ABSTRACT
O artigo apresenta as concepções sobre corpo que se forjaram no transcurso da história da humanidade, para responder às questões: que corpo a enfermagem moderna encontrou? Que discurso estabeleceu sobre ele e como vem se ocupando dele no cuidado? A construção da profissão ocorre, paralelamente, ao silenciamento sobre os corpos das enfermeiras e dos clientes, como forma de neutralizar o erotismo da relação. O cuidar se constituiu na heteronomia do cuidar, e o corpo a ser cuidado foi, habilmente, enquadrado como um "segundo corpo". Refletir e analisar a relação estabelecida na enfermagem sobre os corpos cuidados pode beneficiar uma prática criativa e sensível, compartilhada com o sujeito do cuidado e o reencantamento de volta ao "primeiro corpo".
This article presents various conceptions about the body, forged along with the evolution of history of mankind, to answer the questions such as which body was found by the modern nursing? which discourse was established about it and how was it used in care taking? The construction of nursing profession takes place, parallelly, silently in relation to the bodies of the nurses and their patients as a form of neutralizing the eroticism of the relationship. The caring is constructed on the heteronomy of care taking and the body to be cared for had been, skillfully fitted in a 'second body'. The analysis of relationship established in nursing profession about the body care can benefit the creative and sensible practice of sharing with the person to be cared for and the enchantment of the 'first body'.
