RESUMO

The association of temperature and air pollutants is a very prominent factor which significantly affects human health and may cause diseases such as respiratory illness, cardiovascular mortality in spreading of different pathogenic diseases. The pandemic due to covid-19 infection may be affected by temperature and concentration of pollutants. Jaipur is one of the most polluted cities in Rajasthan of India as per World Health Organization, 2016; also, Jaipur city has a hot semi-arid climate with extremely hot summers. This fact tempered us to examine the impact of the association of temperature and pollutants on corona-virus infection in humans over Jaipur. Analysis was conducted by correlating air pollutants (PM10, PM2.5, NO2, SO2, CO) on seasonal variations because the temperature is one of the major factors in changing seasons. Association between the number of Covid cases and temperature in Jaipur was observed during December 2019 to December 2020. Seasonal analysis indicated that the intensity of Covid-19 infection varied according to increase or decrease in temperature.

RESUMO

Brain function activity is regulated by several mechanisms of genetic and epigenetic factors such as histone modelling, DNA methylation, and non-coding RNA. Alterations in these regulatory mechanisms affect the normal development of neurons that causes Neuropsychiatric Disorders (ND). However, it is required to analyse the functional significance of neuropsychiatric disorders associated with a molecular mechanism to bring about therapeutic advances in early diagnosis and treatment of the patients. The CRISPR/Cas 9 (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) genome editing tools have revolutionized multiple genome and epigenome manipulation targets the same time. This review discussed the possibilities of using CRISPR/Cas 9 tools during molecular mechanism in the ND as a therapeutic approach to overcome ND that is caused due to genetic and epigenetic abnormalities.

RESUMO

Spices have been known for their various health activities; however, they also possess the allergic potential for the respiratory system and the skin as they are fine particulate matter. Persons involved in spice agriculture and food industries are at greater risk since they are exposed to a considerable amount of combustible dust, which may be the cause of fire and explosion and adversely affect the health. These workers may experience allergy, long-term and short-term respiratory issues including occupational asthma, dermatitis, etc. Some spices induce T cell-based inflammatory reaction upon contact recognition of the antigen. Antigen Presenting Cells (APC) on binding to the causative metabolite results in activation of macrophages by allergen cytokine interleukin (IL)-12 and tumor necrosis factor-beta (TNF). Cross-reactivity for protein allergens is another factor which seems to be a significant trigger for the stimulation of allergic reactions. Thus, it was imperative to perform a systematic review along with bioinformatics based representation of some evident allergens has been done to identify the overall conservation of epitopes. In the present manuscript, we have covered a multifold approach, i.e., to categorize the spice particles based on a clear understanding about nature, origin, mechanisms; to assess metabolic reactions of the particles after exposure as well as knowledge on the conditions of exposure along with associated potential health effects. Another aim of this study is to provide some suggestions to prevent and to control the exposure up to some extent.
