ABSTRACT
This paper is a short biography of Galen that lived during the of reign Adrianus, between the years 129 and 216 AD. Satirus, Estratonicus and Escrion were his makers and he lived in Alexandria, Pergamus and Rome. He had difficult relationships with his contemporary colleagues due to his revolutionary medical concepts, but had important contributions to the knowledge of medicine
