ABSTRACT
Total haemolymph protein concentration of both sexes of the millipede Orthomorpha gracilis fed on a mixture of two species of leaf one of them was preferred and the other disliked was less than haemolymph protein concentration of animals fed on either species of leaf separately. Explanation in terms of the low consumption of food and the much energy wasted in exploratory behaviour was put forward
