RESUMO

Objective: The objective of this scoping review is to understand the extent and type of evidence concerning the relationship between children's and maternal nutrition and diet in the first 1,000 days of a child's life and the risk of childhood cancer. Introduction: Childhood cancer is considered rare compared to tumors that affect adults. However, its origin is not well established, and modifiable risk factors must be analyzed. Children's and maternal dietary and nutritional exposures in the first thousand days of a child's life may be significant risk predictors. Inclusion criteria: The population is the children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer (0-19 years old). The concept is the children's and maternal nutrition and diet in the first 1,000 days of a child's life. The context is the risk of childhood cancer. Methods: The scoping review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute Manual for Scoping Review and the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Review. Cohort and case-control studies published in PubMed/Medline, LILACS, Embase, and Scopus will be included with no restrictions on the year of publication or the language. Other articles will be identified using three artificial intelligence tools. The results will be presented using a narrative synthesis and results mapping

RESUMO

Objective: This scoping review aims to map the dietary and nutritional risk factors that in-creasetheriskofrecurrenceoranewprimarytumorinsurvivorsofpediatricandado-lescent cancer. Introduction: Pediatric and adolescent cancer survivors are more likely to recurrence or develop a new primary tumor. Diet and nutrition play a nessential role in favoring this scenario. Inclusion criteria: We will guide the research question by the PCC (population, concept, and context) strategy, adapted from the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Manual. The population is survivors of pediatric and adolescent cancer, the concept is dietary and nutritional risk factors, and the context is recurrence or new primary tumors. Wewill include cohort and case-control studies. Methods: We will conduct a scoping review following the PRISMA-ScR checklist using the ayyansoftwareandMicrosoftExcel.WewillincludestudiespublishedinPubmed/Medline and Embase with no publication year or language restriction

RESUMO

The African Natural Products Database (ANPDB) is a collection of natural product databases from various regions of Africa, it is a repository of natural products (NPs) isolated from native African organisms. It consists of the Northern African Natural Products Database (NANPDB) and the Eastern African Natural Products Database (EANPDB), covering data from 1962 to 2019. The information is derived from mainstream natural product journals as well as MSc and PhD theses from African universities. The database contains data compounds isolated from source organisms, primarily plants, but also microorganisms, animals, and marine sources. In addition to the names and molecular structures of compounds, ANPDB provides details about source organisms, biological activities (such as antimalarial, anticancer, and cytotoxic effects), modes of action (when available), and references.

RESUMO

The World Pharmacopoeia Genome Database Project aim to generate genomics data for herb species from Pharmacopoeias of China, USA, Europe, Japan, Korea, India, Iran, Egypt and Brazil. The goal of GPGD is to realize the open-access and sharing of herb genomics data, to promote the data utilization in decomposition of biosynthesis and regulation mechanisms of key secondary metabolites, and finally to accelerate breeding of superior cultivars. Based on the previous research results of the herbgenomics team, the data including genome, transcriptome, superbarcode and DNA barcode along with abundant newly generated data were arranged and combined to build the database. GPGD, aimed to collect genomic resources of medicinal species from major pharmacopoeias worldwide and other related species.

RESUMO

PlantPepDB is a manually curated database of plant peptides having different functions and therapeutic activities. It contains peptide entries collected from databases and published research articles. Each entry provides comprehensive information about a peptide that includes its sequence, functional information, source, physicochemical properties, tertiary structure, etc. These peptides have been collected and complied from published databases and research articles. On the basis of their activities, the peptides are classified in 9 categories. The search facilitates the user to search for any field and display any field (e.g. peptide name, plant source, peptide family, peptide name, etc.). User can browse the peptides on the basis of Plant Classification, Peptide Family, Peptide Activity and Sequence Length Range.
