Resumo
O presente artigo tem como objetivo descrever o tratamento de três diferentes apresentações de piometria. O primeiro paciente demonstrava a doença no corno uterino remanescente após uma histerectomia parcial; o segundo e o quarto possuíam piometria de cérvix fechada e, o terceiro, de coto uterino. No primeiro animal empregou-se a cirurgia laparoscópica com quatro portais, já nos demais se optou pela combinação do acesso minimamente invasivo com o convencional. Todos os casos evoluíram a contento, demonstrando que as técnicas utilizadas são efetivas no manejo dessa doença em cães(AU)This study aims at describing the treatment of three different kinds of pyometra in dogs. The first patient has the disease in the body of the uterus, the second has shown pyometra with closed cervix, and the third has had this disease in the reminiscent uterine body. In the first animal it was used the laparoscopic surgery with four portals, but in the others were used the laparoscopic-assisted surgery. The patients have shown an uneventful post-operative period. The results of this study have shown that the techniques used were appropriate for the treatment of this disease in dogs(AU)
