Resumo

Apresenta-se estudo sobre os servidores tecnico-administrativos em educacao (TAE) da Universidade Federal da Paraiba (UFPB) com o objetivo macro de analisar a producao tecnico-cientifica dos TAE do Centro de Ciencias Humanas, Sociais e Agrarias (CCHSA / UFPB) Campus III, Bananeiras Paraiba (PB). A partir dai, enunciam-se os objetivos especificos: (1) categorizar o perfil dos tecnico-administrativos em educacao do CCHSA / UFPB com maior producao; (2) mapear a producao tecnico-cientifica; (3) identificar os canais de comunicacao utilizados para disseminar tal producao; (4) detectar a tematica dos diversos tipos de producao tecnico-cientifica dos TAE. Frente aos objetivos pretendidos, apresentam- se os pressupostos: (1) o perfil dos TAE que mais produzem sao os que possuem formacao academica de nivel superior, mesmo quando ocupam cargos / funcoes que exigem nivel de escolaridade menor; (2) os servidores TAE da UFPB possuem producao tecnico-cientifica, sendo os artigos de periodicos cientificos, comunicacoes de eventos e capitulos de livros os canais de comunicacao mais utilizados; (3) a producao tecnico-cientifica dos TAE concentra- se nas areas / tematicas educacao, administracao, agronomia, zootecnia, ciencia e tecnologia de alimentos. Para consecucao dos objetivos, no que concerne a revisao de literatura, recorre- se a fontes impressas ou eletronicas que versam sobre os topicos comunicacao cientifica e ciencia da informacao / modalidades de comunicacao / producao tecnico-cientifica, e tambem sobre a realidade das instituicoes de ensino superior no Brasil, com enfase para a realidade da UFPB. Em termos metodologicos, referente a tipologia da pesquisa, trata-se de pesquisa exploratoria, a partir de abordagem quali-quantitativa, realizada por meio de pesquisa bibliografica e documental, isto e, o corpus resulta de consulta ao curriculo Lattes de todos os 131 servidores TAE do CCHSA / UFPB para identificacao e estudo da producao, no periodo de 2013 a 2016. A partir de entao, a analise de dados foi do tipo descritiva via analise estatistica simples, com uso da tecnica da analise de conteudo, atraves da qual se categoriza a tematica das producoes. Apos mapeamento da producao tecnico-cientifica, verifica-se que os pressupostos levantados se confirmam. O perfil do tecnico-administrativo em educacao com maior producao e constituido por profissionais com formacao de nivel superior, mesmo quando ocupam cargos / funcoes de menor nivel. Os canais de comunicacao mais utilizados sao anais de eventos, apresentacao de trabalho e palestra, artigos de periodicos, cursos de curta duracao ministrados, livros e capitulos de livros, e desenvolvimento de material instrucional. A tematica da producao concentra-se nas areas Ciencias Agrarias, Ciencias Sociais Aplicadas e Ciencias Humanas. Ao final, apresentam-se as consideracoes finais, a lista de fontes consultadas e os apendices.

It presents a study about the technical-administrative servants in education (TAE) of the Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB), with macro aim at analyzing the technical-scientific production of the TAE of the Center for Human, Social and Agrarian Sciences (CCHSA / UFPB) Campus III, Bananeiras - Paraiba (PB). From there, the specific objectives are stated: (1) to categorize the profile of the technical-administrative in education of the CCHSA / UFPB with higher production; (2) map the technical-scientific production; (3) identify the communication channels used to disseminate such production; (4) to detect the thematic of the various types of technical-scientific production of the TAE. In view of this, the following assumptions are presented: (1) the profile of the TAE that produce the most are those with higher education, even when they hold positions that require lower level of education; (2) the TAE servants of the UFPB have technical-scientific production, being the articles of scientific journals, event communications and book chapters the most used communication channels; (3) the technical-scientific production of the TAE is concentrated in the areas/thematic of education, administration, agronomy, zootechnics, science and technology of food. In order to achieve the objectives, with regard to literature review, it resorted to printed or electronic sources that deal with topics of scientific communication and information science / communication modalities / technical-scientific production, as well as the reality of the institutions of higher education in Brazil, with emphasis on the reality of UFPB. In methodological terms, referring to the typology of the research, it is an exploratory research, based on a qualitative-quantitative approach, performed through bibliographical and documentary research, that is, the corpus results from consulting the Lattes curriculum of all 131 TAE servants of CCHSA / UFPB for identification and study of the production, from 2013 to 2016. From then on, the analysis of the data was of the descriptive type through simple statistical analysis, using the technique of content analysis, through which the production thematic is categorized. After mapping the technical-scientific production, it is verified that the assumptions raised are confirmed. The profile of the technical-administrative in education with higher production is made up by professionals with formation on higher education level, even when they hold lower level positions / functions. The most used communication channels are events annals, presentation of work and lecture, articles of journals, short time courses taught books and chapters of books, and development of instructional material. The production thematic focuses on such areas Agrarian Sciences, Applied Social Sciences and Human Sciences. At the end, the final considerations, the list of sources consulted and the appendices are presented.
