ABSTRACT
Background Chloropropanol esters (MCPDE) have attracted much attention in recent years as a kind of new contaminant found in various refined oils. The pollution of 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol esters (3-MCPDE) is the most prominent. 3-MCPDE is hydrolyzed in organisms to 3-monochloropropane-1,2-diol which has been shown to have reproductive toxicity, nephrotoxicity, and potential carcinogenicity. Infant formula powders can be polluted by 3-MCPDE when refined edible oils are added during production. Objective To assess the risk of exposure to 3-MCPDE related to the consumption of infant formula powders for children aged 0-3 years in Shanghai market using the food consumption data and the data of 3-MCPDE contamination in these foods. Methods Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to determine 3-MCPDE in 133 samples of infant formula powders in Shanghai. Using a multistage stratified random sampling method, a total of 807 infants and toddlers aged 0-3 years were randomly selected from each district/rural/town in Shanghai, including 208 children aged 0-6 months, 276 children aged 6-12 months, and 323 children aged 12-36 months. The food consumption data was investigated using food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) distributed by combining telephone inquiries and face-to-face interviews among guardians. Population's probability distributions of 3-MCPDE exposure were assessed by @Risk 7.5 software and Monte Carlo simulation algorithm. According to the dietary intake assessment model and the tolerable daily intake (TDI) of 3-MCPDE of 2.00 μg·(kg·d)−1 proposed by the European Food Safety Authority (ESFA), a risk assessment of exposure to 3-MCPDE was conducted for infants and toddlers aged 0 to 3 years old in Shanghai who consumed 3-MCPDE via infant formula powders. Results The average concentration of 3-MCPDE in 133 samples of infant formula powders was 0.115 mg·kg−1 with a positive rate of 100.00%. Among different types of formula powders, infant formula powders for infants of 0-6 months had the highest concentrations of 3-MCPDE and fat [0.136 mg·kg−1 and 25.2 g (per 100 g sample) in average respectively]. There was a positive correlation between fat concentration and 3-MCPDE concentration in the samples (r=0.438, P<0.05). The average consumption of infant formula powders of 807 infants aged 0-3 years was 88.3 g·d−1. Among all investigated age groups, the average consumption of infant formula powders by infants aged 0-6, 6-12, and 12-36 months was 87.7, 98.3, and 80.1 g·d−1 respectively. The dietary exposure to 3-MCPDE from infant formula powders of infants aged 0-3 years averaged 0.83 μg·(kg·d)−1 for general intake level or valued 1.44 μg·(kg·d)−1 using the 95 percentile for high intake level. Exposure decreased with increasing age and was highest in infants 0-6 months of age, whose general and high intake levels were 1.41 and 2.34 μg·(kg·d)−1, respectively. The risk population defined with the exposure higher than the TDI proposed by EFSA were proportioned to be 13.90% and 0.50% in infants aged 0-6 months and 6-12 months respectively, indicating a risk that cannot be ignored, and no risk in infants aged 12-36 months. Conclusion Among the investigated infants aged 0-3 years in Shanghai, those aged 0-6 months are at a high risk of exposure to 3-MCPDE. In view of the sensitivity of infants to pollutant exposure, the risk of exposure to 3-MCPDE should be highly concerned.
ABSTRACT
Cholestatic liver disease is a common hepatobiliary disease caused by bile deposition in the liver due to the disorders of bile production, excretion, and metabolism. At present, the pathogenic factors for cholestatic liver disease have not been fully elucidated, but some researchers believe that environmental factors may play an important role in it. As environmental pollutants, phthalic acid esters (PAE) have been confirmed to interfere with human endocrine system, exert a potential toxic effect on the human body, endanger liver and kidney function, and increase the risk of intrahepatic cholestasis. On this basis, this article reviews the association between PAE and cholestatic liver disease and summarizes related clinical studies, animal experimental studies, in vitro experimental studies, and potential mechanisms, so as to provide ideas and references for the prevention and clinical treatment of cholestatic liver disease.

ABSTRACT
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Zhibitai capsules combined with low-dose atorvastatin in the treatment of cervical arteriosclerosis and its effects on high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and regulatory T cells in the peripheral blood. Methods:A total of 104 patients with carotid arteriosclerosis admitted to Fenyang Hospital from January 2021 to April 2022 were retrospectively included in this study. They were divided into a control group ( n = 52) and an observation group ( n = 52) according to different treatment methods. The control group was orally given atorvastatin calcium tablets 20 mg once a day. The observation group was orally given atorvastatin calcium tablets 10 mg once a day, and Zhibitai capsules 0.24 g, one capsule in the morning and one capsule in the evening. After 8 weeks of treatment, changes in total cholesterol, triacylglycerol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, and regulatory T cell proportion in the peripheral blood were evaluated. Results:After treatment, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol level and regulatory T cell proportion in the observation group were (1.53 ± 0.29) mmol/L and (5.52 ± 1.38)%, respectively, which were significantly higher than (1.19 ± 0.21) mmol/L and (4.48 ± 0.86)% respectively in the control group ( t = 6.84, 4.61, both P < 0.05). Total cholesterol, triacylglycerol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels in the observation group were (2.88 ± 0.27) mmol/L, (1.21 ± 0.15) mmol/L, (2.01 ± 0.19) mmol/L, (2.58 ± 0.43) mg/L, respectively, which were significantly lower than (3.68 ± 0.41) mmol/L, (1.33 ± 0.19) mmol/L, (2.69 ± 0.31) mmol/L, (3.70 ± 0.25) mg/L, respectively in the control group ( t = 11.75, 3.57, 12.31, 17.23, all P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in carotid plaque size pre-treatment between the two groups, but the plaque size decreased after treatment compared with before treatment. The efficacy of Zhibitai capsules combined with low-dose atorvastatin in the treatment of cervical arteriosclerosis in the observation group was superior to that in the control group ( P < 0.05). Conclusion:Oral administration of Zhibitai capsules combined with low-dose atorvastatin for the treatment of cervical arteriosclerosis is safe and has few adverse reactions. The combined therapy can decrease serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels, increase the proportion of regulatory T cells in the peripheral blood, help stabilize plaques, and reduce plaque size.
ABSTRACT
Local anesthetics are essential in many medical and dental procedures. They work by stabilizing neuronal membranes and inhibiting the transmission of neural impulses, which allows these procedures to be performed more safely and without pain. Adverse drug reactions are defined by the World Health Organization as all harmful, unintended and undesirable effects of a medication, which occur at doses used for prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Hypersensitivity reactions are unpredictable type B adverse reactions that clinically resemble allergic reactions and may or may not involve an immune mechanism. True hypersensitivity reactions to local anesthetics are rare, although overestimated. In this review, we highlight the need for a thorough evaluation of patients with suspected allergic reaction to local anesthetics, including investigation of other possible allergens that may have been used in the procedure, such as analgesics, antibiotics and latex. The investigation strategy and patient selection for testing should be based on clinical history. In this way, we will be able to provide more assertive and safe guidelines to patients.

Objective@# To develop a magnetic solid-phase extraction combined with gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) based on pyrrole-modified magnetic nanoparticles to determine 16 types of phthalic acid esters (PAEs) in commercial liquors.@*Methods @#Fe3O4 magnetic nuclei were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis, and the polypyrrole-modified magnetic nanomaterials were prepared with the chemical oxidation method. Magnetic solid-phase extraction of beer, grape wine, rice wine and Chinese spirits was performed at 10% alcohol by volume, extraction duration of 20 min and ethyl acetate elution of 10 min, followed by addition of 1 g NaCl for reduction of emulsification effect. The 16 types of PAEs were determined using GC-MS/MS with DB-5MS capillary column (30 m×250 μm, 0.25 μm) under the mode of electron impact ionization (EI) and dynamic multiple reaction monitoring (dMRM), with quantitative analysis using the external standard method. The standard curve, detection limit, spike recovery rate and precision of GC-MS/MS for determination of 16 types of PAEs were evaluated.@*Results@#Pyrrole was successfully embedded onto the surface of magnetic nanoparticles in the form of polymer, and the magnetic nanoparticles modified by polypyrrole were well characterized, showing unapparent matrix and emulsification effects. There was a good linear relationship for the 16 types of PAEs at 50 to 5 000 ng/mL (r=0.999 5-0.999 9), and the spike recovery rate of 16 types of PAEs ranged from 71.61% to 110.50% at 100, 500 and 1 000 μg/kg, with relative standard deviations of 3.78% to 7.41%, detection limits of 0.02 to 1.47 μg/kg. PAEs were detected in 20 out of 50 liquor samples, with 30.00%, 60.00%, 40.00% and 70.00% detection rates in beer, grape wine, rice wine and Chinese spirits, respectively. @*Conclusions@#This method is sensitive to determine 16 types of PAEs in liquor samples, with unapparent matrix and emulsification effects, and the polypyrrole-modified magnetic composite nanoparticles present high adsorption of PAEs in liquor samples, which is feasible for monitoring of PAEs in multiple types of liquor samples.
ABSTRACT
Background Tricresyl phosphate (TCP) is mainly used as a flame retardant. Studies have confirmed that it has cytotoxicity and neurotoxicity, but its reproductive toxicity is not clear. Objective To investigate the reproductive toxicity and potential mechanism of TCP subacute exposure on Caenorhabditis elegans. Methods Caenorhabditis elegans were exposed to solvent control and 0.1, 1, 10, 100, and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP respectively for 72 h. Brood size and number of fertilized eggs in the uterus were detected to evaluate reproductive ability. The number of total germline cells and the relative area of gonad arm were measured to evaluate the development of gonads. The body length and body width of Caenorhabditis elegans were detected to evaluate growth and development. The activities of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in Caenorhabditis elegans, and the mitochondrial active oxygen metabolism genes (mev-1 and gas-1) of N2 nematodes were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) to evaluate oxidative stress. WS1433 transgenic nematodes and wild-type nematodes N2 were exposed to solvent control or TCP (0.1, 1, 10, 100, and 1000 μg·L−1) respectively. DNA damage in germ cells of WS1433 transgenic nematodes was detected, the relative expressions of DNA damage-related genes (hus-1, clk-2, cep-1, and egl-1) in N2 nematodes were detected by qRT-PCR to evaluate the effect of TCP exposure on genetic damage. Results Compared with the solvent control group (217.00 ± 12.20), the brood size of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased (170.80 ± 11.51, 169.60 ± 10.52, P < 0.05). Compared with the solvent control group (18.43 ± 1.69), the number of fertilized eggs of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased (13.47 ± 0.81, 11.95 ± 0.90, P < 0.05). Compared with the solvent control group (312.46 ± 77.4), the number of total germline cells of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased (281.80 ± 12.98, 273.50 ± 8.53, P < 0.05). Compared with the solvent control group, the relative area of gonads of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased by 13.83% and 17.25% respectively (P<0.05). Compared with the solvent control group [(1058.10±80.12) μm, (78.21±14.69) μm], the body length and body width of N2 nematodes in the 100 μg·L−1 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased (P<0.05). Compared with the solvent control group, the relative fluorescence intensity of ROS in nematodes in the 10, 100, and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups increased significantly (107.60%±1.02%, 105.90%±1.40%, and 106.40%±1.85%, respectively, P<0.05), and the activities of SOD were reduced (by 20.66%, 15.88%, and 16.44%, respectively, P<0.05). Compared with the solvent control group (1.3±1.3), the number of DNA-damaged germ cells of WS1433 nematodes in the 100 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups increased significantly (2.4±0.3, 2.7±0.3, P<0.05); the expressions of mev-1 and gas-1 genes in N2 nematodes in the 10, 100 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups decreased significantly (P<0.05); the expressions of hus-1 in the 0.1-1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups significantly increased (P<0.05); the expressions of clk-2 and egl-1 in the 100 and 1000 μg·L−1 TCP groups increased significantly (P<0.05); the expressions of cep-1 in the 1, 10, and 100 μg·L−1 TCP groups increased significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion TCP may cause reproductive damage to nematodes through oxidative stress and germ cell DNA damage.
ABSTRACT
Background Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) are representative environmental endocrine disruptors of phthalate esters (PAEs). Some studies have shown that PAEs exposure may have an impact on lipid metabolism. Objective To investigate the effects of DEHP and/or DBP on lipid metabolism in rats and their possible mechanisms of action. Methods Thirty-six weaned healthy SD male rats, 3 weeks old, weighing 50-70 g, were divided into four groups, i.e., a corn oil control group, a DEHP (750 mg·kg−1) group, a DBP (500 mg·kg−1) group, and a DEHP+DBP (750 mg·kg−1+500 mg·kg−1) group. The rats were exposed to DEHP and/or DBP by oral gavage for 8 weeks, and weighed once a week. The rats were anesthetized 24 h after the last dose, and blood was taken from the apical part of the heart. Serum high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), total cholesterol (TC), and triglyceride (TG) were detected. Liver tissues and perigenital adipose tissues were collected, weighed, and one portion of the tissues was fixed in 10% neutral formalin for pathomorphological observation, and another portion was used for mRNA detection of lipid metabolism-related genes such as Janus kinase 3 (JAK3), signal transducer and activator of transcription 5b (STAT5b), and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ). Results During the DEHP and/or DBP exposure period, the rats in all groups were free to eat and drink without death or injury observed. Compared with the control group: The body weight gain in the DEHP+DBP group was lower at all time points from the 2nd week onwards (P<0.05); the liver organ coefficients of the DEHP and the DEHP+DBP groups were higher (P<0.05); the serum LDL-C levels in the DEHP and the DBP groups were higher (P<0.05). Compared with the DEHP+DBP group: The body weight gains in the DEHP group at the 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 8th weeks were higher (P<0.05), and the body weight gains in the DBP group were higher at all time points except the 1st week (P<0.05); the liver organ coefficients in the DEHP group and the DBP group were lower (P<0.05); the serum TG level in the DEHP group was higher(P<0.05), and the serum LDL-C levels in the DEHP and the DBP groups were higher (P<0.05). The pathomorphological results of liver tissues showed that the hepatocytes in the DEHP, DBP, and DEHP+DBP groups were disordered with loss of cord-like arrangement, swelling (suggesting change of cell proliferation), and presented bilirubin pigmentation. The pathomorphological results of rat perigenital adipose tissues showed had irregular alignment, sizes, and arrangement of adipocyte in the DEHP, DBP, and DEHP+DBP groups. The results of rat liver lipid metabolism-related gene mRNA levels showed that the liver JAK3, STAT5b, and PPARγ mRNA levels in the DEHP, DBP, and DEHP+DBP groups were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); the rat liver PPARγ mRNA levels in the DEHP and DBP groups were lower than those in the DEHP+DBP group (P<0.05). Conclusion DEHP and/or DBP can inhibit the increase of body weight to varying degrees, induce inflammatory damage to liver tissues, and cause abnormal lipid metabolism in rats, and the associated mechanism may be related to inhibiting the activation of JAK3/STAT5b/PPARγ signaling pathway in rat liver tissues.

Objective To characterize the distribution and assess the exposure to phthalic acid esters (PAEs) in the indoor dust of Shanghai City. Methods Samples were collected from 33 sampling sites, including homes, hotels, offices and public places, in Shanghai in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The samples were pretreated by 100 sieves, extracted and concentrated, and then analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in selected ion mode (SIM). Results Results on the characteristics of PAEs in indoor dust in different places showed that concentrations of PAEs were in a range of <0.01-2 464 mg·kg-1.The average concentration of 16 PAEs was 613 mg·kg-1. Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), di-iso-butyl phthalate (DiBP), di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) and di-n-octyl phthalate (DnOP) were the main components of PAEs in indoor dust, accounting for approximately 99.5% of 16 PAEs. The intake of DEHP, DBP, DEP and BBP was lower than the tolerable daily intake (TDI) and reference doses (RfD) set by EU CSTEE and U.S. EPA. Conclusion Average daily dose (ADD) via indoor dust is estimated, and the order of intake through different pathways is hand-oral intake>skin contact>respiratory inhalation. Exposure risk of PAEs in children is greater than that in adults.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the efficiency of estradiol cypionate (EC) as an ovulation inducer in a Timed Artificial Insemination protocol. 69 buffalo cows received an intravaginal progesterone device and 2mg of estradiol benzoate (EB) at D0. On D9, the intravaginal device was removed and 0.53mg of prostaglandin (PGF2α) and 400UI of equine chorionic gonadotrophin (eCG) were applied. The cows were distributed into two groups: the first group received 1mg of EC (ECG) in D9, and the second group received 1mg of EB (EBG) in D10. Inseminations occurred on D11. Ovarian activity and pregnancy diagnosis were analyzed by ultrasonography. There was no difference (P>0.05) in follicular diameter (9.6 ± 0.89mm vs. 10.7 ± 1.12mm; P=0.06), in ovulation rate (90.9% vs. 90.9%; P=1) and pregnancy rate (58.8% vs. 62.9%; P=0.79), however, buffalo cows from the ECG treatment have less time between P4 removal and ovulation when compared to EBG buffalos (37.4h vs. 52.8h; P=0.001), respectively. Thus, it was concluded that the implantation of TAI in the floodplain of Amazonas is feasible and the use of EC results in successful rates, similar to EB.(AU)
As inseminações ocorreram no D11.

@#Phthalic acid esters (PAEs) are commonly used plasticizers and solvents. Human body is exposed and absorbed mainly through diet, skin and air inhalation. The biological samples such as urine, blood, saliva, semen and breast milk generally contain PAEs and their metabolites, but the concentrations of PAEs metabolites vary in different samples. In the general population, the levels of PAEs are higher in children than in adults, and higher in women than in men; the levels of PAEs are higher in the occupational population than in the general population. In this paper, the research of PAEs related human biomonitoring in the general population and occupational population at home and abroad is reviewed, so as to provide the basis for reducing the exposure of PAEs and related health risk.

ABSTRACT
@#Introduction: Amino acids are important role-playing components in the maintenance of the normal functions of parts of eye like retina and conjunctiva. In the current study the methyl and ethyl esters of amino acids such as lysine, phenyl alanine and valine were used to enhance the corneal permeation of ketorolac tromethamine. Methods: The amino-acid esters were coupled with the drug ketorolac tromethamine to obtain the test products and were characterized by various analytical techniques. The characterized test products were used to formulate the test ophthalmic solutions of Ketorolac tromethamine such as KPD-1, KPD-1A, KPD-2, KPD-2A, KPD-3 and KPD-3A with methyl and ethyl esters of corresponding amino-acids. These test products were subjected percentage corneal hydration and to permeation studies by using Franz diffusion cell mounted with freshly isolated goat cornea. Results: All the test results were compared with those of the standard Ketorolac tromethamine ophthalmic solution and observed that all the test solutions have exhibited less percentage corneal hydration and enhanced corneal permeation of ketorolac tromethamine. Conclusion: From all the results it can be concluded that the NonsteroidalAnti-Inflammatory Ketorolac has enhanced trans-corneal permeation and reduced corneal hydration when formulated with amino acid transporters by the pro-drug approach in ophthalmic solutions as the formulated pro-drugs have revealed high vitreal drug concentration.
ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: Liquid wax esters are widely used in cosmetic as well as pharmaceutical and other industries. The demand of organic and natural products is increasing nowadays. Coconut oil contains benefit fatty acids and has been mainly used for oil-based and moisturizer products. Liquid wax esters from coconut oil and unsaturated fatty alcohol can be synthesized by enzymatic reaction; and it is interesting for using as an alternative natural ingredient in these industries. RESULTS: Optimal condition for coconut oil based wax ester synthesis by immobilized lipase EQ3 was 10 U of enzyme, temperature at 30°C and molar ratio of coconut oil to oleyl alcohol at 1:3 (mol/mol) (0.33X) dissolved in isooctane for 12 h, while for Lipozyme RM IM optimal condition was 10 U of enzyme, temperature at 45°C and oil/alcohol molar ratio at 1:3 (0.33X) dissolved in isooctane for 3 h. Percentage of wax esters synthesized by both lipases reached more than 88%. Both immobilized lipases catalyzed high yield of wax esters within the 2nd batch; after that, the immobilized lipases showed reduced activity and synthesized b60% of wax esters from the 3rd to 5th batch. The main composition of wax esters was ~48% oleyl laurate with 10% degradation at ~250°C. CONCLUSIONS: The liquid wax ester synthesis by commercial Lipozyme RM IM had higher effect than immobilized lipase EQ3, but both catalysts were stable within 2 batches in the optimum condition. The characteristic properties of wax esters showed potential for use as components in cosmetics and skin care products.

BACKGROUND: Quizalofop-p-ethyl (QPE), a unitary R configuration aromatic oxyphenoxypropionic acid ester (AOPP) herbicide, was widely used and had led to detrimental environmental effects. For finding the QPEdegrading bacteria and promoting the biodegradation of QPE, a series of studies were carried out. RESULTS: A QPE-degrading bacterial strain YC-XJ1 was isolated from desert soil and identified as Methylobacterium populi, which could degrade QPE with methanol by cometabolism. Ninety-seven percent of QPE (50 mg/L) could be degraded within 72 h under optimum biodegradation condition of 35°C and pH 8.0. The maximum degradation rate of QPE was 1.4 mg/L/h, and the strain YC-XJ1 exhibited some certain salinity tolerance. Two novel metabolites, 2-hydroxy-6-chloroquinoxaline and quinoxaline, were found by high-performance liquid chromatography/mass spectroscopy analysis. The metabolic pathway of QPE was predicted. The catalytic efficiency of strain YC-XJ1 toward different AOPPs herbicides in descending order was as follows: haloxyfop-pmethyl ≈ diclofop-methyl ≈ fluazifop-p-butyl N clodinafop-propargyl N cyhalofop-butyl N quizalofop-p-ethyl N fenoxaprop-p-ethyl N propaquizafop N quizalofop-p-tefuryl. The genome of strain YC-XJ1 was sequenced using a combination of PacBio RS II and Illumina platforms. According to the annotation result, one α/ß hydrolase gene was selected and named qpeh1, for which QPE-degrading function has obtained validation. Based on the phylogenetic analysis and multiple sequence alignment with other QPE-degrading esterases reported previously, the QPEH1 was clustered with esterase family V. CONCLUSION: M. populi YC-XJ1 could degrade QPE with a novel pathway, and the qpeh1 gene was identified as one of QPE-degrading esterase gene.

Objective@#To evaluate the bond performance of primers, universal adhesives and self-adhesive resin cements containing methacryloyloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate (MDP) to zirconia.@*Methods@#Two hundred and ten yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (Y-TZP) plates were prepared and divided into seven groups according to each of six MDP-containing products and one MDP-free resin cement. Two primers, two universal adhesives and two self-adhesive resin cements were applied on the specimens after these specimens recived alumina air abrasion. The group of MDP-free resin cement was set as control. Each group contained 30 specimens. Y-TZP plates were bonded to resin composite to build resin bonding specimens, and half of these plates were stored in distilled water at 37 ℃ for 24 hours, the other half were stored for 12 months. Shear bond strength (SBS) test and fracture modes analysis were performed.@*Results@#The SBS values of all the experimental groups were above 9.51 MPa, which increased 24-hour values compared to the (5.04±0.50) MPa of the control group. Group using one of the self-adhesive resin cement yielded the highest SBS, (11.06±0.84) MPa. SBS of all groups decreased significantly compared to 24-hour SBS after aging (P<0.05), however, the SBS values of MDP-containing products groups can still be maintained above 7.44 MPa. Two self-adhesive cement groups and one of the universal adhesive group maintained higher SBS values, and the values were statistical different from those from the two primer groups (P<0.05) .@*Conclusions@#Different MDP-containing products have different effects on the bond durability of zirconia.
