RESUMO

Prevalence of T-cell system of the immunity is found in the pharyngeal, lingual and palatine tonsils and lymph nodes. B-lymphocytes are much less numerous. Adenocytes consolidation in the structure of "pharyngeal hypophysis" is considered as additional part of the anterior hypophysis. The structure of the mucous membrane in the region of pharyngeal hypophysis is described. This membrane is deprived of protective epithelium and mucous glands.

RESUMO

The state of spermatogenesis and permeability of the hemato-testicular barrier with respect to acridine orange was studied in mature male rats under conditions of the special longterm hypoxia (12-T min clinical death) and the following postreanimation period. Longterm hypoxia, as well as the complex of endogenous pathological factors of the postreanimation period leads to the degenerative changes of the maturing germ cells (nuclear vacuolization, rough chromatin condensation, cytoplasm enlightenment), their death up to the complete desolation of the certain coiled seminiferous tubules. The appearance of atypical forms of the germ cells (multinuclear elements, cells with giant nuclei) is noted, the disturbance of the synchronism of the germ cells maturation in certain coiled seminiferous tubules took place. Luminescent method revealed the change of the permeability of the hemato-testicular barrier in the certain region of coiled seminiferous tubules with respect to acridine orange.

RESUMO

The formation and dynamics of transformations of multinucleated cells in the spermatogenic layer was studied in mature male albino rats in a model experiment with 10-12 min. long clinical death followed by revivification at different periods of the postreanimation period. The maximum formation of multinucleated cells is observed on the 2nd-3rd days after revivification, and further their occurrence becomes less. With an increase of degenerative alterations in the nuclei and cytoplasm of multinucleated cells, the latter become isolated from the spermatogenic layer causing disturbances of its structure. A variant with the multiple formation of multinucleated cells is described resulting in an injury of the spermatogenic layer at a considerable distance. A supposition is put forward of the relationship of the formation of multinucleated cells with the clonal syncytial principle of organization of the developing sex cells and the cycle of spermatogenesis. The appearance of multinucleated cells is an undoubtable indicator of degenerative alterations of the spermatogenic layer under conditions of hypoxia.

RESUMO

This study was carried out having in view our inadequate knowledge of immunological parameters of human normal tonsils. The purpose of the study was to investigate the development of basic morphological and immunological parameters of organs constituting the functional complex, i. e. palatine, pharyngeal, lingual tonsils and neck lymph nodes that drain them, in human fetuses. Altogether 50 palatine, 31 pharyngeal, 16 lingual tonsils and neck lymph nodes of human fetuses (14 to 32 weeks) were examined. The development and morphology of tonsils as well as the time of lymphocyte settlement were investigated. The pattern of lymphocyte differentiation was studied immunologically. In terms of expression of surface markers, the heterogeneity of T- and B-cell immunity systems and their kinetics in the course of embryogenesis typical of each organ under study were identified. In the complex of organs combined by immune functions, neck lymph nodes can be identified as the pool of T-cells the amount of which makes the total number of the cells in all tonsils. As to B-cells, tonsils contained predominantly EAC-RFC. When compared to tonsils, lymph nodes contained the least quantities of B-lymphocytes.

RESUMO

By means of histological, histochemical, immunological and morphometric methods 78 pharyngeal tonsils of human embryos at the age of 12-40 weeks have been investigated. The character of the organ's anlage at 12-14 weeks of development as longitudinal folds on the dorsal wall of the rhinopharynx and changes in correlation of the lymphoid and epithelial tissues are presented in the process of the tonsil embryogenesis. Occupation of the organ with lymphocytes takes place on the 16th week of development. The embryos possess already two classes of T- and B-lymphocytes and their subclasses: auto-E-RFC, EAC-RFC, IgM and IgG positive cells; their kinetics is demonstrated in the process of the organ's development. A comparison on lymphocyte quantity, participating in cell-dependent immunity of the tonsil in fetuses, children and mature persons is presented.

RESUMO

Results of a comparative investigation of the clinical course of the wound process in 109 patients with acute lactation destructive mastitis are presented. The local application of papain and ultrasound were shown to shorten the phases of wound process and to stimulate reparative processes.
