RESUMO
Experiments on rabbits have shown that state of T-immunodeficiency induced by persisting virus infection promotes atherogenesis. Correction of age immunodeficiency by transplantation of the autologous bone marrow taken in young age considerably retards the atherosclerosis development. Inhibition of atherogenesis is also achieved by introduction (to animals) of natural thymic vilosene preparation which compensates a decrease in the functional activity of the thymus gland occurring under conditions of experimental hyperlipidemia.

Clinical and morphological peculiarities of healing burn wounds with the help of hemosorption in therapy of critically burned patients were studied. The data obtained have shown positive effects of the method on the course of wound processes. The formation of crust, demarcation zone, granulation tissue, processes of fibrillogenesis and collagenogenesis accelerated. Epithelization of burned surface occurred 3-4 days earlier than in patients without hemosorption and the surface area of total epithelization of the burn surface was 15-20% greater.

The complex investigation of the biopsy specimens of burn wounds in dynamics of their healing in 15 male patients with IIIA-IIIB-IV degree burns was carried out. The high intensity of biosynthetic processes in the cells, which provides epidermization of the wound surface, fibrillogenesis and phagocytosis at the first 14 days of the disease, was noted. By day 21 after burn trauma, the normalization of tissue-vascular permeability and differentiation of the connective tissue were not completed. The content of RNA, different components of proteoglycans and glycogen in the skin structures has a phasic character, and reflects the course and prognosis of the processes of healing.

The authors analyze cardiomyopathies as primary lesions of the heart of unknown etiology. Examination of skin biopsies in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy indicates the presence of morphological signs of the systemic character of the process in the connective tissue, an increased content of circulating immune complexes in the blood of patients. In hypertrophic cardiomyopathy similar changes were found only in one patient. Dilated cardiomyopathy is a manifestation of a systemic immunopathological process in most of these patients.
