RESUMO

Psychological, social, cultural, emotional, and organizational perspectives consistently highlight human capital's importance in the literature. We argue that the collective view of different capitals with self-notion is essential for establishing impression, image, and self-esteem. According to the review findings, religious capital could predict context-specific psychological, cultural, social, emotional, and organizational capital. This acknowledgment can assist academics in better understanding how religion, social psychology, and other capitals co-create value in human capital development. This study includes several possible future paths and notes remarkable qualities that can enhance human capital value development research.

RESUMO

We report the promising urease inhibitory activity of four sets of tetrahydro thiadiazine thiones (THTT) namely 3,5-disubstituted tetrahydro-2H-1,3,5-thiadiazine thiones: THTT 5-8 (set A) having alkyl/aryl substituents at N-3 and N-5 positions; THTT 9-12 (set B) and THTT 13-14 (set C) with 3-carboxylic acid derivatives and tetrahydro-2H-1,3,5-thiadiazine-6-thione esters 15-16 (set D). Gratifyingly, all four sets of THTT were recognized as promising inhibitors of urease enzyme. Among 12 tested compounds; THTT 6, 8, 10, 14 and 15 from each set respectively, demonstrated significant urease inhibitory activity with IC50 values between 11.2-29.8µM which is mostly found higher than that for thiourea, a standard urease inhibitor with IC50 value of 22.4µM. Furthermore, compound 7 showed almost the same level of inhibition (IC50 = 22.5µM) as of standard. In addition, molecular docking study supported the phenomenon that thiadiazinane ring itself is an active pharmacophore that binds through CH2 groups and S atom via carbon-hydrogen/π-sulfur interactions respectively to the active site of the urease enzyme. The optimistic results from this study suggest the use of thiadiazinane skeleton as a guided template for the advancement of new urease inhibitors in drug discovery.

RESUMO

Since March 2020, it is known that Indonesia has experienced the impact of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic, and making health workers at the forefront of potential exposure to the Covid-19 virus because they have to deal with Covid-19 patients every day during the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to focus on developing an empirical model to increase job performance in the hospital to create the right quality of work and still make the organization grow well sustainably. This study will use assistance of quality of work life, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and psychological empowerment in creating an increase in job performance needed by nurses at the Type B Hospital in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach through a questionnaire survey method conducted on nurses at 36 Type B Hospital in Jakarta, totalling 400 respondents. The sample used in this study was obtained through a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of a service period of more than 2 years. Then the data were analysed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Though quality of work life is found to significantly affect organizational commitment, job satisfaction and psychological empowerment, its effect on job performance found to be insignificant. Further findings will be discussed further.

RESUMO

Taking into account the literature on technology acceptance and adoption, this study aimed to investigate the mediating role of adoption readiness, which was built on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), on the relationship between perceived anxiety and attitude toward using the system. This research also evaluated demographic variations and gender roles that could be considered when developing technology-use strategies. In a nutshell, this research looked into the negative and positive effects of technology integration through UTAUT's Correctional Database System (CDS). A survey was used to gather information from 230 middle managers whose responsibility is to manage information system database in correctional institutions. The data were then analyzed with SmartPLS 3 Software. The findings revealed that perceived anxiety has a significant effect on attitude toward using database management system and adoption readiness. Whereas adoption readiness could mediate perceived anxiety and attitude toward using database management system. However, gender was not proven to moderate the effect of adoption readiness on attitude toward using a database management system. This study provided a thorough grasp of both the supports that can help individuals develop positive attitudes toward an application system and the challenges that can obstruct the process. This study also gave an understanding that correctional institutions need to ascertain the middle managers that database management systems can be used easily and can overcome errors caused by human error.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: 46XY pure gonadal dysgenesis (Swyer syndrome) is a rare disorder of sexual development. Patients have a 46XY karyotype, though phenotypically they appear female with normal external genitalia and vagina. Although patients exhibit normal Müllerian structures (uterus, fallopian tubes, and vagina), they possess a pair of bilateral undifferentiated gonad streaks. Delayed puberty and primary amenorrhea are the common presentations. There is an increased risk of developing tumors in the gonads and therefore a bilateral gonadectomy is recommended. CASE: A 16-year-old girl who presented with primary amenorrhea was diagnosed with Swyer syndrome. She underwent prophylactic bilateral gonadectomy and salpingectomies. She was discovered to have no gonadal malignancy, conversely dysgerminoma solely within the fallopian tube. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION: Both bilateral salpingectomies and bilateral gonadectomies should be recommended as the operation of choice in patients with Swyer Syndrome.
