Victims' associations, social networks and the publication of books have accelerated political and societal awareness of a subject that is still very taboo: incest. In this context, the Independent Commission on Incest and Sexual Violence against Children (Ciivise), created in 2021, has the mission to make recommendations on the evolution of public policies for a better protection and care of child victims, and to collect the voice of victims, now adults.
