RESUMO

The increased level of the circulating endothelial cells (CEC) is in direct dependance with a degree of an endothelial trauma. We defined CEC in blood (cells x 104/L) of 67 adults and children with acute and chronic viral hepatitis (A and B) and healthy volontiars. The author obtained reliable results of increased CEC in all groups consisting of patients with diffuse liver deseases (17,4+/-6,5 and 19,8+/-8,4) in comparison with control groups (3,8+/-1,9 and 3,8+/-1,2) thus CEC can be of practical value as a marker of microvessel lesions of the liver. Endotheliocytemia testifies to be a factor during endothelial trauma in pathogenesis of diffuse liver disease.

RESUMO

This paper reviews the modern proteomic technologies used in arrhythmology. The authors discuss the methods of the proteomic analysis as a supplement to the analysis of gene structure and gene expression. Modern molecular-genetic technologies (cell therapy, gene therapy) enable to optimize treatment by controlling the origin and development of cardiac arrhythmias. It will be reached with the use of biological pacemaker cells in clinics.

RESUMO

A literature review considers apoptosis-related immunological aspects of chronic heart failure (CHF). Scientific data on the induction of cardiomiocyte apoptosis, NO and immune factors--cytokines in the development of CHF and remodeling of myocardium were analyzed. Modern approaches of therapy for patients with CHF were discussed in the article. They include combined correction of functioning mechanisms of neurohumoral systems and elimination of adverse effects of apoptosis--associated cytokine "aggression".

RESUMO

Chenophalk (chenodeoxycholeic acid) was given to Wistar rats, including intact animals and those with chronic toxic hepatitis, in daily oral dose of 15 mg/kg body weight during 11 days. Chronic toxic hepatitis was induced by 7 subcutaneous injections of carbon tetrachloride (0.3 ml of 50% oil solution per kg body weight) each three days. Chenophalk was shown to impair bile crystallization. It enhanced demethylase activity, elevated the levels of cytochromes P-450 and b5 in the liver microsomal fraction, and decreased lipid peroxidation just after injection. The agent normalized oxygen tension in the liver tissue, which had been reduced by carbon tetrachloride. Chenophalk caused disturbances in the structure of the liver and in microcirculation early after injection, showing a tendency to normalize the histostructure of the liver.

RESUMO

The state of the biliary system (BS) was estimated by the size of gallbladder on a series of its ultrasonic sections in dynamics after cholecystokinetic breakfast. Noninvasiveness, convenience, simplicity, high informativity and absence of the diagnostic ultrasound effect on the organism permit using dynamic echocholecystography (DECG) repeatedly and over a long period of time preventing appearance of any complications. Studies carried out by means of DECG proceeding from the analysis of echocholystogram plots and quantitative parameters of the motor activity cycle of the bile cyst made it possible to characterize in detail the state of basic functional elements of BS relative to the healthy organism. DECG is promising to be used for an organism with pathology of the digestive system.

RESUMO

Functional inhibition of the drug liver metabolism seems to start at early subclinical stages of cholecystitis. Antipyrine++ level in the initial saliva sample drops significantly and continues to change with growing structural impairment of the biliary system in progression of chronic noncalculous cholecystitis into calculous one.

RESUMO

The functional activity of the vegetative nervous system was studied before and after the exposure to graded normobaric hypoxia having been realized as breathing with an artificial hypoxic mixture (AHM) during 10 to 40 minutes in subjects presenting with hypo- and hyperacidic syndromes. A relationship was established between activation of the sympathetic or parasympathetic regions and aggravation of the antecedent history (bad habits). It is suggested that a short-term AHM breathing be used as a test for preservation/failure of mechanisms of adaptation.

RESUMO

The authors present and discuss a survey of published papers on medical care price formation. Economic analysis methods, socio-economic aspects of evaluation of medical care cost and effectiveness of different kinds of treatment were considered. Planning the volume of medical care in health care institutions strongly recommends perfecting the price formation by optimising calculation method and developing treatment and prophylaxis protocols.

RESUMO

Changes were studied in intragastric pH with the aid of micromethods of topo-pH-metry in 46 patients presenting with hypo- and hyperacidic syndrome exposed to artificial mountain air (AMA) therapy. The gas mixture containing 14% oxygen was formed by using molecular sieves. AMA was found out to have a significant sanogenic effect: it makes for acid production in patients with hypoacidic syndrome and reduces the above production in those patients presenting with hyperacidic syndrome AMA therapy administered along with the judicious employment of blockers, Hs-histamine receptors will, we believe, help in alleviating and dispelling the withdrawal syndrome.

RESUMO

After conduction of operation on thyroid gland (TG) 35 patients were examined using color Doppler mapping. The TG stump blood supply was determined mainly along periphery in sites of newly created membranes. Maximal rate of the TG tissue growth was observed in 1 year. The changes of the structure type can not be used as the test for establishing of the "goiter recurrency" diagnosis.

RESUMO

In this work has been analyzed the potential of biophysics methods in estimations of the microcirculatory system. Capillaroresistometry, Computer capillaroscopy and Laser Doppler Flowmetry can to detect of the endothelial dysfunction in the patients with chronic hepatic diseases. This instrumentals biophysics methods may be used in clinical investigations for screening early pathological conditions with dysfunction of the microcirculatory system. The methods Laser Doppler Flowmetry is important for investigations the patients with others diseases and for dynamical monitoring by quality of the treatment. The purpose of these methods an objective estimation of disorders in the microcirculatory system.

RESUMO

A study is presented of 58 patients with chronic cholecystitis associated with chronic ischemic heart disease. Single sublingual use of phenigidin was followed by ultrasonic examination and revealed elimination of signs of spasm of the sphincter apparatus of the biliary tract and improvement of evacuation of bile from the gallbladder. Peroral use of phenigidin (10-20 mg three times daily before meals for 2-3 weeks) was accompanied by a positive dynamics of clinical manifestations of chronic cholecystitis and chronic ischemic heart disease. Average indices of tolerance to physical loads (bicycle ergometric [correction of veloergometric] data) did not change essentially as a result of treatment.

RESUMO

Data are reported of a study of the functional state of the biliary in 50 patients with chronic cholecystitis by means of complex employment of dynamic echo- and cholecystography and dynamic computerized gamma-hepatobilioscintigraphy. It was found that dynamic echo- and cholecystography proved highly efficient indicating that ultrasound tomography is of importance not only the diagnosis of structural but also functional disorders in cholecystitis, for the choice of optimal tactics and evaluation of the efficacy of therapeutic measures excluding radiation treatment.

RESUMO

Ultrasonic scanning of the gallbladder was realized in 234 patients with ischemic heart disease and results of 924 autopsy findings in those who died of myocardial infarction. A high incidence of concomitant cholelithiasis was found in patients with ischemic heart disease as compared with the general population. The data obtained by ultrasound examination were close to the results of autopsy findings.
