BACKGROUND: Primulina hunanensis, a troglobitic plant within the Primulina genus of Gesneriaceae family, exhibits robust resilience to arid conditions and holds great horticultural potential as an ornamental plant. The work of chloroplast genome (cpDNA) has been recently accomplished, however, the mitochondrial genome (mtDNA) that is crucial for plant evolution has not been reported. RESULTS: In this study, we sequenced and assembled the P. hunanensis complete mtDNA, and elucidated its evolutionary and phylogenetic relationships. The assembled mtDNA spans 575,242 bp with 43.54% GC content, encompassing 60 genes, including 37 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 20 tRNA genes, and 3 rRNA genes. Notably, high number of repetitive sequences in the mtDNA and substantial sequence translocation from chloroplasts to mitochondria were observed. To determine the evolutionary and taxonomic positioning of P. hunanensis, a phylogenetic tree was constructed using mitochondrial PCGs from P. hunanensis and 32 other taxa. Furthermore, an exploration of PCGs relative synonymous codon usage, identification of RNA editing events, and an investigation of collinearity with closely related species were conducted. CONCLUSIONS: This study reports the initial assembly and annotation of P. hunanensis mtDNA, contributing to the limited mtDNA repository for Gesneriaceae plants and advancing our understanding of their evolution for improved utilization and conservation.

Plant pathogenic fungi elaborate numerous detoxification strategies to suppress host reactive oxygen species (ROS), but their coordination is not well-understood. Here, we show that Sirt5-mediated protein desuccinylation in Magnaporthe oryzae is central to host ROS detoxification. SIRT5 encodes a desuccinylase important for virulence via adaptation to host oxidative stress. Quantitative proteomics analysis identified a large number of succinylated proteins targeted by Sirt5, most of which were mitochondrial proteins involved in oxidative phosphorylation, TCA cycle, and fatty acid oxidation. Deletion of SIRT5 resulted in hypersuccinylation of detoxification-related enzymes, and significant reduction in NADPH : NADP+ and GSH : GSSG ratios, disrupting redox balance and impeding invasive growth. Sirt5 desuccinylated thioredoxin Trx2 and glutathione peroxidase Hyr1 to activate their enzyme activity, likely by affecting proper folding. Altogether, this work demonstrates the importance of Sirt5-mediated desuccinylation in controlling fungal process required for detoxifying host ROS during M. oryzae infection.

Exposure to a hypobaric hypoxic environment at high altitudes can lead to liver injury, and mounting evidence indicates that pyroptosis and inflammation play important roles in liver injury. Curcumin (Cur) can inhibit pyroptosis and inflammation. Therefore, our purpose here was to clarify the mechanism underlying the protective effect of nanocurcumin (Ncur) and Cur in a rat model of high altitude-associated acute liver injury. Eighty healthy rats were selected and exposed to different altitudes (6000 or 7000 m) for 0, 24, 48, or 72 h. Fifty normal healthy rats were divided into normal control, high-altitude control, salidroside (40 mg/kg [Sal-40]), Cur (200 mg/kg [Cur-200]), and Ncur (25 mg/kg [Ncur-25]) groups and exposed to a high-altitude hypobaric hypoxic environment (48 h, 7000 m). Serum-liver enzyme activities (alanine transaminase, aspartate transaminase, and lactate dehydrogenase were detected and histopathology of liver injury was evaluated by hematoxylin and eosin staining, and inflammatory factors were detected in liver tissues by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. Pyroptosis-associated proteins (gasdermin D, gasdermin D N-terminal [GSDMD-N], pro-Caspase-1, and cleaved-Caspase-1 [cleaved-Casp1]) and inflammation-associated proteins (nuclear factor-κB [NF-κB], phospho-NF-κB [P-NF-κB], and high-mobility group protein B1 [HMGB1]) levels were analyzed by immunoblotting. Ncur and Cur inhibited increased serum-liver enzyme activities, alleviated liver injury in rats caused by high-altitude hypobaric hypoxic exposure, and downregulated inflammatory factors, including tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin (IL)-1ß, IL-6, and IL-18, in rat liver tissues. The level of P-NF-κB, GSDMD-N, cleaved-Casp1, and HMGB1 in rat liver tissues increased significantly after high-altitude exposure. Ncur and Cur downregulated P-NF-κB, GSDMD-N, cleaved-Casp-1, and HMGB1. Ncur and Cur may inhibit inflammatory responses and pyroptosis in a rat model of high altitude-associated acute liver injury.

In this study, a passive radar system that detects flying targets is developed in order to solve the problems associated with traditional flying target detection systems (i.e., their large size, high power consumption, complex systems, and poor battlefield survivability). On the basis of target detection, the system uses the multipath signal (which is usually eliminated as an error term in navigation and positioning), enhances it by supporting information, and utilizes the multi-source characteristics of ordinary omnidirectional global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals. The results of a validation experiment showed that the system is able to locate a passenger airplane and obtain its flight trajectory using only one GNSS receiving antenna. The system is characterized by its light weight (less than 5 kg), low power consumption, simple system, good portability, low cost, and 24/7 and all-weather work. It can be installed in large quantities and has good prospects for development.

BACKGROUND: Patients with N2-3 nasopharyngeal carcinoma have a high risk of treatment being unsuccessful despite the current practice of using a concurrent adjuvant cisplatin-fluorouracil regimen. We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of concurrent adjuvant cisplatin-gemcitabine with cisplatin-fluorouracil in N2-3 nasopharyngeal carcinoma. METHODS: We conducted an open-label, randomised, controlled, phase 3 trial at four cancer centres in China. Eligible patients were aged 18-65 years with untreated, non-keratinising, stage T1-4 N2-3 M0 nasopharyngeal carcinoma, an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status score of 0-1, and adequate bone marrow, liver, and renal function. Eligible patients were randomly assigned (1:1) to receive concurrent cisplatin (100 mg/m2 intravenously) on days 1, 22, and 43 of intensity-modulated radiotherapy followed by either gemcitabine (1 g/m2 intravenously on days 1 and 8) and cisplatin (80 mg/m2 intravenously for 4 h on day 1) once every 3 weeks or fluorouracil (4 g/m2 in continuous intravenous infusion for 96 h) and cisplatin (80 mg/m2 intravenously for 4 h on day 1) once every 4 weeks, for three cycles. Randomisation was done using a computer-generated random number code with a block size of six, stratified by treatment centre and nodal category. The primary endpoint was 3-year progression-free survival in the intention-to-treat population (ie, all patients randomly assigned to treatment). Safety was assessed in all participants who received at least one dose of chemoradiotherapy. This study was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT03321539, and patients are currently under follow-up. FINDINGS: From Oct 30, 2017, to July 9, 2020, 240 patients (median age 44 years [IQR 36-52]; 175 [73%] male and 65 [27%] female) were randomly assigned to the cisplatin-fluorouracil group (n=120) or cisplatin-gemcitabine group (n=120). As of data cutoff (Dec 25, 2022), median follow-up was 40 months (IQR 32-48). 3-year progression-free survival was 83·9% (95% CI 75·9-89·4; 19 disease progressions and 11 deaths) in the cisplatin-gemcitabine group and 71·5% (62·5-78·7; 34 disease progressions and seven deaths) in the cisplatin-fluorouracil group (stratified hazard ratio 0·54 [95% CI 0·32-0·93]; log rank p=0·023). The most common grade 3 or worse adverse events that occurred during treatment were leukopenia (61 [52%] of 117 in the cisplatin-gemcitabine group vs 34 [29%] of 116 in the cisplatin-fluorouracil group; p=0·00039), neutropenia (37 [32%] vs 19 [16%]; p=0·010), and mucositis (27 [23%] vs 32 [28%]; p=0·43). The most common grade 3 or worse late adverse event (occurring from 3 months after completion of radiotherapy) was auditory or hearing loss (six [5%] vs ten [9%]). One (1%) patient in the cisplatin-gemcitabine group died due to treatment-related complications (septic shock caused by neutropenic infection). No patients in the cisplatin-fluorouracil group had treatment-related deaths. INTERPRETATION: Our findings suggest that concurrent adjuvant cisplatin-gemcitabine could be used as an adjuvant therapy in the treatment of patients with N2-3 nasopharyngeal carcinoma, although long-term follow-up is required to confirm the optimal therapeutic ratio. We discuss recent lattice data for the T_{cc}(3875)^{+} state to stress, for the first time, a potentially strong impact of left-hand cuts from the one-pion exchange on the pole extraction for near-threshold exotic states. In particular, if the left-hand cut is located close to the two-particle threshold, which happens naturally in the DD^{*} system for the pion mass exceeding its physical value, the effective-range expansion is valid only in a very limited energy range up to the cut and as such is of little use to reliably extract the poles. Then, an accurate extraction of the pole locations requires the one-pion exchange to be implemented explicitly into the scattering amplitudes. Our findings are general and potentially relevant for a wide class of hadronic near-threshold states.

Hypertrophic scar (HS) formation is a cutaneous fibroproliferative disease that occurs after skin injuries and results in severe functional and esthetic disability. To date, few drugs have shown satisfactory outcomes for the treatment of HS formation. Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-ß)/Notch interaction via small mothers against decapentaplegic 3 (Smad3) could facilitate HS formation; therefore, targeting TGF-ß/ Notch interaction via Smad3 is a potential therapeutic strategy to attenuate HS formation. In addition, optic atrophy 1 (OPA1)-mediated mitochondrial fusion contributes to fibroblast proliferation, and TGF-ß/Smad3 axis and the Notch1 pathway facilitate OPA1-mediated mitochondrial fusion. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate whether drugs targeting TGF-ß/Notch interaction via Smad3 suppressed fibroblast proliferation to attenuate HS formation through OPA1-mediated mitochondrial fusion. We found that the TGF-ß pathway, Notch pathway, and TGF-ß/Notch interaction via Smad3 were inhibited by pirfenidone, the gamma- secretase inhibitor DAPT, and SIS3 in human keloid fibroblasts (HKF) and an HS rat model, respectively. Protein interaction was detected by co-immunoprecipitation, and mitochondrial morphology was determined by electron microscopy. Our results indicated that pirfenidone, DAPT, and SIS3 suppressed the proliferation of HKFs and attenuated HS formation in the HS rat model by inhibiting TGF-ß/Notch interaction via Smad3. Moreover, pirfenidone, DAPT, and SIS3 hindered OPA1-mediated mitochondrial fusion through inhibiting TGF-ß/Notch interaction, thereby suppressing the proliferation of HS fibroblasts and HS formation. In summary, these findings investigating the effects of drugs targeting TGF-ß/Notch interaction on HS formation might lead to novel drugs for the treatment of HS formation.

ß-Bi2O3 demonstrates excellent photocatalytic activity under visible light, but it has a very high photogenerated e--h+ recombination rate and quite low quantum efficiency. AgBr also shows excellent catalytic activity but Ag+ is easily reduced to Ag under light radiation, which limits its application in the photocatalysis field, and there are few reports about the application of AgBr in photocatalysis. In this study, the spherical flower-like porous ß-Bi2O3 matrix was first obtained, and then the spherical-like AgBr was embedded between the petals of the flower-like structure to avoid direct light radiation. The only light through the pores on the ß-Bi2O3 petals could be transmitted onto the surfaces of AgBr particles to form a nanometer point light source, which photo-reduced Ag+ on the surface of the AgBr nanospheres to construct the Ag-modified AgBr/ß-Bi2O3 embedded composite and a typical Z-scheme heterojunction was constructed. Under this bifunctional photocatalyst and visible light, the RhB degradation rate reached 99.85% in 30 min, and the photolysis water hydrogen production rate reached 6.288 mmol g-1 h-1. This work is as an effective method for not only the preparation of the embedded structure, quantum dot modification and flower-like morphology but also for the construction of Z-scheme heterostructures.

INTRODUCTION: Patients with colorectal cancer frequently present with liver metastases requiring either concurrent colon and liver resection or staged resection for curative therapy. The goal of this study is to determine if synchronous resection increases risk of perioperative adverse outcomes such as surgical site infections (SSIs). METHODS AND PROCEDURES: We conducted a cross-sectional retrospective analysis of the targeted hepatectomy NSQIP database from 2015 to 2019. The primary outcome was surgical site infections stratified into superficial, deep, organ space, and wound dehiscence. We performed univariate followed by a multivariate logistic regression to determine if there were higher odds of SSIs in patients undergoing hepatic resection concurrently with primary colorectal resection. Additionally, we performed stratified analyses by size of hepatic resections (partial, total left, total right, and trisegmentectomy). RESULTS: Of the 7,445 patients included in the study, 431(5.8%) underwent synchronous resection and 7,014 metachronous resection. On average, synchronous resections prolonged surgery by 62 min. There was no difference in superficial and deep SSIs between the groups; however, there was a significant difference in organ space SSIs. Patients undergoing synchronous resection had 1.51 times the odds of developing an organ space SSI (OR 1.51, 95%CI 1.10, 2.17, p = 0.04) compared to patients with metachronous resection on multivariate analysis. Patients undergoing a total right hepatectomy concurrently with a colorectal resection had 2.30 times the odds of developing an organ space SSI (OR 2.30, 95%CI 1.20, 6.86, p = 0.010). CONCLUSIONS: Prior studies demonstrated that synchronous resections are safe in properly selected patients with no difference in long-term outcomes. Few studies have explored immediate perioperative outcomes between the two approaches. After controlling for confounders, we demonstrate that synchronous resection with major hepatic surgery increases the risk of organ space SSIs. Future studies should elucidate the precise source of organ space SSIs in order to decrease the risk of this adverse outcome.

INTRODUCTION: Survival for gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) has been increasing over the years after the introduction of tyrosine kinase inhibitors. However, the role of metastasectomy for GIST is still controversial. Patients are currently treated with imatinib or sunitinib in case of imatinib failures as optimal medical therapy for metastatic GIST. METHODS: The Pubmed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library were systematically searched. Overall survival following liver resection ± tyrosine kinase inhibitor treatment for metastatic GIST was compared to treatment with tyrosine kinase inhibitors alone. RESULTS: Eleven studies including both randomized control trials and retrospective cohort studies were included in the final analysis with a total of 988 patients. Seven studies encompassed data on 556 patients with isolated liver metastases (219 surgery ± drug groups and 337 drug-only groups) were included. Overall survival was significantly improved in patients undergoing liver resection ± drug therapy in comparison to drug therapy alone. [HR (95%CI) = 2.10 (1.58, 2.79); p<0.00001]. Subgroup analysis showed that patients also had improved progression free survival based on 4 studies. [HR (95%CI) = 1.92 (1.43, 2.56); p<0.00001]. In case of concurrent liver and peritoneal metastases, patients showed improved overall survival with aggressive surgical approaches based on 10 studies. [HR (95%CI) = 1.90 (1.56, 2.31); p<0.00001]. CONCLUSION: This meta-analysis found that liver resection for patients with metastatic GIST regardless of peritoneal metastases improved progression free and overall survival in conjunction with tyrosine kinase inhibitors as compared with medical therapy alone. Furthermore, liver resections did not have any immediate detrimental impact on survival in the group of patients selected.

Rigid interspinous process fixation (RIPF) has been recently discussed as an alternative to pedicle screw fixation (PSF) for reducing trauma in lumbar interbody fusion (LIF) surgery. This study aimed to investigate biomechanics of the lumbar spine with RIPF, and also to compare biomechanical differences between two postoperative stages (before and after bony fusion). Based on an intact finite-element model of lumbosacral spine, the models of single-level LIF with RIPF or conventional PSF were developed and were computed for biomechanical responses to the moments of four physiological motions using hybrid testing protocol. It was found that compared with PSF, range of motion (ROM), intradiscal pressure (IDP), and facet joint forces (FJF) at adjacent segments of the surgical level for RIPF were decreased by up to 8.4%, 2.3%, and 16.8%, respectively, but ROM and endplate stress at the surgical segment were increased by up to 285.3% and 174.3%, respectively. The results of comparison between lumbar spine with RIPF before and after bony fusion showed that ROM and endplate stress at the surgical segment were decreased by up to 62.6% and 40.4%, respectively, when achieved to bony fusion. These findings suggest that lumbar spine with RIPF as compared to PSF has potential to decrease the risk of adjacent segment degeneration but might have lower stability of surgical segment and an increased risk of cage subsidence; When achieved bony fusion, it might be helpful for the lumbar spine with RIPF in increasing stability of surgical segment and reducing failure of bone contact with cage.

OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this study was to investigate the value of shear wave elastography (SWE) in determining tumor extent of basal cell carcinomas (BCC), and thereby determine the optimal surgical margins (OSM). METHODS: 10 patients (40 surgical margins) with BCC were collected, the visual observation boundaries (VOB) were marked, and the SWE parameters of soft tissues were measured 1 mm intervals in "3, 6, 9, 12" clock directions, starting from VOB. Then tumors were resected with a 5 mm surgical margin outward expansion of VOB. All specimens were examined pathologically 1 mm intervals from VOB in four clock directions. With the positive margins furthest from the tumor as the real tumor boundaries (RTB) and the negative margins closest to the tumor as the optimal surgical margins (OSM). The SWE parameters were compared between these two groups. RESULTS: The elasticity ratio (Eratio ) of average young's modulus between region of interest and adjacent normal soft tissue had statistically significant differences between groups (P = .000), while other parameters show no difference. The Eratio of RTB and OSM were 1.22 ± 0.14 and 0.99 ± 0.07. The area under the ROC curve was .947. Taking 1.075 as the threshold of Eratio for the diagnosis of tumor extent, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 87.5%, 90.0% and 90.0%. The surgical margins designed according to OSM were better than those designed according to VOB + 5 mm (P = .000). CONCLUSIONS: The Eratio of SWE is helpful in determining tumor extent of BCC. This is beneficial for surgical margin designing.

Cow milk is an important source of food protein for children; however, it could lead to allergy, especially for infants. α-Lactalbumin (α-LA) and ß-lactoglobulin (ß-LG) from whey protein make up a relatively high proportion of milk proteins and have received widespread attention as major allergens in milk. However, few studies have identified the epitopes of both proteins simultaneously. In this study, ImmunoCAP and indirect ELISA were first used for detection of sIgE to screen sera from allergic patients with high binding capacity for α-LA and ß-LG. Subsequently, the mimotopes was biopanned by phage display technology and bioinformatics and 17 mimic peptide sequences were obtained. Aligned with the sequences of α-LA or ß-LG, we identified one linear epitope on α-LA at AA 11-26 and 5 linear epitopes on ß-LG at AA 9-29, AA 45-57, AA 77-80, AA 98-101, and AA 121-135, respectively. Meanwhile, the 8 conformational epitopes and their distributions of α-LA and ß-LG were located using the Pepitope Server. Finally, glutamine and lysine were determined as common AA residues for the conformational epitopes both on α-LA and ß-LG. Moreover, we found the addition of mouse anti-human IgE during the biopanning process did not significantly affect the identification of the epitopes.

Apple rust caused by Gymnosporangium yamadae is a significant disease in China's main apple production areas. We evaluated the effects of temperature, moisture, and ultraviolet (UV) light on the germination, infection, and survival of teliospore horns and basidiospores under artificially controlled environmental conditions. The temperature required for the germination and infection of teliospores and basidiospores of G. yamadae ranged from 5 to 25°C, with an optimum temperature of approximately 17°C. The teliospore horns germinated after soaking in distilled water for 5 min and required at least 2.3 h of development to produce basidiospores under the most favorable conditions. The basidiospores germinated only in free water and produced germ tubes 0.8 h after being placed in the water. The half-life of the basidiospore was 72.5 h in the dark and only 9.5 h when exposed to intense UV light. The basidiospores inoculated on the host leaves required at least 2.3 h of water exposure to cause rust lesions. A revised Weibull model could describe the relationships between the germination and infection of teliospore horns and basidiospores with temperature and wetness duration. Collectively, these results can serve as a valuable guide for developing a model to predict future apple rust epidemics and establish a method for effective control strategies.

Glomerella leaf spot (GLS) caused by Glomerella cingulata is a newly emerging disease that results in severe defoliation and fruit spots in apples. In China, the compound of pyraclostrobin and tebuconazole was registered to control GLS in 2018 and has achieved excellent control efficiency. In this study, we showed that the high-level resistant isolates of G. cingulata to pyraclostrobin, caused by the point mutation at codon 143 (GGT→GCT, G143A) in the cytochrome b gene, has appeared in apple orchards in Shandong Province in 2020, and the resistance frequency was 4.8%. Based on the genotype of the resistant isolates, we developed a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay for detection of the pyraclostrobin resistance. The LAMP assay was demonstrated to have good specificity, sensitivity, and repeatability, and it exhibited high accuracy in detecting pyraclostrobin resistance in the field. This study reported the resistance status of GLS to pyraclostrobin in Shandong Province and developed a molecular tool for the detection of pyraclostrobin resistance, which is of practical significance for the scientific control of GLS.

In recent times, the realm of remote sensing has witnessed a remarkable surge in the area of deep learning, specifically in the domain of target recognition within synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images. However, prevailing deep learning models have often placed undue emphasis on network depth and width while disregarding the imperative requirement for a harmonious equilibrium between accuracy and speed. To address this concern, this paper presents FCCD-SAR, a SAR target recognition algorithm based on the lightweight FasterNet network. Initially, a lightweight and SAR-specific feature extraction backbone is meticulously crafted to better align with SAR image data. Subsequently, an agile upsampling operator named CARAFE is introduced, augmenting the extraction of scattering information and fortifying target recognition precision. Moreover, the inclusion of a rapid, lightweight module, denoted as C3-Faster, serves to heighten both recognition accuracy and computational efficiency. Finally, in cognizance of the diverse scales and vast variations exhibited by SAR targets, a detection head employing DyHead's attention mechanism is implemented to adeptly capture feature information across multiple scales, elevating recognition performance on SAR targets. Exhaustive experimentation on the MSTAR dataset unequivocally demonstrates the exceptional prowess of our FCCD-SAR algorithm, boasting a mere 2.72 M parameters and 6.11 G FLOPs, culminating in an awe-inspiring 99.5% mean Average Precision (mAP) and epitomizing its unparalleled proficiency.

This paper addresses the problem of path following and dynamic obstacle avoidance for an underwater biomimetic vehicle-manipulator system (UBVMS). Firstly, the general kinematic and dynamic models of underwater vehicles are presented; then, a nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) scheme is employed to track a reference path and collision avoidance simultaneously. Moreover, to minimize the tracking error and for a higher degree of robustness, improved extended state observers are used to estimate model uncertainties and disturbances to be fed into the NMPC prediction model. On top of this, the proposed method also considers the uncertainty of the state estimator, while combining a priori estimation of the Kalman filter to reasonably predict the position of dynamic obstacles during short periods. Finally, simulations and experimental results are carried out to assess the validity of the proposed method in case of disturbances and constraints.

Underwater images tend to suffer from critical quality degradation, such as poor visibility, contrast reduction, and color deviation by virtue of the light absorption and scattering in water media. It is a challenging problem for these images to enhance visibility, improve contrast, and eliminate color cast. This paper proposes an effective and high-speed enhancement and restoration method based on the dark channel prior (DCP) for underwater images and video. Firstly, an improved background light (BL) estimation method is proposed to estimate BL accurately. Secondly, the R channel's transmission map (TM) based on the DCP is estimated sketchily, and a TM optimizer integrating the scene depth map and the adaptive saturation map (ASM) is designed to refine the afore-mentioned coarse TM. Later, the TMs of G-B channels are computed by their ratio to the attenuation coefficient of the red channel. Finally, an improved color correction algorithm is adopted to improve visibility and brightness. Several typical image-quality assessment indexes are employed to testify that the proposed method can restore underwater low-quality images more effectively than other advanced methods. An underwater video real-time measurement is also conducted on the flipper-propelled underwater vehicle-manipulator system to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method in the real scene.

The wind tunnel balance signal detection system is widely employed in aerospace applications for the accurate and automated measurement of aerodynamic forces and moments. However, measurement errors arise under different environmental temperature. This paper addresses the issue of measurement accuracy under different temperature conditions by proposing a temperature compensation method based on an improved gray wolf optimization (IGWO) algorithm and optimized extreme learning machine (ELM). The IGWO algorithm is enhanced by improving the initial population position, convergence factor, and iteration weights of the gray wolf optimization algorithm. Subsequently, the IGWO algorithm is employed to determine the optimal network parameters for the ELM. The calibration decoupling experiment and high-low temperature experiment are designed and carried out. On this basis, ELM, GWO-ELM, PSO-ELM, GWO-RBFNN and IGWO-ELM are used for temperature compensation experiments. The experimental results show that IGWO-ELM has a good temperature compensation effect, reducing the measurement error from 20%FS to within 0.04%FS. Consequently, the accuracy and stability of the wind tunnel balance signal detection system under different temperature environments are enhanced.

This research aims to analyze the impact of the Earth-Space link on the Automatic Identification System (AIS) signals of ships. To achieve this, we established a simulation system that measures the receiving power of AIS signals via satellite platforms. We validated the system by utilizing observation data from Tiantuo-5. Through this simulation, we quantitatively analyzed the effects of ionospheric TEC (Total Electron Content) and space loss on the received power. During the processing of observation data, we construct a geometric propagation model utilizing the measured positions of both the satellite and the ship. We then calculate the antenna gain and remove any system errors. Additionally, we eliminate the deviation of elevation and azimuth angles caused by satellite motion. This allows us to determine the actual power of different ships reaching the receiving platform. Upon comparing the measured power data with the simulated power, it was noted that both exhibited an increasing trend as the elevation angle increased. This led to an RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) result of approximately one, indicating the accuracy of the simulation system. These findings hold significant implications for analyzing interference factors in satellite-ground links.
