O trabalho no contexto da reestruturação produtiva: determinações históricas e a relação com a saúde / The work in the context of productive restructuring: historical determinations and the relationship to health

RESUMO

O artigo efetua a análise do trabalho em suas dimensões universais e suas transformações no âmbito do modo de produção capitalista e aborda as sua implicações na saúde dos trabalhadores. Destaca, assim, a relação do trabalho com o processo de saúde-doença. Focaliza a abordagem na reestruturação produtiva advinda do enfrentamento à crise de acumulação do início dos anos 1970. Nessa análise, aponta as alterações tecnológicas nas formas de gestão e organização do trabalho e as relações de terceirização, a partir do que se estabelece a relação do trabalho com o processo de saúde-doença e os mecanismos de ocultamento desse processo, na lógica do capital.

ABSTRACT

The article makes the analysis of the work in its universal dimensions, and its transformations within the capitalist mode of production and discusses its implications to workers' health. It emphasizes therefore the relation between work and the health-illness process. It focuses on the productive restructuring arising from the confrontation to the capital accumulation crisis in the early 1970s. Also on this analysis, the article highlights the technological changes in the forms of management and work organization and the outsourcing relations. From there, it is stablished the relation between work and the health-disease process, and the mechanisms of concealment of this process, on the logic of capital.
