RESUMO

The article analyzes chief physician SUN Wuquan's empirical characteristics in treating neck-type cervical spondylosis:disease differentiation combined with pattern differentiation, emphasizing the assessment of tendons and bones, with DING's Tuina(Chinese therapeutic massage)manipulations and static Gongfa(Qigong exercise)as the predominant treatment, inherits the academic features of DING's Tuina school,"paying equal attention to tendons and bones, putting function first";thus provides a reference for treating neck-type cervical spondylosis with Tuina therapy.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES@#This study aimed to explore the relationship between alveolar cleft and secondary nasal deformity post unilateral cleft lip repair in adults.@*METHODS@#A total of 27 patients aged 16-30 years old with unilateral secondary nasal deformity and alveolar cleft were included, 13 of whom underwent bone grafting. Spiral CT data of all preoperative and postoperative patients who had alveolar bone grafting were collected. Then, Mimics software was used for three-dimensional reconstruction to evaluate the correlation between the width, height, and volume of the alveolar cleft and those of the nasal deformity. The difference in nasal deformity before and after alveolar bone grafting was also explored.@*RESULTS@#The width of the alveolar cleft was positively correlated with the difference in bilateral nostril floor width (P<0.05). As the effective depth of the alveolar cleft increased, the sub-alare inclination angle largened (P<0.05). However, no significant difference was found in the nasal deformity between before and after alveolar bone grafting.@*CONCLUSIONS@#Alveolar cleft is closely related to secondary nasal deformities post unilateral cleft lip repair, especially nasal floor deformities. Alveolar bone grafting benefits adult patients for the improvement of secondary nasal deformities post unilateral cleft lip repair.

RESUMO

Osteoporosis is one of the common clinical orthopedic diseases, which can lead to a variety of complications. There are many pathogenic factors in this disease. The latest research found that ATP6V1H is a new gene leading to the occurrence of osteoporosis, and it is likely to become a new target for the future drug treatment of osteoporosis. This paper introduces the biological structure and characteristics of H subunit, summed up the human body caused by loss of ATP6V1H and animal models such as zebrafish, mice bone loss and osteoporosis symptom such as related research reports of the loss, from osteoclast, osteoblast and marrow stromal cell level and the connection between the various subunits further expounds the H subunit regulate bone dynamic balance of mechanism, to explore ATP6V1H in bone developmentand bone related diseases has laid a solid foundation, also provide new ideas for clinical treatment of osteoporosis.

RESUMO

According to Chinese medicine, the atlantoaxial joint is a composite joint composed of tendons and bones, and the stability of the joint depends on the 'tendon-bone balance' involving tendons, ligaments, atlas and axis. Multiple causes of 'tendon off-position, joint subluxation' will lead to joint 'tendon-bone imbalance', which will evolve into atlantoaxial subluxation (AAS), endangering human health. Chinese therapeutic massage (tuina) is a very effective treatment for AAS in adults, but conventional manipulations are prone to ineffectiveness or accidents due to neglect of the causal relationship of the 'tendon-bone imbalance' and inappropriate manipulations. Compared with conventional manipulations, the rational choice of modified manipulations under the guidance of 'tendon-bone balance' theory is more effective and less risky, and more worthy of clinical promotion. From the 'tendon-bone balance' theory, we considered the shortcomings of conventional manipulations, and introduced several modified manipulations that have their own strengths in 'tendon smoothing' and 'bone setting', in order to provide new ideas for treatment of AAS in adults.

RESUMO

TCM believes that physical tendons and bone are interdependent, keeping dynamic balance, and they influence each other pathologically. Physical tendons and bone balance is human spine physiological state. Physical tendons and bone imbalance is the important pathogenesis of spine and related diseases. The core of physical tendons and bone balance-regulating theory is the physique homology and syndrome differentiation and treatment. This article expounded from the above aspects in details.
