Weights and heights in Surinam Red Cross male candidate blood donors

More than 13,000 18-55 year old Red Cross male candidate blood donors have been examined during the 1959-1978 period. In 14 tables the results are presented, mainly divided into ethnic and age groups. The means of the weights and heights are higher than encountered previously and afterwards. However, our group consists in general of rather healthy people, and therefore the findings approximate normal values. The medians are somewhat lower than the means.
