RESUMO
Apresenta-se e discute-se, neste artigo, um novo modo e o protocolo experimental aplicado para determinar a faixa dinâmica realmente útil em comunicação eletrotáctil. Empregou-se modulação PAM e envoltórias elíptica e triangular. Pelo método tradicional, a faixa dinâmica medida variou entre 6.4 e 16.3 dB. Pelo Método proposto, reduziu-se para a faixa de 2.66 a 12.96 dB.
ABSTRACT
Abstract - A novel method and the experimental protocol to determine the useful dynamic range in electrotactile communication using PAM technique with elliptical and triangular envelopes are presented and discussed. By the traditional method, the results were 6.4 - 16.3 dB, meanwhile the results obtained with the proposed method were reduced to 2.66 - 12.96 dB
