RESUMO
Kikuchi's disease, a rare cause of chronic cervical adenopathy, does not have specific clinical signs. There is a general deterioration in the condition of the patient accompanied by cervical adenopathy. The diagnosis is made histologically by the recognition of histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis. The prognosis is usually favorable with spontaneous resolution within a few weeks to a few months.
