One new genus and two new species of the tribe Meconematini (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae) from Yunnan, China.

One new genus, Paraphlugiolopsis Bian & Shi gen. nov., and two new species, Paraphlugiolopsis jiangi Bian & Shi sp. nov. and Paraphlugiolopsis lobocera Bian & Shi sp. nov., are described in the tribe Meconematini. The two new species have similar habitat in Yunnan, China, but live in different altitudes. All material examined is deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

Second supplement for the genus Phlugiolopsis Zeuner, 1940 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae) from China, with eight new species.

This paper deals with 8 new species of Phlugiolopsis from Yunnan and Guizhou, China, supplements the images of P ventralis Wang, Li & Liu, 2012 and details the morphology of male stridulatory files and mandibles for 9 Phlugiolopsis known species. Distribution of poorly known species and new species are presented. A key to all known species is provided. Based on the known distribution of Phlugiolopsis and bioclimatic variables in WorldClim, we used the ecological niche models, maximum entropy (Maxent), to predict the potential geographic distribution of the genus. All specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

Two new species of the genus Nicephora Bolívar, 1900 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae) from Yunnan, China.

This paper reports two new species of the tribe Meconematini from Yunnan, China, namely Nicephora curvata sp. nov. and Nicephora angustifolia sp. nov., and diagnostic illustrations are provided. The type specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

This paper reports three new species of the genus Phlugiolopsis from Yunnan, China, i.e. Phlugiolopsis expansis sp. nov., Phlugiolopsis bidentis sp. nov. and Phlugiolopsis curvis sp. nov. Examined specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

Three new species of the genus Nigrimacula Shi, Bian & Zhou, 2016 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae) from Yunnan, China.

This paper reports three new species of the genus Nigrimacula Shi, Bian & Zhou, 2016 from Yunnan, China, i.e. Nigrimacula biprotubera sp. nov., Nigrimacula trigona sp. nov. and Nigrimacula wuliangshanensis sp. nov. In addition, we supplement the male description of Nigrimacula inlobata Cui, Liu & Shi, 2021.

One new species of the genus Microconema Liu, 2005 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae) from Yunnan, China.

This paper reports one new species of the genus Microconema Liu, 2015, i.e. Microconema arctilamina sp. nov., and provides the characteristics and habitus photographs. Illustrations of important morphology of Microconema clavata (Uvarov, 1933) are also provided for the first time. The materials examined (including type specimens) are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

[Genetic differentiation among different geographic populations of Gampsocleis sedakovii].

The mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I (mtDNA-COI) gene was used to investigate the intraspecific genetic subdivision among 12 geographical populations of Gampsocleis sedakovii distributed in Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, and Sichuan provinces, China. As for the 626 bp mtDNA-COI sequences of 36 individuals, 29 haplotypes and 71 (11.3%) polymorphic sites were detected, including 37 parsimony informative and 34 singleton variable sites. The results of the analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA) showed that the percentage of variation within populations (37.23%) was less than that among populations. The Fst value was 0.62770 (P< 0.001), and the genetic divergence among populations was significant. Maximum parsimony (MP) analysis revealed two clearly differentiated branch (Ⅰ and Ⅱ) with high bootstrap support (100%). However, these two branches did not correspond in the subspecies distinction based on morphological character. Based on the habitats analysis, we preliminary inferred that morphological divergence between Gampsocleis se-dakovii sedakovii and Gampsocleis sedakovii obscura was the result of habitat dissimilarity. The majority of the G. se-dakovii individuals collected in NTL (Tongliao, Inner Mongolia) were identified as the members of branch Ⅱ, but one individual (NTL-3) belonged to branch Ⅰ. Thus, at least this locality was occupied by two phylogenetically independent individuals. Haplotypes (H10) were shared by three localities, NTL, NEWK (Ewenke, Inner Mongolia) and JJL (Jilin, Jilin), indicated that they shared a common ancestor. We approved that Northeastern China (Manchuria China) was the center of G. sedakovii genetic differentiation, but disapproved the subspecies distinction based on morphological character.

Further notes on the genus Kuzicus Gorochov, 1993 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae) with description of one new species from China.

In this paper, a new species is proposed, Kuzicus multispinus sp. nov., from China. Images of the new species and distribution map for the genus in China are provided. Type specimen is deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

Notes on the genus Macroteratura Gorochov, 1993 (Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae: Meconematini) with description of one new species from China.

The paper deals with 7 species of the genus Macroteratura from China and provides information on examined specimens, of which one new species Macroteratura (Macroteratura) inospina Chen, Cui Chang sp. nov. is described and illustrated with characteristic photographs of four known species from China.

Pseudophlugiolopsis bitubera gen. nov., sp. nov. and a new species of Allicyrtaspis Shi, Bian amp; Chang, 2013 (Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae: Meconematini) from China.

A new genus is proposed for Pseudophlugiolopsis bitubera gen. nov., sp. nov. from Yunnan, China. Another new species of the genus Allicyrtaspis is described: Allicyrtaspis? phryganis sp. nov. The type specimens are preserved in the Museum of Hebei University.

Two new species of the genus Xiphidiopsis Redtenbacher, 1891 (Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae: Meconematini) from Yunnan, China.

The paper reports two new species of the genus Xiphidiopsis Redtenbacher, 1891 from Yunnan, China, i.e. Xiphidiopsis (Dinoxiphidiopsis) bifurcatis sp. nov. and Xiphidiopsis (Xiphidiopsis) spoona sp. nov., and provides characteristic photographs of external morphology. The type specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University, Baoding, P. R. China.

One new species of the genus Xizicus Gorochov, 1993 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae) from Guangxi, China.

One new species of the genus Xizicus Gorochov, 1993 is described, namely Xizicus (Eoxizicus) lobicercus sp. nov. from China. In addition, morphological photograph of Xizicus (Eoxizicus) divergrntis (Liu Zhang, 2000) are provided. All the type specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University.

Revision of the genus Sinocyrtaspis Liu, 2000 (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae: Meconematinae).

The genus Sinocyrtaspis Liu, 2000 is revised. The characteristics, male pronotum strongly raised and prolonged at metazona as well as paranota after posterior transverse sulcus extended, are the main diagnostic characters. Two species are described as new: Sinocyrtaspis hengshanensis sp. nov. and Sinocyrtaspis cardia sp. nov. A key to the species (males) and distribution map are given.
