RESUMO

We modified the protocol of obtaining of biological scaffolds of rat lungs based on dynamic recording of specific resistivity of working detergent solution (conductometry) during perfusion decellularization. Termination of sodium deoxycholate exposure after attaining ionic equilibrium plateau did not impair the quality of decellularization and preserved structural matrix components, which was confirmed by morphological analysis and quantitative assay of residual DNA.

RESUMO

The analysis of the morbidity dynamics of HIV infection, hepatitis B and C in the Krasnodar territory for 1996-2003 is presented. The tendency of strengthening direct correlation between age-dependent rates in these groups of diseases has been established. The correlation coefficient (rxy) is at present +0.851 (HIV infection-virus hepatitis B) and +0.892 (HIV infection-virus hepatitis C). The highest levels of primary morbidity are registered in persons aged 20-39 years. The established epidemiological parallels between HIV infection and parenteral hepatitis require the development of the unified strategy of the prophylaxis of these diseases on the federal and regional levels.

RESUMO

A dynamic analysis of death reasons among the population of the Krasnodar territory during 1989-2000 is presented in the article. The standardized indices of mortality due the infectious and parasitic diseases as well as due mental disorders, digestion pathologies, injuries and poisoning were growing at a higher speed. The increase of death-rate due to the disease of the above categories is caused mainly by an increased prevalence of pathologies, which have a profoundly pronounced social predisposition, i.e. tuberculosis, alcoholic hepatic diseases, chronic alcoholism, alcoholic psychosis, suicides, and murders. This calls for radical changes within the system of social prevention of mortality among the population.

RESUMO

Demographic, social, and medical analysis of more than 30,000 suicide cases in a large region of Russia (Krasnodar region) over 1969-1994 showed the prevalence of men, subjects aged over 60, divorced and widowed subjects, individuals living alone, subjects without permanent occupation, mental patients, chronic alcoholics, and invalids in this group. The principal factors determining the processes of formation of the totality of suicides have been determined and the most prevalent social and hygienic characteristics of a suicide described. Groups with the highest level of suicides have been identified: narcomaniacs, mental patients, chronic alcoholics, disabled subjects. The authors emphasize not so much the medical, but the social aspect of the problem. They offer the priority research trends and organization measures aimed at investigation of the suicide phenomena and prevention thereof.

RESUMO

An analysis is provided of general mortality, injuries and suicide dynamics in the Krasnodar Territory during 1969-1989. The increase of these indices is noted which is stipulated by the aging of population and the increase of death "power". A consideration is given to the influence of state measures on hard drinking and alcoholism control, adopted in 1985, on general mortality, mortality from injuries and suicide rates in the next years. The influence of changes in the processes of mortality among persons who died from alcoholic intoxication on similar indices for the whole population is determined.
