RESUMO

The global COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted inadequate physical activity, which has an impact on public health. Government policies are critical in supporting public health and encouraging physical activity during COVID-19. In addition, collaboration between public and health authorities, influencers, and governments is essential in implementing public education campaigns to promote physical activity and healthy behaviors. In Indonesia, strategies to encourage physical activity among children can include home-based physical activity programs, online physical education classes, and outdoor activities that adhere to social distancing guidelines.

RESUMO

The health problems of low-income communities and their relationship to food insecurity are a widespread problem worldwide. Understanding the complex relationship between these two conditions of food insecurity and health outcomes is the focus of this study. In addressing these issues, managing food security and adopting comprehensive strategies that consider the broader public health of the poor and socially vulnerable requires a multi-pronged approach that integrates sustainable food systems, social protection interventions, community engagement, and nutrition-specific interventions. This study is useful for improving our understanding of the relationship between food insecurity and health outcomes, which ultimately contributes to better health and social resilience strategies.

RESUMO

This study aims to explore the interactions between the government, the tourism industry, universities, media, society, and the environment in the management and utilization of tourist villages in Bandung Regency, Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative-explorative method with a case study approach. Research analysis was assisted by the Nvivo 12 Plus qualitative analysis tool. The result's findings show that tourist villages require coordinated efforts from the government, tourism sector, universities, media, local communities, and the environment because in our opinion the environment/nature cannot only be viewed as an object but must rather be aligned with other important sectors in development programs. This connection may at the very least provide a means of enhancing the management of tourism villages and achieving sustainability and resilience. The contribution of this research provides insight into the process of developing creative tourism villages in realizing sustainability and resilience through tourism villages that pay attention to economic, social, infrastructure, and environmental dimensions.

RESUMO

This research aims to determine the influence of smart city policy and community needs on the effective implementation of such initiatives, considering the existence of a digital divide within Tangerang City. The digital divide presents a significant challenge for local governments as they strive to ensure equitable and inclusive access to adequate public services for the entire community. A quantitative method of explanatory survey approach was used in this research with questionnaires sent as part of the data collection process in 13 districts of Tangerang City. A total of 400 participants were utilized and data processing was carried out using the SEM-PLS model. Building a smart city was intended to enhance the quality of life by using urban information and technology to increase service effectiveness and cater to community needs. By harnessing information communication technology, the government proactively monitored city dynamics, drove positive changes, and enhanced residents' quality of life. This enabled direct engagement with both residents and infrastructure, making technology an indispensable component of smart city development. Through this mutual utilization, local governments and communities could equally benefit from the advantages and conveniences offered by smart city.
