Resumo
Este trabalho tem como objetivo, determinar a prevalência de cisticercose bovina em animais abatidos em frigoríficos de Inspeção Estadual do RS. Conscientizar a população de que a erradicação da cisticercose só será possível após serem tomadas sérias medidas preventivas como inspeção sanitária, mudanças de hábitos alimentares, adoção de políticas de melhoramentos de infra-estrutura. Os dados foram obtidos de abates realizados no RS entre 1992 e 2001 fornecidos pelo Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento através da Delegacia Federal do RS.(AU)This work having as objective, when determining the bovine prevalence of cysticercosis in abated animalsin cold storage rooms of State inspection of the RS, acquiring knowledge the population of that the cysticercosis'seradication of will only be possible after to be taken serious writ of prevention as sanitary inspection, changes ofalimentary habits, adoption of politics of infrastructure improvement.
