RESUMEN

En el siguiente artículo de revisión, es producto de una reflexión que surge sobre una problemática que cada vez más se transforma en un fenómeno de salud pública. Se presenta una revisión sobre las definiciones y los términos empleados para etiquetarla. Se concluye que existen un sinnúmero de etiquetas desde su surgimiento hasta la actualidad y la multiculturalidad juega un papel determinante.

ABSTRACT

In the following review article, it is the product of a reflection that emerges about a problem that is increasingly becoming a public health phenomenon. A review of the definitions and terms used to label it is presented. It is concluded that there are countless labels from its emergence to the present and multiculturalism plays a determining role.
