RESUMO

Ultrastructural changes of aerohematic barrier have been studied using autopsy material of 24 died patients due to acute myocardial infarction. It was established that progressive alterative changes of all components of the aerohematic barrier are occuring in lungs of these patients. The changes are characterised, in particular, by disorder of fat methabolism resulting in fat microembolism of vessells of microcirculation bed and fat infiltration of cell elements including alveolocyte of I and II order.

RESUMO

With the aid of morphological methods of investigation, the structure of the lungs was studied in those deceased persons having been ill with myocardial infarction and also in rats simulated with acute coronary failure. Comparison of results of studies made in autopsy and experimental material has shown that in the lungs occur certain stereotype structural changes which reflect abnormalities of lipid metabolism and manifest itself by fat microembolism of vessels of the microcirculatory bed and by accumulation of unemulsified fats in the interalveolar septa and alveolar lumens.

RESUMO

Studied in autopsy tissue with the aid of methods for morphological analysis were structural manifestations of abnormalities of lipid metabolism in the lungs that can be seen in the acute period of myocardial infarction (MI). It has been ascertained that there develop alterative processes in the lungs, with freely scattered fatty drops accumulating in structures of interalveolar septa, alveolar macrophages, and alveols; in lumens of vessels of the capillary bed fatty microembols are commonly seen. The detected changes suggest to us a disordered lipid metabolism in the lungs in the acute period of MI.

RESUMO

With the aid of gaschromatographic techniques a fatty-acid composition was studied of lipids of the expired air condensate and sweat of patients in uncomplicated/complicated course of acute myocardial infarction versus morphological changes in the blood-air barrier. The complicated course of the condition vs uncomplicated one has been found out to be accompanied by a significant increase in the lipid content of the polyunsaturated fatty acids--linoleic and arachidonic acids--in the studied biological objects, which fact can be used in diagnosis and prognostication of development of complications in the acute period of myocardial infarction.

RESUMO

In this paper, the author highlights the ultrastructural changes in the lung respiratory zone during the acute period of myocardial infarction in origination and development of pneumonia. The development of inflammatory process was found out to be preceded by microcirculation disorders, focal damage to the gas-blood barrier, and lung tissue bacterial contamination at day 2 to 4 of the course of myocardial infarction. The exudate was seen to contain much fibrin, alveolar macrophages, and erythrocytes. The lung tissue develops albuminous and fatty degeneration with the alveolar septa and lumina storing fibrin and fatty drops.

RESUMO

On the material of necropsies, structural changes were studied in the blood-air barrier in patients in the acute period of myocardial infarction developed in the wake of prior ventricular fibrillation. It has been ascertained that in the lungs, there develop significant alterative changes that are characterized by adipose degeneration and destruction of components of the surfactant system.

RESUMO

The functional and structural manifestations of lipid metabolism disorders in the lungs were studied in comparison with the changes of fatty acid composition of lipids of pulmonary tissue, venous and arterial blood, expirated air condensate and sweat during the development of cardiogenic shock in patients with myocardial infarction. It has been established that the lungs accumulate neutral lipids and lose phospholipids and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These changes are combined with intracellular lesion of osmiophilic lamellated corpuscles and disturbance of their excretion into alveolar cavities. At the same time the increase of polyunsaturated fatty acids content in expirated air condensate and sweat of patients is noted can be related to the elimination of the excess of these substrates from intercellular space.
