RESUMO

Currently, adsorbents with high adsorption performance for eliminating pollutants from discharged wastewater have received many researchers' attention. To this aim, a novel AMXGO absorbent was fabricated by intercalating graphene oxide (GO) into alkalized MXene (Alk-MXene) layer which exhibited high efficacy for the removal of cationic Malachite Green (MG) and anionic Congo Red (CR). Analysis of FTIR, XRD, SEM and TG presented that AMXGO absorbent have a typical three-dimensional layer by layer structure and abundant oxygen-containing groups and its thermal stability was remarkably improved. BET results elucidated that AMXGO1 adsorbent has larger specific surface area and pore volume (16.686 m2 g-1, 0.04733 cm3 g-1) as compared to Alk-MXene (4.729 m2 g-1, 0.02522 cm3 g-1). A dependence of adsorption performance on mass ratio between Alk-MXene and GO, initial dye concentration, contact time, temperature and pH was revealed. Maximum adsorption capacity of MG (1111.6 mg/g) and CR (1133.7 mg/g) were particularly found for AMXGO1 absorbent with a mass ratio of 3:1 and its removal for both dyes were higher than 92%. The adsorption process of AMXGO1 adsorbent for both MG and CR complies with pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Freundlich isotherm model. In addition, adsorption mechanism was explored that synergism effects as electrostatic attraction, π-π conjugates, intercalation adsorption and pore filling were the main driving force for the high adsorption performance of dye. Therefore, AMXGO adsorbent has a potential application prospect in the purification of dye wastewater.

RESUMO

We show here the first radical route for the direct photosynthesis of AuCN oligomers with different sizes and shapes, as evidenced by TEM observations, from an Au nanoparticle/benzaldehyde/CH(3)CN ternary system in air under UV-light irradiation. This photochemical route is green, mild, and universal, which makes itself distinguishable from the common cyanidation process. Several elementary reaction steps, including the strong C-C bond dissociation of CH(3)CN and subsequent •CN radical addition to Au, have been suggested to be critical in the formation of AuCN oligomers based on the identification of •CN radical by in situ EPR and the radical trapping technique, and other reaction products by GC-MS and (1)H NMR, and DFT calculations. The resulting solid-state AuCN oligomers exhibit unique spectroscopic characters that may be a result of the shorter Au-Au distances (namely, aurophilicity) and/or special polymer-like structures as compared with gold cyanide derivatives in the aqueous phase. The nanosized AuCN oligomers supported on mesoporous silica showed relatively good catalytic activity on the homogeneous annulation of salicylaldehyde with phenylacetylene to afford isoflavanones employing PBu(3) as the cocatalyst under moderate conditions, which also serves as evidence for the successful production of AuCN oligomers.

RESUMO

With the application and development of high-throughput sequencing technology in life and health sciences, massive multi-omics data brings the problem of efficient management and utilization. Database development and biocuration are the prerequisites for the reuse of these big data. Here, relying on China National GeneBank (CNGB), we present CNGB Sequence Archive (CNSA) for archiving omics data, including raw sequencing data and its further analyzed results which are organized into six objects, namely Project, Sample, Experiment, Run, Assembly and Variation at present. Moreover, CNSA has created a correlation model of living samples, sample information and analytical data on some projects. Both living samples and analytical data are directly correlated with the sample information. From either one, information or data of the other two can be obtained, so that all data can be traced throughout the life cycle from the living sample to the sample information to the analytical data. Complying with the data standards commonly used in the life sciences, CNSA is committed to building a comprehensive and curated data repository for storing, managing and sharing of omics data. We will continue to improve the data standards and provide free access to open-data resources for worldwide scientific communities to support academic research and the bio-industry. RESUMO

A non-porous and amorphous fluoropolymer PFN with low dielectric constant of 2.33 and dielectric loss less than 1.2 × 10(-3) is reported here. PFN also exhibits good mechanical properties and high thermostability. This study is a new example of a fully dense material showing a low k value and having good thermo/mechanical properties.
