BACKGROUND: Although the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the prevalence of cases with olfactory loss, other respiratory viruses can also cause this condition. We aimed to compare the prevalence of acute SARS-CoV-2 infection and other respiratory viruses in patients with sudden smell loss, and to assess the impact of SARS-CoV-2 viral load and co-infection on olfactory symptoms. METHODS: Patients with sudden smell loss were recruited in a multicenter prospective cohort study in 15 hospitals in Brazil. Clinical questionnaire, Connecticut Chemosensory Clinical Research Center (CCCRC) olfactory test and nasopharyngeal swab to perform a PCR-based respiratory viral panel were collected at first visit (day 0) and 30 and 60 days after recruitment. RESULTS: 188 of 213 patients presented positive test result for SARS-CoV-2, among which 65 were co-infected with other respiratory viruses (e.g., rhinovirus, enterovirus, and parainfluenza). 25 had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2. Patients in both SARSCoV-2 and non-SARS-CoV-2 groups had objective anosmia (less than 2 points according to the psychophysical olfactory CCCRC) at day 0, with no significant difference between them. Both groups had significant smell scores improvement after 30 and 60 days, with no difference between them. Co-infection with other respiratory viruses, and SARS-CoV-2 viral load did not impact olfactory scores. CONCLUSION: Patients with sudden smell loss associated with SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory viruses had similar presentation, with most participants initiating with anosmia, and total or near total recovery after 60 days. SARS-CoV-2 viral load and co-infections with other respiratory viruses were not associated with poorer olfactory outcomes.

AIMS: The aim of this work was to characterize and apply a polygalacturonase of Penicillium janthinellum new strain VI2R3M. METHODS AND RESULTS: The polygalacturonase obtained from P. janthinellum VI2R3M was incubated in cultures of passion fruit peel and was partially purified by ion-exchange chromatography and gel filtration. The enzyme showed a relative molecular mass of 102·0 kDa, maximum activity at pH 5·0, temperature of 50°C, 100% stablity at 50°C and 80% stablity at pH 3·0-5·0. The apparent Km , Vmax and Kcat values for hydrolyzing polygalacturonic acid were 2·56 mg ml-1 , 163·1 U mg-1 and 277 s-1 respectively. The polygalacturonase presented exo activity and was activated by Mg2+ . The juices treated with polygalacturonase presented increases in transmittance with reduction in colour. CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that the new lineage P. janthinellum VI2R3M presents a high yield of an exo-polygalacturonase induced by agro-industrial residues, with excellent activity and stability in acidic pH and at 50°C. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: The use of agro-industrial residue to obtain the polygalacturonase can contribute to a decrease enzyme production cost. The results of the activity, stability to acidic pH and excellent performance in the clarification of juices show that the enzyme is promising for industrial application.

Systemic scleroderma/sclerosis (SSc) is an autoimmune connective tissue disease, which can lead to esophageal motor dysfunction and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Nocturnal GERD symptoms may be associated with sleep disturbances, which in turn can drastically affect well-being and fatigue levels. We hypothesized that GERD symptoms would be associated with poorer sleep in patients with SSc. Rheumatologist established SSc patients completed the following questionnaires: the UCLA scleroderma clinical trial consortium gastrointestinal tract instrument (GIT) 2.0 questionnaire; the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI); the fatigue severity scale (FSS); the multidimensional gastrointestinal symptom severity index (GSSI). Poor sleep quality was defined by a PSQI total score >5. Questionnaires were completed by 287 patients [mean (SD) age = 59 (14) years; female = 243]. Poor sleep quality was identified in 194 (68%) patients. Patients with poor sleep quality reported less sleep time and increased fatigue compared to those with normal sleep scores. SSc patients with poor sleep had significantly higher GIT Reflux scores (P < .001), and poor sleep was more frequent in those with moderate/severe versus mild/no heartburn on GISSI (P < .001). Narcotic and antidepressant use was significantly more frequent in SSc patients with poor sleep quality. Multivariable logistic regression supported the association between GERD symptoms and poor sleep after controlling for age, sex, and body mass index (BMI) (2.53, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.52-4.25; P < .001). The association remained after controlling for narcotic and antidepressant use (2.20, 95% CI 1.29-3.73; P < .001). SSc patients who reported GERD symptoms were also more likely to report poor sleep quality. Future studies should examine mechanisms underlying nocturnal GERD symptoms in SSc patients, and the impact of improved GERD symptom control on sleep quality.

Membrane fusion is a highly regulated process that allows enveloped viruses to enter cells and replicate. Viral glycoproteins trigger membrane fusion by means of internal sequences known as fusion peptides. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) genome encodes the envelope glycoproteins E1 and E2, but their specific roles in the fusion step and the localization of the fusion peptide remain uncharacterized. Here, we studied the biophysics of the interactions between the glycoprotein E2 peptide HCV421-445 and four different micellar systems providing ionic, non-ionic and zwitterionic surfaces to investigate the importance of electrostatic interactions for peptide-membrane binding. Circular dichroism, fluorescence spectroscopy and calorimetry were used to characterize peptide-micelle interactions and structural changes. Fluorescence quenching showed that HCV421-445 interacts with SDS or CTAB ionic, n-OGP non-ionic and DPC zwitterionic micelles. The indole ring of Trp seems to anchor the peptide in micelles. Trp residues seem to be more deeply inserted in ionic and non-ionic micelles where peptide interactions are more stable than with DPC zwitterionic micelles. The interaction with zwitterionic micelles appears to occur at the surface. Both interaction types are exothermic because of peptide-micelle interactions and a gain of secondary structure in the helical conformation. HCV421-445 interacts with detergent monomers and micelles. Peptide-micelle interaction is pH-independent. HCV421-445 interacts with membranes, promoting aggregation and coalescence of vesicles with content leakage, suggesting that HCV421-445 may participate in membrane fusion. This structural characterization contributes to our understanding of the molecular process that promotes fusion, which is important in the further development of new antiviral therapies.

OBJECTIVE: To identify cases of severe maternal morbidity (SMM) during pregnancy and childbirth, their characteristics, and to test the feasibility of scaling up World Health Organization criteria for identifying women at risk of a worse outcome. DESIGN: Multicentre cross-sectional study. SETTING: Twenty-seven referral maternity hospitals from all regions of Brazil. POPULATION: Cases of SMM identified among 82 388 delivering women over a 1-year period. METHODS: Prospective surveillance using the World Health Organization's criteria for potentially life-threatening conditions (PLTC) and maternal near-miss (MNM) identified and assessed cases with severe morbidity or death. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Indicators of maternal morbidity and mortality; sociodemographic, clinical and obstetric characteristics; gestational and perinatal outcomes; main causes of morbidity and delays in care. RESULTS: Among 9555 cases of SMM, there were 140 deaths and 770 cases of MNM. The main determining cause of maternal complication was hypertensive disease. Criteria for MNM conditions were more frequent as the severity of the outcome increased, all combined in over 75% of maternal deaths. CONCLUSIONS: This study identified around 9.5% of MNM or death among all cases developing any severe maternal complication. Multicentre studies on surveillance of SMM, with organised collaboration and adequate study protocols can be successfully implemented, even in low-income and middle-income settings, generating important information on maternal health and care to be used to implement appropriate health policies and interventions. TWEETABLE ABSTRACT: Surveillance of severe maternal morbidity was proved to be possible in a hospital network in Brazil.

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is the main cause of chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) worldwide. The risk for the development of HCC increases with the severity of liver inflammation and fibrosis. The hepatic inflammation caused by HCV involves host regulatory immune response, which is mediated by cytokines with anti-viral role upon the interaction of viral polypeptides with innate and adaptive immunity. Two cytokines; tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) play key roles in the regulation of cellular immune response in HCV infection. The aim of the present study was to determine the levels of IL-10 and TNF-α, as well as the ratio of TNF-α and IL-10 serum levels in patients with HCV and HCC caused by HCV (HCC-HCV). The study included 173 patients with chronic HCV. TNF-α and IL-10 serum levels were measured by ELISA (R&D Systems, Inc.). In the present study, 54 patients presented liver mild fibrosis, 68 had severe fibrosis and 51 patients had HCC. After adjustment in the multivariate regression analysis, the following variables remained significantly associated with HCC-HCV occurrence: diabetes (p=0.012 OR 10.44 CI 1.66-65.60), IL-10 lower levels (p<0.0001 OR 0.83 CI 0.78-0.89) and TNF-α higher levels (p<0.0001 OR 1.19 CI 1.11-1.28). Individuals with HCC presented higher TNF-α/IL-10 ratio than those with fibrosis grade F4, F3 or F0+F1+F2 (p=0.0003, p<0.0001, p<0.0001, respectively). Patients with HCC were associated to higher index TNF-α/IL-10 ratio, suggesting that the unbalanced production of these cytokines may represent progression to the liver disease severity in HCV infected patients.

In northeastern Brazil, the schistosomiasis is historically endemic and considered as a public health problem. The Schistosoma mansoni São Lourenço da Mata (SLM-PE, Brazil) strain was used in several paper already published; however, morphological and morphometric studies about this strain was never done. In this work, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used in morphological and morphometric analysis of cercariae and adult worms. Cercariae were obtained from Biomphalaria glabrata snails and adult worms from mice, both infected by the S. mansoni SLM strain, fixed and prepared for SEM. The results showed that cercariae of S. mansoni measures 254.9 µm of length. The bodies are covered by spines, with a ventral sucker, an oral sucker with sensory receivers, and a pair of penetration glands in the head. The area of tail and body and the distance between suckers were 3,011.77, 1,530.32, and 42.9 µm, respectively. Adult worms of S. mansoni were divided into three main regions: the anterior, medial, and posterior, besides the gynecophoral canal in males. The measure of adult worms of S. mansoni was 4 mm males and 5 mm females. The anterior region length of the male was 470 µm and of the female 271 µm. All the parameters were assayed in ten samples. The morphometric values found in the SLM strain were smaller than other S. mansoni strains described in the literature as well as other helminths. This is the first morphological and morphometric study with the SLM strain of S. mansoni being extremely important for improving control strategies and life quality of the local population.

Sex steroid hormones play an important role in fetal development, brain functioning and neuronal protection. Growing evidence highlights the positive effects of these hormones against brain damage induced by neonatal hypoxia-ischemia (HI). This systematic review with meta-analysis aims to verify the efficacy of sex steroid hormones in preventing HI-induced brain damage in rodent models. The protocol was registered at PROSPERO and a total of 22 articles were included. Moderate to large effects were observed in HI animals treated with sex steroid hormones in reducing cerebral infarction size and cell death, increasing neuronal survival, and mitigating neuroinflammatory responses and astrocyte reactivity. A small effect was evidenced for cognitive function, but no significant effect for motor function; moreover, a high degree of heterogeneity was observed. In summary, data suggest that sex steroid hormones, such as progesterone and 17ß estradiol, improve morphological and cellular outcomes following neonatal HI. Further research is paramount to examine neurological function during HI recovery and standardization of methodological aspects is imperative to reduce the risk of spurious findings.

Management programs and efficient techniques are necessary to recover degraded ecosystems. The sewage sludge is rich in nitrogen (N) and with the potential to fertilize Sapindus saponaria L. (Sapinales: Sapindaceae), used in the recovery of degraded areas; this can affect the insect fauna. The study's objective was to evaluate, for 24 months, the abundance of chewing insects, dipterans, pollinators, and predators on S. saponaria plants fertilized with or without dehydrated sewage sludge in a degraded area. The experimental design was completely randomized (with the same characteristics) with two treatments (with or without dehydrated sewage sludge) and 24 replicates, each with one plant. The abundance of Anastrepha sp. (Tephritidae), Cerotoma sp. (Chrysomelidae), Curculionidae, Musca domestica L. (Muscidae), Mantis religiosa L. (Mantodea: Mantidae), Oxyopidae, Salticidae, Tettigoniidae (Orthoptera), and Teudis sp. (Anyphaenidae) was higher on fertilized plants. The abundances of Teudis sp. and Tmarus sp. (Thomisidae) and M. religiosa and Teudis sp. were positively correlated with chewing insects and Diptera, respectively. The population increase of insects and spiders on S. saponaria plants fertilized with dehydrated sewage sludge (bigger crowns) has shown to be suitable for recovering degraded areas with a higher number of niches and better food quality, improving the ecological indices of the area.

Sapindus saponaria L. (Sapindaceae) is a pioneer species used in programs to recover degraded areas. The trees also assist in the pest control of some insects due to the composition of saponins on their leaves. In addition, these chemical components are important to pharmaceutical product production. The objective was to evaluate the impact of spatial distribution, indices and ecological relationship of arthropods on S. saponaria leaves to preserve the balance of biodiversity. Aggregated distribution of arthropods was observed; the numbers of phytophagous arthropods were higher on the adaxial leaf face than on the abaxial part. Only Aleyrodidae (Hemiptera) had a higher presence on the abaxial leaf face of S. saponaria saplings. Abundance, diversity, and species richness of natural enemies correlated positively with phytophagous and pollinators insects. On the other hand, the number of Lyriomyza sp. mines correlated negatively with Pseudomyrmex termitarius (Smith) (Hymenoptera: Formicidae). All this information can assist and guide integrated pest management programs.

The Baixada Maranhense Environmental Protection Area of the Brazilian state of Maranhão encompasses a biologically rich region that includes the basins of four principal rivers, the Mearim, Pericumã, Pindaré, and Turiaçu, which form a complex of wetlands. The present study provides a comprehensive inventory of the fish fauna of the rivers that drain the Baixada Maranhense based on the identification of voucher specimens that were deposited in a scientific collection. Expeditions were conducted between 2014 and 2020. The inventory identified a total of 100 fish species representing 79 genera, 34 families, and 11 orders, which are found in both freshwater and estuarine environments. Six (Potamotrygon orbignyi, Leporinus piau, Moenkhausia loweae, Serrasalmus spilopleura, Pachypops fourcroi and Peckoltia greedoi) of the 100 taxa identified here are considered to be new records for one or more of the basins surveyed during this study, based on the existing data, while four - Colossoma macropomum, Megaleporinus macrocephalus, Cichla sp. and Cichla kelberi - are not native. The most speciose orders were the Siluriformes and Characiformes, while the most diverse families were the Loricariidae, Characidae, Auchenipteridae, Cichlidae, and Serrasalmidae. These data are consistent with the findings of most of the previous studies of freshwater ecosystems in the Neotropical region, in particular those of the rivers of Maranhão. The results of the present study represent an important advance in the understanding of the diversity of the fish fauna of the Mearim, Pericumã, Pindaré, and Turiaçu rivers, which are still poorly studied, and have likely had their diversity underestimated up to now.

Radical prostatectomy (RP) has been found to be curative in most cases of prostate cancer (PCa); however, 20-40% of patients have a biochemical recurrence (BCR) of the disease. Prostatic specific antigen prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels are used to assess patient prognosis after surgery; however, there is no consensus about the optimal PSA level that defines BCR. Detection of very low volume disease and early detection of the disease are very important predictors for clinical outcomes in BCR, as early salvage radiation therapy (SRT) provides a possibility of a cure. The aim of this study is to review briefly about important and controversies in radiotherapy after radical prostatectomy. No guideline exists to select ideal patients for each treatment, but there are tools currently being developed; genetic tests and prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography (PET) may be able to identify patients with worse outcomes who would benefit from more treatment.

The objectives of this research were: (i) to Estimate the quantitative occurrence of Ceratitis capitata captured in McPhail traps in cultivating guava; (ii) to investigate the spatial distribution patterns of C. capitata in guava orchards; (iii) to compare the index of the FTD (fruit fly/trap/day) to the type of spatial distribution of C. capitata with the Negative Binomial to set the best time for control of the population in the context of Integrated Pest Management; (iv) Verify the influence of the pruning, spraying, and mowing on the distributions of medfly in guava. Was used 30 McPhail traps installed in three commercial orchards of guava. The spatial distribution was evaluated by the regression model with the Taylor power method, from the log of variance to the log of the mean number of individuals. Ceratitis capitata has aggregated distribution behavior. The potential risk of economic damage is associated with aggregate distribution behavior. The beginning of this distribution indicates the most appropriate time for using control techniques.

Polyphenols, condensed tannins, total flavonoids, total carotenoids, lycopene and ascorbic acid were determined besides verifying antioxidant capacity of peel, pulp and desserts (with and without sugar) of red guava (Psidium guajava L.) as well as the effects of lycopene on cytotoxicity, cell cycle and apoptosis on breast cancer cell line MCF-7. Guava peel contains 90% of the total ascorbic acid and heat treatment does not modify bioactive compounds content and antioxidant capacity. Sugar addition decreased guava pulp functional capacity. After heat treatment, lycopene content was stable, but sugar addition reduced its concentration by 57%. Lycopene (10 µM) extracted from guava and standard presented the same cytotoxic effect on MCF-7 cells. Lycopene influenced over G2-M transition check-point of the cell cycle and increased apoptotic cells percentages compared to untreated cells. The consumption of in natura guava, especially with peel can be considered an important source of bioactive compounds.

Caryocar brasiliense Camb. (Malpighiales: Caryocaraceae) trees are widely distributed throughout the Cerrado ecosystem. The fruits of C. brasiliense trees are used by humans for food and as the main income source in many communities. C. brasiliense conservation is seriously threatened due to habitat loss caused by the land-use change. Sucking insects constitute an important ecological driver that potentially impact C. brasiliense survival in degraded environments. In addition, insects sampling methodologies for application in studies related to the conservation of C. brasiliense are poorly developed. In this study, sucking insects (Hemiptera) and their predators were recorded in three vertical strata of Caryocar brasiliense canopies. The distribution of sucking species showed vertical stratification along the canopy structure of C. brasiliense. The basal part of the canopy had the highest numbers of sucking insects Aphis gossypii (Glover 1877) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) and Bemisia tabaci (Genn. 1889) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae), and their predators Chrysoperla sp. (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae), spiders (Araneae), and Zelus armillatus (Lep. & Servi., 1825) (Hemiptera: Reduviidae). Predators' distribution follows the resource availability and preferred C. brasiliense tree parts with a higher abundance of prey.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the levels of environmental contamination in a protected area in the Brazilian Amazon. For this, two areas were chosen along the Mearim River: the reference area (A1) and the potentially contaminated area (A2), where water samples were collected, for physicochemical and microbiological analyses, as well as specimens of Hoplias malabaricus, for the evaluation of biometric data and incidence of branchial lesions. The physicochemical analyzes of the water from both areas showed contamination (low levels of dissolved oxygen, tubidity and high iron concentrations, especially in A2). The microbiological analyzes showed that all water samples showed total coliform values higher than those acceptable by CONAMA and WHO (with higher values in A2), in addition to E. coli values higher than those allowed by legislation in A2. Regarding biometric data, male and female fishes were significantly longer and heavier in A1 during the dry and rain seasons and the gonadosomatic index also showed higher values in A1 than in A2 in both seasons. H. malabaricus showed gill lesions of minimal to moderate pathological importance in A1 and A2, indicating that specimens from both areas of the Mearim River showed biological responses to contamination. The observed changes in the water quality, bimetic parameters and the histological analyzes of the specimens of H. malabaricus directly reflect on the quality and health of the fishes in the Mearim River, and point to the urgent need for prevention and remediation of contamination in these ecosystems.

Nevirapine (11-cyclopropyl-5,11-dihydro-4-methyl-6H-dipyrido[3,2-b:2',3'-e][1,4]diazepin-6-one, NVP) is a non-nucleoside HIV-1 reverse transcriptase inhibitor used to prevent mother-to-child transmission of the virus. However, severe hepatotoxicity and serious adverse cutaneous effects have raised concerns about the safety of NVP administration. NVP metabolism yields several phenol-type derivatives conceivably capable of undergoing further metabolic oxidation to electrophilic quinoid species that could react with bionucleophiles. The covalent adducts thus formed might be at the genesis of toxic responses. As an initial step to test this hypothesis, we synthesized the phenolic metabolite, 2-hydroxy-NVP, and investigated its oxidation in vitro. Using potassium nitrosodisulfonate and sodium periodate as model oxidants, we obtained evidence for fast generation of an electrophilic quinone-imine, which readily underwent hydrolytic conversion to fully characterized spiro derivatives, 1'-cyclopropyl-4-methyl-1H,1'H-spiro[pyridine-2,2'-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine]-3,4',6(3'H)-trione in aqueous media and 1'-cyclopropyl-4-methyl-1'H,2H-spiro[pyridine-3,2'-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine]-2,4',6(1H,3'H)-trione in non-aqueous media. The spiro compound generated in aqueous solution underwent subsequent hydrolytic degradation of the NVP ring system, whereas the one formed in non-aqueous media was stable to hydrolysis. The product profile observed with the chemical oxidants in aqueous solution was replicated using lactoperoxidase-mediated oxidation of 2-hydroxy-NVP. These observations suggest that metabolic activation of NVP, via Phase I oxidation to 2-hydroxy-NVP and subsequent generation of a quinone-imine, could occur in vivo and play a role in NVP-induced toxicity.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of physical exercise in terms of maternal/perinatal outcomes and the perception of quality of life (QoL) in pregnant obese and overweight women. DESIGN: A randomised controlled clinical trial. SETTING: The Prenatal Outpatient Clinic of the Women's Integral Healthcare Centre (CAISM-UNICAMP) at the University of Campinas, Campinas, Brazil. POPULATION: Eighty-two pregnant women (age ≥ 18 years; pre-gestational body mass index ≥ 26 kg/m(2) ; gestational age 14-24 weeks). METHODS: Women were randomised into two groups: women in one group exercised under supervision and received home exercise counselling (the 'study group'; n = 40) and women in the other group followed the routine prenatal care programme (the 'control group'; n = 42). MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Primary outcomes were gestational weight gain during the programme and excessive maternal weight gain. Secondary outcomes were increased arterial blood pressure, perinatal outcomes and QoL (WHOQOL-BREF). RESULTS: In the study group, 47% of pregnant women had weight gains above the recommended limit, compared with 57% of women in the control group (P = 0.43). There was no difference in gestational weight gain between the groups. Overweight pregnant women who exercised gained less weight during the entire pregnancy (10.0 ± 1.7 kg versus 16.4 ± 3.9 kg, respectively; P = 0.001) and after entry into the study (5.9 ± 4.3 kg versus 11.9 ± 1.5 kg, respectively; P = 0.021) compared with women in the control group. Arterial blood pressure was similar between the groups over time. There was no difference in perinatal outcome or QoL. CONCLUSIONS: The exercise programme was not associated with control of gestational weight gain in our sample as a whole, but was beneficial for lower gestational weight gain in overweight women. Exercise was not associated with adverse perinatal outcomes and did not affect variation in arterial blood pressure or the perception of QoL.

Fertilization with dehydrated sewage sludge can speed up the recovery process of degraded areas due to nutrients concentration, favoring the development of pioneer plants such as Acacia auriculiformis A. Cunn. ex Beth (Fabales: Fabaceae) and the emergence of insects. This study aimed the evaluation of chewing, pollinating insects, predators, their ecological indices and relationships on A. auriculiformis plants fertilized with dehydrated sewage sludge. The experimental design was completely randomized with two treatments (with and without dehydrated sewage sludge) and 24 repetitions. The prevalence of chewing insects Parasyphraea sp. (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), Nasutitermes sp. (Blattodea: Termitidae), and Tropidacris collaris (Stoll, 1813) (Orthoptera: Romaleidae), defoliation, and ecological indices of abundance of Coleoptera and Orthoptera were observed on fertilized A. auriculiformis. Acacia auriculiformis plants, with a superior number of branches/tree, revealed greater abundance of Coleoptera and Orthoptera, species richness of pollinating insects, defoliation, numbers of Parasyphraea sp. and T. collaris. The ones with larger leaves/branches displayed greater abundance of species richness of Coleoptera and Diabrotica speciosa (Germar, 1824) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). Therefore, the use of A. auriculiformis plants, fertilized with dehydrated sewage sludge, is promising in the recovery of degraded areas due to the ecological indices increase of chewing and pollinators insects and spiders in the analyzed area.
