ABSTRACT
A total of 1621 patients underwent conservative and/or surgical treatment for shoulder-cuff lesions over a period of 9 years. Clinical symptoms, roentgenologic findings, and indications for conservative and surgical treatment are described. Therapeutic results in supraspinatus tendinitis, calcareous tendinitis, and surgically treated rotator cuff tears are specifically evaluated in 24, 22 and 100 patients, respectively
