[EFFICACY OF CYCLOFERON LINIMENT IN THE COMBINED TREATMENT OF CHRONIC GINGIVITIS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC INFECTIOUS DISEASES].

In order to study the clinical-pathogenetic efficacy of using cycloferon liniment in the combined therapy of patients with gingivitis on the background of chronic infectious diseases (HIV infection, hepatitis C, brucellosis), medical examination and treatment of 42 patients with this diagnosis has been carried out. It is established, that the use of cycloferon liniment in the combined therapy decreases the infection load in periodontal recess and manifestation of local inflammation, normalizes the immunity indices, and reduces the level of endogenous intoxication. All these factors provide acceleration of the recuperation processes and decrease the frequency of recidivating.

[GLOSSALGIA SYNDROME AS SUPRAESOPHAGEAL MANIFESTATION OF GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE].

The case of clinical supervision of the patient having polimorbid pathology is presented. One of extraesophageal manifestations of a gastroesophageal reflux disease is the glossalgia. Glossalgia is the polyetiological disease. Treatment needs to be carried out taking into account the factors causing emergence of a glossalgia. In this regard normalization of functions of organs and systems of an organism is provided.

[Dentin surface morphology changes after applying pastes with calcium hydroxyapatite or nanohydroxyapatite].

This study presents the results of an experimental use of pastes with hydroxyapatite and with nanohydroxyapatite to compare the effect of occlusion of dentinal tubules. When performing work we estimated the morphological changes of the dentin surface using scanning electron and atomic force microscopy. The detailed assessment of dentin structural features under significant amplification it was possible to identify differences in plugging dentin tubules by different kinds of pastes. It was found that the cut surface of dentin after the application of the pastes is covered with the unified layer of the paste's particles and their individual conglomerates.

[Crystallographic picture of the gingival fluid in healthy teeth and by inflammatory periodontal disease].

The research revealed crystallographic structure of the gingival fluid in healthy teeth and by inflammatory periodontal disease. Comparing the results with clinical data both crystallographic patterns in healthy teeth gingival fluid and markers of periodontal tissue pathology were established.

[Ultramicroscopic evaluation of teeth enamel de- and remineralization].

The paper presents the results of scanning electronic microscopy evaluation of teeth enamel surface. The method allows studying objects at huge magnification and without preliminary preparation. Research was conducted in vitro on extracted teeth. Morphological features of tooth enamel were studied, as well as changes of enamel surface after application of remineralization agent.

[Improvement of parodontitis therapy of patients with HIV-infection].

For the purpose to determine the clinic-pathogenetic efficacy of cycloferon liniment in the combined therapy of periodontitis of patients with subclinical stage of HIV-infection medical examination and treatment of 40 patients was carried out. It was established that use of liniment cycloferon in the combined treatment of patients with subclinical stage of HIV-infection allowed to accelerate process of normalization of lipid peroxidation parameters and antioxidant potential of blood, to decrease infection load (herpes symplex virus I, Candida albicans, Staphylococcus aureus) in parodontal recess and evidence of local inflammation with reduction of activity of the tumours necrosis factor and interleukin 1beta, what provided acceleration of recuperation processes, lowering the frequency of parodontitis relapses.

[Present views of the etiology and pathogenesis of rapidly progressive periodontitis].

In modern dentistry, the problem of occurrence of atypical forms of periodontal inflammatory diseases, namely rapidly progressive periodontitis (RPP), has assumed a particular significance due the increasing incidence of this pathology. The paper considers the main lines of the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease. By taking into account the current data available in the literature, it may be assumed that the development ofa systemic inflammatory response, destabilization of cellular membranes, followed by the development of endothelial dysfunction and progressing microcirculatory disorders, are one of the mechanisms of the pathogenesis of RPP.

[Use of transcutaneous laser biostimulation of blood and a running alternating magnetic field in preparing periodontitis patients for surgery]. / Primenenie chreskozhnoi lazernoi biostimuliatsii krovi i begushchego peremennogo magnitnogo polia pri podgotovke bol/nykh parodontitom k khirurgicheskomu étapu lecheniia.

A total of 103 patients with exacerbation of chronic generalized periodontitis of moderate and high severity were treated using running alternating magnetic field generated by ATOS device and transcutaneous laser biostimulation of the blood. These treatment modalities accelerated preoperative treatment and allowed performing the operations on the periodontal tissues in the optimal status under conditions of improved defense forces of the organism.
