Background:
Laparoscopic ovarian drilling [LOD] has been commonly used for the treatment of clomiphene citrate [CC]-resistant women with polycystic ovarian syndrome [PCOS]. However, about 20-30% of anovulatory women with PCOS fail to respond to LOD.
