RESUMO
A brief resume of Actinotherapy using Ultraviolet radiations as employed in Physiotherapy in Jamaica is presented. Reference has been made to the production and to some characteristics of these radiations; also to the application of the Electronic Quartz Mercury Vapour lamp, the Kromayer, in treatment of the open wound.
