ABSTRACT
This case refers to an aberrant hepatic duct that drained the totality of the right posterior segment of the liver and inserting into the midportion of the cystic duct, namely cystohepatic duct. This occurrence is very rare. If cystohepatic duct suffers iatrogenic injury, bile peritonitis (section) or localized cirrhosis (ligature) may result. The diagnosis of the presence of such anatomy can be made by routine intraoperative cholangiography, with is recommended. Preoperative endoscopic retrograde cholangiography (ERCP) may not demonstrate this anomaly due to cystic duct occlusion, but CHD may be suspected at ERCP if a lack of vision of the biliary tree in an area of the right lobe ("nacked segment") is evident
