ABSTRACT
Receiver/stimulator migration and extrusion are among the most commonly reported complications of cochlear implantation. Current techniques implement either a tight subperiosteal pocket or postauricular bone well. Here we describe a safe and effective technique to secure a cochlear implant receiver/stimulator with a Mersilene cervical cerclage tape "seatbelt." Laryngoscope, 1343374-3376, 2024.
