNiB thin films reveal very different morphologies. The surface of FeNiMo shows nano-cracks, while the FeNiAl films show large clusters and fewer nano-cracks. When FeNi is deposited with B, a very smooth morphology is obtained. The crystal structure of FeNiMo strongly depends on the depositant concentration and changes into an amorphous structure at a higher Mo level. FeNiAl thin films remain polycrystalline, even at a very high concentration of Al, and FeNiB films are amorphous, even at a very low concentration of B.

RESUMO

Endostatin is an endogenous inhibitor of angiogenesis and has been shown to exhibit potent inhibitory activity in certain mice tumor models. In this study, a treatment strategy of combining recombinant human endostatin (rhEndostatin) and chemotherapeutics was implemented to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of rhEndostatin against solid tumors. The antitumor effect of rhEndostatin in combination with several chemotherapeutic drugs, e.g., 5-fluorouracil, cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, and mitomycin C, on human QGY liver tumor and mice H22 liver tumor was compared with that of rhEndostatin treatment alone. The results showed that the combination of rhEndostatin and chemotherapeutic drugs resulted in a more potent inhibition of tumor growth. The potential advantages of rhEndostatin plus tumor chemotherapy provide a basis for further clinical trials of rhEndostatin.
