RESUMO

To cope with the challenges of autonomous driving in complex road environments, the need for collaborative multi-tasking has been proposed. This research direction explores new solutions at the application level and has become a hot topic of great interest. In the field of natural language processing and recommendation algorithms, the use of multi-task learning networks has been proven to reduce time, computing power, and storage usage in various task coupling cases. Due to the characteristics of the multi-task learning network, it has also been applied to visual road feature extraction in recent years. This article proposes a multi-task road feature extraction network that combines group convolution with transformer and squeeze excitation attention mechanisms. The network can simultaneously perform drivable area segmentation, lane line segmentation, and traffic object detection tasks. The experimental results of the BDD-100K dataset show that the proposed method performs well for different tasks and has a higher accuracy than similar algorithms. The proposed method provides new ideas and methods for the autonomous road perception of vehicles and the generation of highly accurate maps in visual-based autonomous driving processes.

RESUMO

As the Internet of Things (IoT) is predicted to deal with different problems based on big data, its applications have become increasingly dependent on visual data and deep learning technology, and it is a big challenge to find a suitable method for IoT systems to analyze image data. Traditional deep learning methods have never explicitly taken the color differences of data into account, but from the experience of human vision, colors play differently significant roles in recognizing things. This paper proposes a weight initialization method for deep learning in image recognition problems based on RGB influence proportion, aiming to improve the training process of the learning algorithms. In this paper, we try to extract the RGB proportion and utilize it in the weight initialization process. We conduct several experiments on different datasets to evaluate the effectiveness of our proposal, and it is proven to be effective on small datasets. In addition, as for the access to the RGB influence proportion, we also provide an expedient approach to get the early proportion for the following usage. We assume that the proposed method can be used for IoT sensors to securely analyze complex data in the future.

RESUMO

With the development of wireless networking technology, current Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices are equipped with multiple network access interfaces. Multipath TCP (MPTCP) technology can improve the throughput of data transmission. However, traditional MPTCP path management may cause problems such as data confusion and even buffer blockage, which severely reduces transmission performance. This research introduces machine learning algorithms into MPTCP path management, and proposes an automatic learning selection path mechanism based on MPTCP (ALPS-MPTCP), which can adaptively select some high-quality paths and transmit data at the same time. This paper designs a simulation experiment that compares the performance of four machine learning algorithms in judging path quality. The experimental results show that, considering the running time and accuracy, the random forest algorithm has the best performance in judging path quality.

RESUMO

A Hoffa fracture is an uncommon clinical entity typically seen in adults after high-energy trauma. Nonunion of a Hoffa fracture appears to be even more uncommon. To our knowledge, only three cases of nonunion of a Hoffa fracture have been documented in the literature to date, including two children and one adult. This article presents a case of an adult who had nonunion of a Hoffa fracture for 27 years and was treated by open reduction and internal fixation, and the varus deformity corrected with xenogenous bone graft. An excellent result has been achieved to date. This unusual case reminds us that we cannot neglect the possibility of nonunion of a cancellous bone fracture, especially the Hoffa fractures of the medial femoral condyle if they are treated nonoperatively. It also demonstrates that internal fixation with bone graft is effective, even for the 27-year Hoffa fracture.
