ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore correlation among levels of interleukin(IL)-2,IL-10 and Th1/Th2 ratio,mean arterial pressure(MAP)in patients with gestational hypertension(GH).Methods:A total of 50 normal pregnant women(normal control group)and 47 GH patients(GH group)hospitalized in our hospital were selected.Levels of IL-2 and IL-10 were measured by radioimmunoassay,Th1 and Th2 were measured by flow cytometer,then Th1/Th2 was calculated,and above indexes were compared and analyzed between two groups.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation among IL-2,IL-10 levels and Th1/Th2,MAP.Results:Compared with normal control group,there were significant rise in IL-2 level[(0.79 ± 0.14)pg/ml vs.(1.64 ± 0.32)pg/ml],Th1[(8.95 ± 0.78)% vs.(16.02 ± 1.43)%],Th1/Th2 ratio[(8.46 ± 0.49)vs.(17.95 ± 1.24)]and MAP[(80.91 ± 10.23)mmHg vs.(134.7 ± 26.4)mmHg],and significant reductions in levels of IL-10[(129.46 ± 28.61)pg/ml vs.(64.25 ± 9.86)pg/ml]and Th2[(1.09 ± 0.12)% vs.(0.87 ± 0.05)%]in GH group,P=0.001 all.IL-2 level was significant positively correlated with Th 1,Th1/Th2 and MAP(r=0.493~0.618,P<0.05 or <0.01),and significant inversely correlated with Th 2(r= -0.359,P=0.024);IL-10 level was significant inversely correlated with Th 1,Th1/Th2 and MAP(r= -0.694~ -0.518,P<0.05 or <0.01),and significant positively correlated with Th 2(r=0.458,P=0.014).Conclusion:Immune factors IL-2 and IL-10 secretion ab-normalities in GH patients can lead to Th1/Th2 imbalance,and they are closely correlated to hypertension,which affect progress and outcome of hypertension.
