A saúde das pessoas ribeirinhas ao Rio Macaé: a relação do estilo de vida com os aspectos ambientais / The Health of people bordering the Macaé River: the relationship between lifestyle and environmental aspects

RESUMO

O presente estudo estabelecido no Núcleo de Fundamentos do Cuidado de Enfermagem (NUCLEARTE) da EEAN tem como objeto a relação do estilo de vida com o processo saúde-doença da população ribeirinha de Macaé. Para tanto, foram traçados os seguintes objetivos (geral) analisar a relação do estilo de vida com o processo saúde-doença das populações ribeirinhas de Macaé; (específicos) caracterizar o estilo de vida destas populações ribeirinhas, relacionar o estilo de vida das populações ribeirinhas com o processo saúde- doença, propor um modelo teórico explicativo sobre a relação da saúde ambiental com a saúde das pessoas. O referencial teórico do estudo foi o Interacionismo Simbólico considerando a relevância busca pela significação. A abordagem metodológica selecionada foi a pesquisa qualitativa sob orientação da Teoria Fundamentada nos Dados (TFD). O cenário do estudo foi a população ribeirinha de Macaé. Os dados foram coletados por múltiplos instrumentos, com destaque a entrevista semiestruturada em profundidade. Os depoimentos coletados foram analisados considerando os procedimentos próprios da TFD codificação aberta, codificação axial e codificação seletiva, com apreensão da categoria central. É preciso enfatizar que o estudo em tela apontou como principal construto a sua própria Teoria Substantiva, que versa sobre um ribeirinho que não pode ser padronizado à luz das outras realidades do país. Há marcas simbólicas específicas nesta vivência de Macaé, que faz nexo direto com a exploração do Petróleo na cidade. De tal modo, tanto as políticas públicas (no plano mais abrangente), quanto as ações das equipes (de forma mais direta junto aos ribeirinhos) precisam compreender tais especificidades. Isto, evitando estratégias e modus operandi não correlacionados as especificidades locais.

ABSTRACT

The present study established in the Center of Fundamentals of Nursing Care (NUCLEARTE) of the EEAN has as its object the relationship of the lifestyle with the health-disease process of the riverside population of Macaé. To do so, the following objectives (general) were drawn to analyze the relationship of the lifestyle with the health-disease process of the populations bordering Macaé; (specific) characterize the lifestyle of these riverine populations, relate the lifestyle of the riverine population to the health-disease process, and propose a theoretical model explaining the relationship between environmental health and people's health. The theoretical reference of the study was Symbolic Interactionism considering the relevance search for meaning. The methodological approach selected was the qualitative research under the guidance of the Data Based Theory (PDT). The study scenario was the Macaé riverine population. The data were collected by multiple instruments, with emphasis on the semi-structured interview in depth. The collected statements were analyzed considering the procedures of PDT open coding, axial coding and selective coding, with apprehension of the ventral category. It is necessary to emphasize that the study on screen pointed out as its main construct its own Substantive Theory, which is about a riverine that can not be standardized in the light of the other realities of the country. There are specific symbolic marks in this experience of Macaé, which makes direct connection with the exploration of Petroleum in the city. Thus, both public policies (in the broader plan) and the actions of the teams (more directly with the riverside) need to understand such specificities. This, avoiding unmodified strategies and modus operandi the local specificities.
