Promoção do aleitamento materno no contexto da estratégia de saúde da família / Promoting breastfeeding in the context of family health strategy

ABSTRACT

Objectives: To describe health promotion for the breastfeeding and reflecting on its importance within the Family Health Strategy, where contacts with pregnant women are nurtured. Method: This is a descriptive study that used the literature review as a basis for discussion. From the findings the results were broken down into subcategories in order to elucidate on the promotion of breastfeeding in the ESF and the importance of nurses in this context. Results: The results were grouped into two categories, the first lifting ten works on the promotion of breastfeeding and its importance and on the second nurse in the promotion of breastfeeding in the environment described. Conclusion: Nurses have the opportunity to strengthen ties, educate and raise awareness about breastfeeding practices in the studied environment, welcoming their customers, forming bonds, reducing uncertainties and promoting health.

RESUMO

Objetivos: Descrever a promoção da saúde para o aleitamento materno e refletir sobre sua importância no espaço da Estratégia de Saúde da Família, onde os contatos com a gestante são oportunizados. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo e exploratório que utilizou a revisão de bibliografia como base para discussão. A partir dos achados os resultados foram divididos em subcategorias, visando elucidar sobre a promoção do aleitamento materno na ESF e a importância do enfermeiro nesse contexto. Resultados: Os resultados foram agrupados em duas categorias, a primeira levantando dez obras a respeito da promoção do aleitamento materno e sua importância e a segunda sobre o enfermeiro na promoção do aleitamento materno no ambiente descrito. Conclusão: O enfermeiro tem a oportunidade de estreitar laços, educar e sensibilizar a respeito das práticas de amamentação no ambiente estudado, acolhendo suas clientes, formando vínculos, diminuindo inseguranças e promovendo saúde.
